Disclosure: This product was gifted to me by the company in exchange for testing/reviewing it. I strive to keep these reviews fully transparent and honest. Flaws and short comings that I notice WILL be pointed out. What happens to the bikes afterward? I usually keep them for a bit and then sell them around half of retail which helps cover the time/cost of producing videos. I would love to do giveaways on here with them, but due to the legality and liability involved, I avoid this. I hope you understand.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!

Hey Chris, I watch both your channels, for at least a few years now. Awesome channels. Question for you. I'm looking for a E-bike. Since you have demoed several, if you would recommend your favorite, give me the PROs and CONs. I know you have done a few Vid's on them. I do like the ENGWE X26 & X24. I want a foldable, love the 2 batteries, and be able to ride most anywhere. I'm 6'2" 230. and travel through the western states. I camp, so I want to be able to use it on dirt trails and on paved road, and looking to get decent mileage. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the awesome content! Thanks Craig
@@craig4236 one of the best presentations I e seen
Your editing skills are awesome. Your mechanical know how and editing and cast (Jen, Gus, turbo and you) make this my fav channel even as a non mechanic type. Great videos without fail. Thanks man.
Wow, thanks man. And thanks so much for tuning in
Turbo has the patience of a saint ! 😼
Gus is a fun happy go lucky dog!
Yup, go Gus!
I'm serious you could start your own E bike shop. The king 👑 of E bike reviews.....
Chris you should go over what classification the bikes are. Class 1, 2 or three. Some states like here in California require you to be a certain age to ride a class 2, Or how class 1 has a speed limitation. look it up pretty interesting stuff. Great video as always.
I hella dig these e bike vids.. I like to adventure and these reviews really open up that worm hole of all the different types and capabilities of these bikes.. really resourceful and you show us some dope scenery, watering holes, and masterful editing.. came here for the gear head stuff..stayed for the quality and value your channel brings brother.. thanks.
also the state of Pennsylvania should hire chris part time for the tourism dept, his drone videos could benefit them i feel
I’ve been saving to get one of these and you got to do a review, so great! One of my favorite KZheadr’s and favorite e-bikes!
Another refreshing video Chris! Glad to see that Jen, Gus and Turbo are all doing well also. Keep those E-bike reviews coming please!
Thanks! Will do! I know some guys on here get sick of all the e-bike videos but it's great to see many of you do enjoy them. Appreciate the comment and encouragement
Another great E Bike video. Always look forward to seeing the GusMan😊
Always enjoy your bike reviews, as you do a real life test and give a well detailed description of the bike and ride.. Great work as always
Thanks for feedback!
Nice review. Probably been asked but do you get to keep the bikes for a certain amount of time?
With my body parts I would need a three wheeler just to keep me on the upright 😂 I do enjoy our ride with you 😊 I even, will duck my head from the low branches. So far I’ve not got one in the head😂
Might buy this!
What a beautiful area where you ride i am happy for caddy video 1.1mil views. Really enjoyed reviews
Yeah definitely lots of great spots to ride and check out in our area. And thank you, yeah I was stoked to see it break a million views!
This is the best E-bike review channel 🤘😎🤘
Glad you think so!
Always love the reviews. What do you do with the bikes when you get done reviewing them?
Fantastic video thanks 👌🤙👍👍
It must be fun to have so many trails to get around from town to town.
It's definitely awesome having lots of trails in our area. Nice to get off the road
Thats a great looking bike, I dont do bikes anymore, because my balance is awful, but if I did, I would look at that one, its looks like its built to last and the dual batteries and all round suspension are good ideas. Its a great bike, I can see why you were impressed. I got caught out putting a bike pedal back on from my girlfriends boy many years ago, because I did not know about the backwoods thread, it took me awhile to figure out why it would not screw on!. In the 60's a car in the UK called the Hillman Imp(a rear engine small car), had to be recalled because they got the threads wrong and wheels were coming off the cars at high speeds. Hillman Imps were made in Scotland by reemployed ship builders, so the build quality was not the best. The Imp was a good car and did well on the rally circuit, but it was poorly put together at the start, a bit like the Delorean.
Thank you, nice scenic run two batteries for these bikes good decision. Keep on making very good entertainment
Just saying hi to you all from Michigan love all the videos can't wait for a will it start and drive for the other channel
You da man!
I like it. It's kind of funky looking. Although for the seat post battery they should have gone with a L plug on one of the sides of the seat post. Would have given more clearance.
What was the range? How long to charge? Maybe I missed that?
What a nice video . Gus,Turbo and the your good filming the scenery made me like and subscribe
I've said it before, "I have ZERO intentions of buying an E-bike. I prefer the OG pedal-only bike I have known all my life", but nonetheless, I LOVE watching NNKH2's reviews of these bikes all day, every day!
