@@perz400 I think a better way to put it would be, it dumps extra air and gas into the exhaust which then explodes and keeps your turbo spinning while your not on the gas. There’s no explosions in the engine when your foots off the gas, it’s all in your exhaust.

I will always love Mazda. They have earned my respect forever for being bold and developing and producing one of the most unique and beutiful sport cars ever made and made one hell of a rotary engine for it as well. They are a different group of folks at that company and I love them for it. They wanted to make something different and despite many difficulties with earlier models never gave up and gave the world the RX-7.

@@perz400 turbo is still spinning and fuel and air is still sent to motor even if lifted your foot of the gas thats what makes it fast when shifting or doing hard corners
@@perz400 I think a better way to put it would be, it dumps extra air and gas into the exhaust which then explodes and keeps your turbo spinning while your not on the gas. There’s no explosions in the engine when your foots off the gas, it’s all in your exhaust.

Really any car with an anti lag setup is gonna give you all the pops n bangs. It's keeping the turbo spinning and boost up when you close the throttle.
The rally1 WRC cars have really crazy anti Lag though, especially when they have a long braking zone on Tarmac they all sound like no other car you ll probably ever hear.

I will always love Mazda. They have earned my respect forever for being bold and developing and producing one of the most unique and beutiful sport cars ever made and made one hell of a rotary engine for it as well. They are a different group of folks at that company and I love them for it. They wanted to make something different and despite many difficulties with earlier models never gave up and gave the world the RX-7.
