Lmao your mic* test was hilarious. Love it.
@screenbite Cloud Alpha or G4me Zero? for Csgo
I'm not sure if you'd reply since it's been a long time since you uploaded your video, but I just got my Game Zero and without turning sound suppression on it has that loud background noise, may I ask if you turned sound suppression on or off in the video?
Bought this headset with a gsx 1000 amp by shinhiser best thing ever highly recommend getting them together

I have the white version of these. Have used them for quite a while. I really like the look, the sound is great, and the ability to fold them surprisingly useful. My only complaint with them is that they make my head feel quite hot with extended use, and that can be uncomfortable, especially in the extremely hot summers I deal with... Oh. It's a bit late nowadays, but just a warning... There are 4 screws inside the headband, and I've had two of them on one side come loose more than once. It's not a disaster, but it does risk losing the screws...
Does the newer model have a more neutral soundscape or does it still have high amounts of treble and bass? The mic quality is nice, but I think it'd be better to get a more neutral pair of studio cans and then a mod mic or something, should come out to around the same price of $150-$200 for a cheaper end pair of studio cans.
I completely agree. I actually have the Antlion mod mic 5 coming in soon for review. and depending on how great that sounds. I would definitely pair my k7XX with the modmic over this headset. I will say the boost isn't very extreme. it is just enough to be noticeable. But you can definitely get equivalent sound for much cheaper. As for the newer model sounding any different, to be honest I am not quite sure.
The Game Zero's don't have 150ohms. They used to, but they came out like 3 years ago and I'm pretty sure they've fixed it shortly after they released them due to a large number of complaints from people who's hardware couldn't handle them (causing them to sound really bad). The version listed on Amazon and sold by Sennheiser right now is 50ohms.
I mentioned that in this review.
Oh I see where you put the text on the screen now. Cool. I was listening but not watching.
Hey no worries! Still a good call out.
Screenbite im using a z730 hd3 motherboard will that be able to handle this headset or do i need to buy a soundcard?
yup, removable cable is 50 ohms, can still get the 150 ones tho, atleast here.
Do these now need an amp? Or is the 50 ones good to go? I have no luxury to buy a 200 dollar amp for a headset. Can someone let me Know plz
i have a 8 year old pc can i still run this headset on my soundcard ?
May I ask you to link us the newer model of this headset on Amazon thx
+Tour Du Web it can be hard to to tell with these. But I think these might be the new model. When I look in the description it says 50 ohms
I just got mine and there's almost no bass compared for example to HD448 that I also own. And 448 are known for lack of bass. Is It suppose to be like that? I use them with Sennheiser GSX1000
I think that is normal. For me I have very low bass on my unit as well. I think it just may be the Sennheiser sound signature since they aren’t really known for bass. But to say no bass I don’t think that is the case though. I can still notice it. It is just as pronounced.
Screenbite ok thx for the answer :) I have to say that I'm getting use to them... the're great in online fps games that I play like Tarkov and Dayz/Arma for hearing enemies and sound pisitioning.
pawel187 awesome to hear,i was worried about this thing..and the thing is i am playing always tarkov,so you re saying like for tarkov the game zero doing good right?
pawel187 i mean even if they are not 7.1 and stuff like that
Yea, Game Zeros definetly do the job, but to be honest I don't have much compariosn in other headphones. I did bass mod to them and now I like them even more. But I wouldn't concider them as main headphones if You wan't to listen to music, movies or playing some Immrsive games like rpg, witcher or smth with them. In fps game they're great tho, sound is clear and crisp. About 7.1, I use them with Sennheiser GSX which have surround sound but tbh for sound positioning stereo is just better. Surround sound for sure adds more Immersion and sounds better but is less accurate in positioning enemies or shots ingame (of course it's only My opinion). I love It tho and use It whenever I can in not online, competitive games. About Tarkov. If You want You can use razer surround sound which has option with sound normalization. If You combine It with TacComs You will hear just everything. I'ts almost like cheating tbh. My English is not that great but If u want pm me in pl... cheers
Why is a sound card essential? What difference does it make?
if you purchase the 50ohm version of these headphones you will not need a sound card however a sound card provides ample power and i think improves the quality of the sound
sennheiser game zero or hyperx cloud alpha? :)
I haven’t had a chance to try the hyper X alpha. But I did own the cloud 2s for a while. I would definitively choose the game zeros over the cloud 2s a lot more comfortable. And the sound quality is top notch.
for the 50-ohm models, is it necessary to get an external amp? or will it be fine without it?
Most newer motherboards should suffice let me know what motherboard you have, If your PC has static inside of it, It might effect it
I can't tell if I have the 150 or 50 ohm model. I got the special edition one on amazonwww.amazon.com/dp/B0711SG5V6/ref=twister_B077DTWYV8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 reviews are mixed on it too. Can you help me out?
May Try those I believe are the 150 ohm version. All of the newer models like to flaunt the 50 ohm thing. So if you get them make sure you have some sort of amp.
Alright, thanks :)
Best for csgo
