Just wanted to clarify that my main way of deciding on which games to include was how they were perceived at the time. So even though a game like Kansas State vs Oklahoma wasn’t surprising in hindsight, at the time it was viewed as a big upset. Also, I didn’t take the point spreads into too much consideration. I think a game where an unranked team beats a top 15 team and storms the field should be included in this video regardless of what the betting odds said. I’m not perfect so let me know if there’s any games I should have included. Lastly, I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m probably not going to be able to post as many compilations this year. I am very busy with school and think that should be my top priority right now.
Yes bro school first for sure also can you put Kentucky beating Florida for pt2
No way you make videos of this quality for as long as you have and are still in school. 😶
@@Bucketheads_CR yup started my channel when I was a sophomore in high school now I’m a junior in college
@@pschighlights well done sir I am very impressed
Best of luck in school, I've enjoyed these videos
Funny how Texas a&m was massively upset at the beginning of the season and then pulled off a massive upset of their own at the end of the season
I was so prepared to label them as "worst SEC team" until that match happened
@@OhSayWhatIsTruthThey still are the worst SEC team
Same with Marshall beating Notre Dame and then losing to Bowling Green lol
Even crazier when considering App State didn't even end up bowl eligible.
Texas A&M always does that. From an Aggie who has gone through the pain with the fan base, I can admit we are really good at starting the season hyped up, losing to teams mid to early season that we shouldn’t be losing to, and then finding a way to beat a top 5 team every year at some point. We did it last year with bama, this year with LSU. What’s next, Tennessee next season???
South Carolina destroying UT was the biggest upset, not because Carolina is an FCS team or not competitive, but the score was just hard to believe.
Carolina is in the sec
Do you watch football ? This is the dumbest comment I’ve ever seen if you aren’t kidding
Don't forget Clemson.
@@jackieyu4787 You are right. Carolina had a good season. They have an excellent coach. The game vs UT was not a huge upset like these other games, but I remember looking at the score and could not believe it. Carolina could put 80 on UT.
@@Burgerqueer Yes, I have been a Bama fan for many years. Carolina beating UT was not a huge upset like these other games, but the score was a big surprise. Carolina had a good season.
"Well if you dont like College Football, aand you watched this one.. i dont know what your problem is" makes me chuckle everytime 😭😭
Man that season passed by so fast.. I love CFB so much. the upset videos are always amazing too
Vols vs bama was one of the best games I've ever watched. Just pure entertainment from start to finish. Also, the SMU vs Hou game this was bananas. 92 points at the half. This was a spectacle of a different breed. I wish there were more fans there for atmosphere, but still. Amazing.
Garbage defense🤮
South Carolina vs Tennessee was the funniest game I’ve ever watched
@@divid_ saddest game i ever seen... couldnt watch it so i went to sleep with high hopes, woke up with a broken heart.
That Tennessee Bama game was an incredible game to watch before heading to Rice Eccles and losing my voice as we "upset" USC. That was one of the greatest days of college football ever.
@@balderdash14good, you deserve nothing more.
I’m a vol fan and props to SC for upsetting us like they did… looked like their season was over and they had mailed it in and then boom did they strike back…
2 biggest ones both involve Tennessee in my opinion. Beating Bama then losing to South Carolina. It was Bama's first loss and Tennessee hadn't proven yet they could play to that level this year until after that game. Then losing to South Carolina sealed their fate
Honestly my favorite game of these is probably South Carolina vs Tennessee, that was so good to watch
South Carolina with 3 upsets this season. Beamer is cooking something special
Unfortunatley when they come to Neyland in Knoxville that’ll be on hold after Tenn destroys them at home this year!🤣🤣
@@foxtown7662 Tennessee a bunch of bums they gonna choke like usual 😂
@@foxtown7662 I wouldn't bet on it
@@batmangummies5393 yeah cause they finished in the top 10 and have been owning SC for how long? But oh well….Great job 👍🏻👍🏻
@@foxtown7662 nice job man! Use overall record because right now that means so much considering the vols lost to a unranked team 63-38!
South Carolina is on here three times. In retrospect the bigger question is how they lost to the Gators, not how they beat Clemson, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Also, man I miss college football. Can't wait till September!
