  • Dan is the HeavyD in Morgan county. Anyone that has lived in Morgan has been saved by Dan and his wife or his family at one point or another. He has been more of a hero to all of us younger guys that grew up with his kids. You can actually hear how much of an influence he is by listening to all those who mimic his classic Morgan accent. What an incredible video! The world is better as a whole that those men are still around (btw the “other man” is just as good of a guy, too bad his story was untold but that should confirm what a good guy he is by not wanting the spotlight). I’m super happy that I now know Dave and Dan know each other because they are cut from the same cloth. Thanks for helping my Hero, I always look forward to ur videos!

  • Grampa John and Gramma Loraine were definitely watching over their son on that day. What a remarkable family. Thank you diesel bros for getting that out, you’ve made a lifelong friend in Morgan county. Both you and Dave have helped us more than you know by always willing to help whenever we call whether it be riding around gathering food in our pantry parade, or doing a flyby to a demolition derby(? I think it was?), to helping an amazing family get a very heavy piece of machinery off the mountain. Thank you.

  • That is just an amazing story of survival, and love for other humans. When they father called his son to say good bye, and tell him he needs to grow up now. I had tears in my eyes, so heart breaking. Makes me wish my dad was still around.

  • I live in Austria and every winter we are dealing with avalances where people got hurt or even die. Watching these pictures and the emotions of the victims makes me even more thinking how thankful we can be to know such guys who are helping without thinking of profit. And such guys are all over the world regardless of race and country. So let us make the world great again!! Thank you for sharing such a video! ❤🤍❤

  • Dave and Crew, sure, there was a distraction at the beginning of this video, one which has captured the majority of attention in the comments, don't let that get to you. We know this is an important story, that distraction does not take away from it, even though it might feel like it does. It's great to see these guys are all okay. It was admirable that this video ended on Dan. Great work, fellas.
