Most of those rocks along the shore (except the newer concrete ones.) They were put in during ww2. During lend lease, British ships couldn’t cross the North Atlantic empty. So they filled the ships with those rocks. Then they were place all around New York harbor and jersey. 😊

Great video as always Chris. Isn't that the absolute best feeling when you get just close enough to the shore you can smell it, almost feel it? Man I love living an hour from the ocean. I lived out in Mississippi for a few years and it was really tough not being able to just take a ride, even on a whim, to the beach for the day or night.. Yes, the Mississippi river is there, but man it's nothing like the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks for the great content!

That is one of the nicest e-bikes I've seen. Wonder what the range would be at 30mph? You sure have some very nice bike trails.
Yeah I really liked it as well. Rides super nice and a ton of power after unlocking it. I'm sure the range would be reduced by at least 5 mi from my experience however if you're pedaling hard the whole time then you can increase it quite a bit

thats a fun bike, thanks again for the great tour! as for unlocking the bikes? does that just let you speed on and leave the trail torque alone? Im more of a low n slow trail rider. maybe the occasional county road [gravel] in town are paved streets, but thats not any fun as Ive driven there a time or three ;) yup the North Idaho in the woods boy. Ive riden motor bikes n wheelers, but thinking about an ebike

Side note insulation in the garage will help keep you warm and will help with condensation but make sure they got in back of your electrical panel ✅
I don't know if you saw the previous video but they didn't cover behind the panel completely. They are actually coming tomorrow to hit some spots that they missed

Really nice looking e bike. Fenders would be good but would probably ruin the look. So what do you do with all these ebikes you review? Do you get to keep them or have you actually bought them? Is there a reason you don't mention what they cost?

Yes I did. My mom used to take us there as kids. Really brings back memories being there and yeah I stopped in one of the places for a beer. The tiki bar was slammed and had a line so I chose not to do that.

The only tool I suggest to everyone from snap on is the flank drive wrenches. No other wrench even comes close.

Does this bike use a torque sensor or a crank motion sensor?
This one uses a speed sensor

Anyone, I am looking in to get in to one these e-bikes. Are extra batteries available? If so, does anybody carry an extra battery on a bike cargo rack to extend the range? Just wondering if there is a flaw in my logic?
I got an extra battery for the magicycle I have and keep it on the bike on a little aluminum bracket. Works great and great insurance for extra range

Would be nice for you to call out your fav of all the bikes you have tested. Which one is your go to?
I'd rather a bike trail than a railroad. I'd hope the people using the trail are respectful of people who live along the trail. Possible to do aflatoxin ground top speed? Downhill really doesn't say anything. I have hills that make my bike do 53mph.. my bike can't do 53 mph on flat ground.
On flat ground it was doing 30 but I would say 28 is more realistic over a distance

Bigger gear in the rear means slower. That's for super low speed

It is hard to do giveaway when you do not have large income from KZhead etc. His girlfriend still works he cant make giveaway maybe down a road.
dirt is dredge spoils from keeping the channel clear and deep and such

Looks like you went to a mound. Not 100% sure. But it sure looks like one to me.
You only have to run your big toe through the front sprocket one time and you will always wear shoes after that.
Or don't stick your toes in moving chain drives while you're pedaling

But you're never going to get in shape riding that thing!
Better than sitting home on the couch. And more exercise than riding a motorcycle. Plus you can pedal really hard. Helps with the battery life
@@NNKH2 All that time you're spending on that electric bike could instead be spent really getting into shape by climbing some hills on a road bike. What a lost opportunity. You've gotta get in shape when you're young so you can stay in shape when you're older. When you get to be my age, you will regret wasting all that time on the electric bike with nothing to show for it except aches and pains.
@@HamJamming Its not wasted time if your enjoying yourself. And if you ever try an ebike out, you'll see you can still exercise just as hard as any bike. and cover way more ground at 28mph. No regrets in life. Hope that helps answer your concern. Also, im in shape and stay very active. thx

I agree. I often state in my videos that I'm a classic example of do as I say not as I do. I always encourage a helmet. I do enjoy the fact that it's not mandatory and we do have a choice. Pennsylvania is not a helmet law state for motorcycles. While I normally swear one, it's nice to not be required by law. Freedom