No creativity in the offense. Line played horrible. Defense would have done enough if offense scores, but instead defense is gassed.
They beat Kentucky, but if I remember correctly, Levis was out. Had he played it probably wouldn't have been a W for USC. Great win against UT.
Kansas State and South Carolina were certainly both pleasant surprises this year
Sc the wildcats suck.
@@oklahomasoonersfootball we own the state of oklahoma
@@galaxylord9297 we are Oklahoma, any team else dies.
@@oklahomasoonersfootball Don't you mean Chokelahoma? Lost another bowl game. Sucks to be yOU.
@@oklahomasoonersfootball even though they sucked this year
As a Michigan State fan it is so odd to see a team storming the field after beating us given how terrible we were this year, but at this point it kind of made sense. Thank you for allowing me to relive this trauma
But then we beat Illinois, I forgot about that, redeemed
Washington was also favored so it really didn't make sense at all. Here's to a better year next year tho, go green.
I mean, you guys were ranked #11 at the time. We had no idea that Michigan State would be pretty mediocre for the rest of the season.
Was at that game lol it was awesome
It's always a good week when you guys lose. It's an even better week when the wolverines or buckeyes lose!
...he has trouble with the snap!... Words to freeze the blood of every Michigan fan...
APP STATE! *runs away screaming in terror*
You forgot the best one Tulane comeback against usc but I understand it’s a lot and you busy with school bro but thanks for vid we appreciate what you do!
I saw they had mentioned they had a lot of trouble posting the original highlight video of Tulane vs USC due to constantly getting claimed and taken down. So I’m guessing they left it out to avoid the headache of the risk of this whole video getting flagged with it. Which I certainly don’t blame them at all if that’s the case.
When we needed him the most. PCS dropped a 2022 football recap 🙏
Shane Beamer is the future Nick Saban.
Fun year to be a Gamecock
5 months later and Carolina is still scoring touchdowns against Tennessee
I’d rather take 11-2 than 8-5
@@Matt40218 stay mad buddy
Tennessee fan here, Rattler had the game of his life that night.
how about that florida game?
@@tylereslinger9005 How did Florida do in that bowl game? Y’all are the new Tennesee. Tennessee has surpassed y’all and though y’all beat us, we have surpassed y’all. Sunbelt Billy is getting fired next year and y’all are on the three year coaching plan.
*sandstorm intensifies*
Yeahh go gamecocks!!! 🤙🏼🐔
Utah's biggest thing holding them back is that they're always good for one dumb loss that ruins their playoff hopes
Losing to Florida kept them out of the playoffs
Amen to that.
Same for every Pac-12 team that gets that good
@@grantstill8657 The Pac-12 is the biggest indicator that the Crab Mentality exists.
@@arcwiz We are a very deep and competitive conference since 2014 we have 5 different winners, sec has 4, big ten has 4, big 12 has 2, and acc has 3. So with as much hate the Pac 12 receive you never know who might win the conference unlike the shitty ass other power 5 conference. We know who will be in the sec conference championship this year already. we know it will be either Ohio state or Michigan in the big 10 championship game, we know it will be Clemson or fsu in the acc game while the Pac we have no idea it can be Oregon, Washington, usc, ucla, Oregon state or Utah or even WSU is a sneaky pick. that is 7 of our 12 schools could win the conference every other p5 conference has only 2 with the exception of the big 12.
Not one, not two, but three for SCar. 2023 is an insanely tough schedule, 2024 will be magic.
Thanks for this video in the off-season! I love to watch these
I'm honestly very excited to see what South Carolina is gonna bring to the table next season.
Yikes...
@@chexder9480lmao I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully Saturday though…
This aged well
That A&M-LSU game was proof how good A&M could be when they played like themselves and didn’t try and be something they weren’t. Finally having a mostly healthy squad helped too. Maybe they’ll turn the corner this year, but as an A&M fan everything i’m saying is probably bullshit and we’ll go 8-4 at best💀😭
Being a AGGIE and COWBOY fan has been a nightmare for years!!I can't take much more.