I thought that, too. I'm almost 66 years old. I'm a purist, until someone rides a Trek ebike someone could say that. Heaven on earth, I don't have $7000 or I'd get a sur Ron. 🤑
So do you keep the e bikes or do you sell them? or do you give them away to family?
we need a whisper thru the woods shirt
Great job! E bikes look like fun.
I'm loving these eBike videos. I'm still curious as to which is your favorite and recommended bike.
what do you do with all these bikes you review?
Cool video!!! Thanks Chris!!! The shots of that train trestle were stunning. I've been looking at buying an electric bike soon and really appreciate these reviews. I am disabled and my wife also has trouble walking so I am going to do some more research on this bike. We are going on a Route 66 Road Trip cruise in about a month and one of the stops is at the Chain of Rocks bridge over the MIssissippi. It is an old RT 66 crossing that has been abandoned for over 40 years and they converted it to a pedestrian/bike trail. I really want to walk out and see it in person but I am thinking it will be way too far for my wife and I to walk. I am wondering if I had a bike like this that would fit in the trunk of my car, and it has a seat in the back for a passenger, maybe it would work for getting us both out there on that bridge. I wouldn't go very fast with her on it. Maybe like 5 MPH or something like that. Would sure beat walking, especially since I can't walk 1,000 feet without having to sit down and it's at least 1/2 mile out and back from the parking lot for this bridge.
Thanks for checking the video out and awesome to hear that you enjoyed it. Yeah and ebike like this would be really useful and fun on your road trip. If you're worried about space, some of the smaller folding ones with 20-inch wheels can be nice. Much more compact and lightweight. One tip I can say is to remove the battery when you are stowing it so it's much lighter
@@NNKH2 Thanks for the response. Yeah I was thinking I would have to remove both batteries to make it light enough to lift into my trunk. I went to their website and it gave dimension measurements for when it's folded up so I'll have to get my tape measure out and see if it will fit in my trunk. Looks like a solid bike and I like the fact it has suspension on both ends.
Where are you getting on the trail that goes over neshaminy creek? I’m actually local to you and it’s cool watching your videos and finding spots to ride that I’ve never rode before.
I got on at woodbourne rd
How does it fold and big is it when folded, will it fit in a compartment of an RV, thanks for another great video
It folds down the middle. With the larger wheels of this one it might be a tight fit on an RV compartment
What do you do with all these bikes after testing?
I was thinking the same thing
Good morning Chris and Jen!
Morning!
Like the reviews never feels like you’re trying to sell it to us, I look forward to your reviews thank you
I agree with you..
if only the E bikes didn't cost an arm and a leg....great video Chris, always entertaining, and informative
when u say "hey guys" idk why but i always expect u to say "Hey guys, chrisfix here" lol
What do you think of the padded seat and no foot pegs? Otherwise seems pretty great and can be folded.
I suppose they wouldn't be too hard to add on but yeah it should have some kind of foot pegs
I see another video with this bike in the future. I bet this one gets the miles
Really enjoyed Gus-cam.
Great video! As always. Do you think this bike can handle some mountain bike trails?
Thanks for another e-bike review. The only thing that I would have done different is put the passenger seat on the other way around.
Have you had a chance to try the bosh drive system? They kinda seemed weak sauce. GF rented one this weekend and was not too impressive. It was a mid drive so shifting did help it a bunch.
No I have not tried one of those yet
Always love your videos Chris, but I was wondering what do you do with all these E-Bikes... can you spare your least fav to a bro... lol You must have a garage full of them.. ha
Great review! Which app are you using on the phone?
Chris, where is that arched bridge from which you were droning?
Near Playwicki park
@@NNKH2 thank you for letting me know, It’s a Beautiful spot. And thank you for all of your hard work, my wife and I really enjoy all the content that you and Jen produce. You both are extraordinarily hard working and talented.
Another Great Review! 2 questions: . . . 1. What do you do with all these bikes? 😄 Send em back, or sell em? - Just curious 2. What are your thoughts of the almost weekly reports (in NY/NYC area) of fires from these batteries (so they say)? I think it’s common sense that if they’re overcharging these e-products (bikes, boards, scooters, etc.), that something will happen. Keep up the great stuff! 😎
Gus man adventures? Should have his own channel, The dogs (eye)! Great bike this one. Looking forward to Jens video now. Regards from UK.
im sure you told us, but what phoneholder is that? any good? maybe do a test of good phone holder for touring and ebike? you always seem to find some gnarly places to test em :D
Yay!! Gus!!! ❤
Hey I’m curious if you use a bike lock and if so which one?
