Back in the 2000s in the streets of England, Ronaldo was the one. Everybody wanted to do the chop and the stepover. Everybody wanted to do the deep breath freekick. Everybody wanted the mercurial boots. Everybody wanted the hairstyle. Everybody wanted the physique. Everybody wanted to play like Cristiano.
Icon of football, he evolved and changed so many times. We seen it all with one man.
Kids nowadays dont know why Ronaldo has the biggest fan base ever. Mans was only 20 and played withour fear in the biggest and toughest league and made himself a living legend. His football back then was revolutionary and a joy to watch. Long shoots, freekicks, dribbling, skills, pace, heading, playmaking... This guy had it all. And he went to Madrid and became even greater. Sad to see this guy aging..

Really. It's bizzare how when people talk about Cristiano today they completely disregard what a player he was between 2003-2009
i really dissapointed with a lot kids nowadays ....they always said ronaldo didn't know how to dribble, freekick.. but they didn't know the man utd version of ronaldo is a monster

@@camerongibson1021 perhaps he means it in the sense of how hungry, skillful and entertaining he was right from his debut. Football has existed for decades but watching him as a kid on the ball at Manchester just hit different. Nowadays there are of course plenty of talented footballers both young-guns and older, but I feel like they inspire children whom already play football. Idk if I speak for everyone else but, seeing him in KZhead clips and on my small teli inspired me to actually start playing the game itself every single day at school and after school for 6 years of my childhood wanting to be that CR7. My family had no interest in football but seeing Ronaldo's magic just hit me different compared to anyone I've seen.

I wasn't so sad about Ronaldinho after, who scored a blinder from 40 yards out on his debut....Never! thought Cristiano would become who he has, that's dedication/professionalism.