It will be another sad year for you
There’s a reason it’s Clemson and SC on the thumbnail 💯
That’s Tennessee…
@@danielZfinger oh shit my fault lmfao idk what I think I was watching the Clemson upset when making that comment 😂
Hey its ok Tennessee was cosplaying as Clemson and we took it personally
This year has been one of the best years for football overall - no doubt. This college season rivals 2007 with all the upsets
Yeah I was really happy to see this season, there’s actually completion now it’s not just the same 2 teams steamrolling through the whole season.
@@batmangummies5393 Now it's just one, Georgia kind of spoiled this season for me because there was no way they weren't gonna win the natty from the start. Other than the national championship this season was amazing though
The fact my Gamecocks were on this THREE times shows that they are a very dangerous team
As a lifelong FSU fan. I feel like I have to say. As much as I love my team, the progress made in the 2022 season and how I look forward to the coming college football season. I thoroughly enjoyed watch Utah last season. They were such a great team to watch. I hope to see FSU and Utah in the playoffs this season. Hell throw LSU in there too. I'm hyped AF for the 2023 college football season.
Couldn't get enough of watching LSU expose the SEC after getting outplayed for 3 and 1/2 quarters by FSU 😆
I'm so sorry.
Looking back, you could also put the Nebraska/Georgia Southern game on the "almost upsets" of the year
good year to be a carolina fan
TCU is a very good team but they punched well above their weight in the CFP. To even make it to the dance is an accomplishment.
100% agree. I’m a Kansas state fan and beating them in the B12C was huge for us but I give them huge props for making it into the top 4. Their QB was incredible.
Man I’ve been waiting for this video all year
Imagine if Missouri had pulled off the unthinkable
Would've been the upset of the season
Its so great looking back it turns out 90% of these weren't really upsets that why we love the game!
A lot of teams who fell to the upset bug early in the season, went on to score psets of their own later in the year. Great to see.
Much love and support for your channel homie straight facts 💯 and I will always support you and your channel all da way home and that is straight facts 💯 because I totally love college football and that is straight facts 💯
How about South Carolina the gamecocks were upsetting everyone that year
As a friend of mine put it, “for a non-playoff team, they’re certainly wrecking a lot of seasons”
It’s honestly refreshing to see Illinois as the victim of a ranked upset in football!
what a season, man. twists and turns galore. hard to beat good ol' AMERICAN football🇺🇸
Georgia- “We don’t have to worry about being in this video” 😃
@theman1412, I am going to be petty, but factual. Remember how Tennessee was ranked number one right before we played and beat them? Should have been on here even though it was b.s.
God, this college football season was so GOOD! Congrats to Georgia on repeating as National Champions!
I’m surprised the Pac-12 championship, Oregon-Oregon State, UTEP-Boise State, and MWC Championship didn’t make the list. I think Boise State was favored when they played Fresno State. Also BYU-Liberty.
Utah winning isn’t an upset
At the time, it was. Utah won close at home. It was expected of USC to play better against us.
Idk why byu liberty wasn't shown. I was laughing my butt off when. I saw what happened.
Last year who would’ve thought Michigan State beating Illinois would be an upset?
That south Carolina kids reaction was how my gf reacts when I tell her it's time to quit shopping. Hopefully he's a grown man now😂
The best highlight here I’m not saying this just because I’m a South Carolina fan it is South Carolina vs Tennessee
Coach Beamer Got Something Special Going On in South Carolina 🤔 Spurs Up ☝️ Go Gamecocks 👍🏈🏆
Florida beating Utah will always remain the biggest head-scratcher of all these
Hey brother, another great video!! Thanks again!! Hope you’re doing well!!
I don't know what was worse for Washington, losing to Arizona State to be kept out of the Pac-12 Championship and a shot at the Playoff or having to look at those ASU uniforms while it happened
😅
Was at that game. Uniforms were wretched
Kansas state had 3 upsets in one season with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and then TCU. Can’t wait to see how they do in 2023
I’m blessed to see my Gamecocks on here, thrice! Spurs Up!!!
South carolina has one of my favorite uniform color schemes but literally the worst mascot name l...lets go cocks💀
Those were some great games I can't wait until this season starts.