Yes I use a regular old cable combo bike lock. I know they are not very secure but I try to only leave the bike locked in low risk areas
Nice video mate How many miles did it give you on a full charge ?
Thanks. And the seat battery was not fully charged so I couldn't say exactly how many miles it would get however I think it's probably good for at least 40 depending on how heavy you are and how fast you going. Of course paddling hard the whole time increases the range dramatically
Very nice! hey is that a Native owned casino? Where about is it located?
No I don't think it's native American owned. It's called Parx
I noticed on the website they do not sell a replacement seat post battery for this bike so when the needs replacing how are you supposed to get a new one
Too heavy to lift up residential stairs, but another awesome review and video production Chris .
nice drone shot!
Thx
Not gonna lie, I am looking to purchase my first e-bike (at 60) but I am here for the doxie content :)
I enjoy your bike reviews Chris but this one is lacking some detail unless I missed it. Total range as you tested it? Total weight? I think it’s about 108lbs with batteries. So much for folding it up and easily tossing it in the back of your car or SUV. What’s the purpose of a folding bike if you can’t pick it up?
You're right this one was less detailed than usual. I didn't do an entire range test because the battery was not fully charged beforehand so it would not have been fair or accurate. The seat post battery that is
Nice review, it's too bad they designed the minimum seat post height for 6' rider.
i like this bike Best out of all the outhers you have tested .... 💯💯
Great looking bike for the price.
Agreed!
Ordered one of these yesterday...
Impressions?
That looks like a high seat post. That’s the lowest this goes? Do you think a shorter rider could comfortably ride a bike like this? I’m 5’6.
link not working
After 7 months, how is the bike? Is it everything ok?
Same display as the AR Kepler.. Except the Kepler has 3 screen choices.
That's a very cool looking eBike. Just wish it came with a 60 amp hour battery.
How much does it cost
Hi Chris
awesome video, you got a New follower.
I am a big fan of Engwe. I own a dual battery M20. But I think Engwe missed the mark with the X series. They are to tall for most people to ride. To heavy for most people to fold. Dual batteries and large amp hours are great but there are better ways to achieve 30 amp hours these days.
lol your hear 99 Ballons of NENA in German ^^ btw much greetings from germany 😉
99 Luftballons was a big hit in the US. My German friend was very surprised to learn we know it here. Surprisingly the English version (99 Red Balloons) didn't even chart in the US.
Ahh cool, thx for the Info 😉@@TheOtherBill
Walks into the casino. Bet's the bike on a bad hand. Walks home. Lol. The only thing I was say is I would reverse the seat and have the slab slide to the back to people riding with you don't slide off. But I'm not sure the value unless it was a hamster of weighing down the bike with another person. I guess in a pinch it would be ok.
99 red balloons, first record I bought
I really like this ebike. But I'm not a fan of fat tire 4.0 or above.
At this point I would only entertain an e-bike that has dual motors with the required power to get up a hill. Dying on hills is a complete fail for future e-bikes in this price category.
11:55 amazing shot of the bike on the bridge, nice work! Curious if you've ever considered Epidemic Sound or Likd for your videos?
Thanks, and no but I should probably look into one of those services
@@NNKH2 Please don't start putting music in your vids! No matter what music you pick half the audience will hate it. They're great as they are.
First I saw this wanting a bike. Now I want a sausage dog 😂
Are you guys having good luck with these? I'm in the market. 😁
No triangulation on the frame. It's going to crack.
A lot of bike frames out there that look very similar to this, are they out there cracking ? I feel like there would be an established reputation of this happening. Interesting comment though, serious problem if your right.
@@LORFCASTER I agree, it's not the only one out there. It's a design I don't trust.
Not too good of a video too much left out , but it be cool if you do a bike 🚴 giveaway on one of them free E Bikes 🚴 everyone gives you No big deal either way Bud …
Passenger seat is just a pad to cover ugly rack. Not really meant for people..
Отличие этой модели от engwe x26 только в крлесах? kzhead.info/sun/irKSmbecmqKfaGg/bejne.htmlsi=Psk3pQdJyULjN750
Man you need to start an E-bike giveaway. For every item you buy gets you one chance to win a E-bike. You got to have 50 of them taking up room somewhere
i agree with this, but i believe some he has to return and some he can do whatever with. But also the link in the description that takes you to the bike site recognizes him as the beneficiary of some commission i do believe, so it helps him out if we purchase a bike
Would you ever consider of doing a ranking system for these or at least a big Pro/con board
Junk.
Can I be the 1st to say how damn ugly this ride is?
I’ll join in too….
wow this looks like a great bike .one of the best one i have seen so far!! Chris be careful when riding on the wooded paths in the late evening. Cane. humanity's first murderer could get you!!
