Can't remember the year but every team ranked 1 2 or 3 lost at least once. And they had one week where like 6 teams in the top 10 all lost. Was a crazy year

You're not alone at least. The Ducks showed up 3 times in this vid and only one of those was in our favor. It'd be 1-3 if they'd included the embarrassing performance we gave against Iowa St.
Damn I remember when UNC beating FSU was considered an upset. Now it's the other way around lol.
Louisiana’s coach, Billy Napier, was one of my childhood heroes at Furman University. We went to all the games growing up and he was a hell of a quarterback. I’m glad to see him doing his thing as a coach now.
One thing that really is impressive is that was Chance Nolan’s first snap as a Beaver because the Starter Gebbia got hurt on the play before and Nolan also wasn’t used to taking snaps under center.
I like how LSU was featured twice on this. Once as the looser and once as the winner
So was Mississippi state. Typical SEC football to me.
sec isnt too great its just alabama carrying the SEC. Georgia probably couldnt even beat the top 2 best teams which are iowa state and oklahoma

Mississippi State over LSU made it in! Glad to see it in there even though in retrospect this upset wasn’t as huge as it felt at the time. Aaaaaaand there’s the Arkansas game.... 😐

I was at the FSU-UNC game. That whole week I just had a feeling that we would give UNC a game considering that we actually played against ND pretty well given where we were. I spent almost $100 on a ticket to go to that game based on a feeling, and it paid off. I’ve got the same feeling for our season opener against ND, so here’s hoping history repeats itself? Regardless, our crowd of 19,000 was so loud, it sounded like 80,000.

Liberty losing to NC state wasnt an upset, liberty was like a 6 point underdog.
Despite us being underestimated, NC State was our one loss that year. Hugh Freeze takes underdogs and turns them into pack leaders.

Considering Michigan was crowned national champs by the media (again) after smoking Minnesota in week 1. Them getting beat by a 1st year head coach who didn't get to recruit for that season or have spring practice to implement his system has to be the biggest upset of the year.
You should do the same thing when college basketball is over
At the time Louisiana over Iowa St was a huge upset but not as much as Louisiana proved their talent. Keep up the great content.

@@GeauxHardT247 that’s true. Would have loved to see the rematch. I’m just saying Coastal was better because they won the head to head and finished ranked higher. Louisiana was a top 15 team in my opinion, though. App State was probably a little underrated too.

I absolutely enjoyed the hogs dominating MSU. Since alot of the seniors are coming back im excited to see how sam is going to progress

I was there at the FSU vs UNC game, will always be burnt into my head how dominant we were in that first half. Was really scared at the end, but it’s probably one of the few things I’ll have to hold on to for hope in the team.
Looking at it now I wouldn’t call LSU vs Mississippi state and Arkansas vs Mississippi state an upset.
I mainly based this off how it was perceived at the time. So yea in hindsight those weren’t big upsets but at the time they were. Miss State defeated the defending national champions and Arkansas ended their SEC losing streak by beating the 16th ranked team.
@@pschighlights true. This was probably the hardest year to rank teams going into the season because the media didn’t get a lot of access to practices and teams weren’t as prepared

It's just classic SEC play. You're not gonna win a national championship if you don't OWN the SEC.
I mean, obviously, Mississippi State didn’t keep up what they had the entire year from LSU, but I’m still proud of how the team finished the year. Honestly, I can’t wait for this next year when they have an entire offseason to prepare and get ready, to fully implement everything. I think Leach really will do well here at State. Hail State! Can’t wait for next season!

@@andygygi5135 Honestly? I don’t know who started what with that Tulsa - State fight. It was a mess from the start and was a mess for a good few minutes afterward. However, I will not be going anymore into that, as I am talking about the entire year and not just that one game. Was it bad? Absolutely. Do I think it should mark the entire year? Not at all.

I like it when teams pulled upsets then got upset later on like Kansas State and Texas. Jordy Nelson was celebrating than his team suffered despair. Nelson was a great NFL receiver.

The Ragin Cajun game was the best game I’ve seen I don’t watch them often but this season they looked good
The Big 12 is the most chaotic conference of all time my Sooners season didn’t start great but after that Texas game we played hard and finished in a great way

It was expected bc of the loss of almost half their team to COVID

Even though both programs ended up being bad, the Mississippi State vs LSU game was honestly one of the most entertaining games I've watched in years.
Florida State upsetting #5 North Carolina was one of the best games of FSU’s season.

How the fuck could that 2pt conversion from Indiana stand? The ball CLEARLY never crossed the plane. Hell, it barely reached far enough to bounce off the FRONT of the pylon?! I'm not a fan of either team but, my God, that's gotta be the worst call I've seen all season.
It hit the side and knocked it over, and even if it did hit the front and the front only, it would be a good two point try regardless.

Their head coach is amazing when it comes to preparing for huge games. He was the head coach for NDSU, so pulling off those types of upsets is part of his style.

As an ISU fan, I’ll give credit where credit is due. Louisiana obviously served as the better team in every level here and I congratulate them for that 😁

While Watching highlights from this year I always forget most stadiums didn’t allow full capacity bc of Covid
BYU VS Coastal Carolina in 2020 should have been on this list. They were both undefeated at the time in their last games but I would argue that BYU was the superior team with Zach Wilson at the helm. And BYU lost only because of the short notice of the game, the resulting jet lag and some pretty questionable no calls by Coastal's home town referees.
South Carolina vs auburn was biggest upset cause we are that bad.