Definitely was a very memorable season. Probably right up there with 2007.
What I learned watching this is Penix can friggin throw. Holy crap those passes were dimes on the hands of the recivers
Last year was fun. Cant wait for this year !
The tennessee vs Alabama upset was my fav such a great game Hyatt had the game of his life
Georgia Southern over Nebraska is sadly not a big upset at this point
Yeah, I was going to say pretty much the same thing. Nebraska has a long road back to relevant, much less good. I think Nebraska might even have been an underdog if they had been on the road to some of this season's G5 big boys.
@@sethrogers8473ok buddy
It's still significant enough I'd argue. We paid them millions to come and get stomped. In a husker fans perspective, we got upset and was the perfect definition of our season under Frost.
Bro you did Liberty dirty by showing the game where we got blown out by NMST but not the games where we beat Arkansas or BYU 😂
Eh, I'm a BYU fan and we already kinda sucked at that point. Great win for you guys though especially given the scoreline. Your program is looking up!
As an LSU fan that LSU Bama game will live in my memory for a long long time
The Sun Belt came to PLAY last season. App State, Marshall, Georgia Southern, the list goes on of upsets
Nice and what about the almost upsets for 2022?
It would be fun if you made a video about the best games of the season
That Delaware-Navy game still left a sour taste. Couldn't believe they lost to the Blue Hens
I swear Appalachia State will always be that character that nobody pays any attention to until they come in the clutch at the most important battle for their soldiers.
Crazy how a lot of these teams got upset early in the year and then later got redemption with an upset of their own.
Oregon losing to UW was the highlight of the season for me
Why did you have to remind me of that Washington and Oregon game. That shit had me STRESSING 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Always love the underdog upsetting an big 5 conference team..especially on their home turf..
These were massive upset in college football history straight facts 💯
I can't believe the Miami MTSU game, but then again I can. Everything that could go wrong went wrong for Miami.
15:50 was my favorite game this year 😁
It’s my third favorite
I love upsets it’s what makes college football 💯
Haven’t watched the video and already know that Marshall - Notre dame is going to be on here
Worst day of my year

I was at that game. Not a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon lol.
The Year of Upsets. I know we say that every of years but if you look at the Stats, I believe 2022 was the most Upsets in a year. I know it is for BCS, but it maybe 1st or 2nd for all time. Great Video btw. Can't wait for 2023's Highlights.
2007? lmao educate yourself
@@jupitersjumpman5323 only thing I remember vividly about that season is BSU upsetting my favorite team 😑😑😑😑😑😑
Hilarious that Tenn beat alabama after 10 plus years only to get beat down by the game cocks later
As a South Carolina fan, you still have to respect the fact that they beat bama. Although they badly lost to us, they took down freakin bama, and that deserves some credit.
How about that HERD? I was there in South Bend to watch my Marshall Thundering Herd squad take down the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. What an amazing day and a great game.
That Delaware guy should have gotten lit up for that salute. Even if he is rotc or national guard, you dont do that at the Navy field. Especially out of uniform!
I was at the florida utah game. My favorite football game i’ve ever been too.
New Mexico State and UConn making bowl games, Tulane wins a new years six bowl. These are signs of the apocalypse 😂
This past season had the most upsets I can remember. I had no clue besides Georgia who would get to playoff. And wait until 2024 when we have to pick 12 instead of 4....oh boy!!
The commentators for the middle Tennessee vs Miami game 😭😭😭
Wow so many upsets in 2022 season what a crazy year for college football! 2023 season lets see what you got!
The Georgia southern game was the nail in the coffin for Scott frost
How do you miss Tulane over USC??
No one is going to stay "elite" with NIL and transfer portal.
kansas st beat oklahoma st 48-0. biggesy margin of victory for a team outside the top 10 vs a top 10 team
im a lil surprised Tulane/USC wasnt included but good vid still!!!
Middle Tenn receiver quick as hell 7:13
Wow ...he really is
Oh hey look, it's Appalachian State. A decent chunk of these were road games, too. That's even more surprising. Boy, the commentators were having a ball in the Mid Tennessee vs Miami one. xD What an interesting year it was for teams ranked #6.
Week 2 was crazy
