Hey this interviews are great

I noticed after Mia said she didn’t like the word “porn” that Anthony doesn’t say it throughout the whole interview. He says “industry” or avoids it in generally. Mia herself is the only one who says the word.
i actually think it’s because she learned to kind of “accept” her past decisions ! like when things no longer trigger you as much yk?
thats such an interesting observation... this is why he’s such a great interviewer. So intuitive and sympathetic.
I noticed this as well! You can see in his face/eyes how he recognizes when she says this and I just love how he actually implements to not say it. It’s okay for her to mention it, as it is something that goes along with her healing process. It’s great that Anthony respected that and gave her HER space to say the word and not force it upon her.
👏👏👏👏👏 So true.
He says it at 16:55

I seems like she is really happy to be interviewed on a platform where the questions aren't loaded or awkward, and she is treated casually as a human being, so she can be comfortable enough to joke and laugh.
Yeah it's amazing how he's able to meet practically every one of his interviewees at their own level. Matching energy and vibes and all that. It feels very much like a conversation between idk, not friends but people who get along, even though it's also heavily prepared ahead and edited and not really subtle about those things either.

If you try to refuse, they say they can have another girl there in an instant. She said, sometimes her rent would be due or her car needed repairs, so she’d agree. @@waseemahmed2950 ? What
Years ago, there was this female coworker who was a good friend of mine, whose mother needed a medicine to stay alive. At some point she was not working for the company but we still were friends. At some point she had no job and she was running out of money, and she was horribly stressed about her mom's medicine and someone told her about the industry, and she asked me to be doing these things with her because she knew I was clean. I did not feel it was the right thing. So I took money from my savings to pay for her mom's medicine, so she never needed to do anything and of course, we did nothing together, ever. The good thing is she never was on tape and neither I was. Her mom stood alive for a few more years and then passed away. Now she does not need to do anything like that. In human terms this was the best use of money I have ever had for my savings. Now I know I saved her from the shame she would have experienced for being in the industry due to a desperate situation.. Now she has a normal life. After telling this story to someone, KZhead recommended me this video. I finally realize what se could have experienced if I had not helped her mom.
“You can’t pick and choose what parts of me you’re proud of” is such a powerful statement! Thank you Mia for agreeing to do this video, and thank you Anthony for making it! I had no idea until now that Mia was no longer in the industry; what she went through must be similar (not 1:1 but similar) to what Monica Lewinsky went through back in the day. The fact that both women went on to use their platforms for good and make a happy life for themselves is wonderful & I am so proud of every bit of both of them!
A lot of comments are saying “okay but why did her parents disown her?” Ya’ll really don’t know what it feels like to have arab parents and it shows smh. family name and reputation is a *HUGE* thing in Middle Eastern culture, which is really irritating because when we make mistakes we wanna learn from them. But in arab culture you aren’t allowed to make any mistakes in the first place.
If anything her family disowning her and distancing themselves shows that they do not agree and associate with the decisions she made. Its the most appropiate way of dealing with this from a middle eastern / islamic point of view. She is an adult and shouldve known better, honestly..
She is Lebanese and Catholics
@Reagan Pereira poteto potato, being a christian isnt much different from muslim culture within middle eastern countries. Especially in orthodox values hence why i used the ''/'' to indicate that. ON top of that she was raised in a muslim household, she is a christian currently. Also her being 21 is her being an adult. You clearly can tell what effect things have on you at that age. Also she said she wasnt hold at gunpoint but felt intimidated. Even then she could refuse whenever she felt like it. They just sweet talked her and she accepted the proposal of the contract.
@@ElephantseatShorts don't mind me just an Egyptian dude down here lol
@Reagan Pereira Yeh google gave me 2 sources on her family background, one might be wrong. But it doesnt chagne much honestly. Also even a 15 yr old knows that they shouldnt sign a contract without knowing what it says. The company isnt required to get her a lawyer, she needs to know the stuff herself. If we cant hold a 21 year old accountable for their own actions bcs they are "too young" where do we draw the line? Are 21 year olds allowed to have a house and pay rent? Allowed to drink? Allowed to drive? Allowed to have consentsual intercourse? She chose to do it bcs she thought it would be exciting. Like she said in the video, she only regretted it bcs it backfired. Its still horrible what happened in her life but she could have avoided all of it.

I love how Anthony is interviewing her as a person and not as a p*** star
So you saying a porn star is not considered a person? Smart way of speaking
I agree pornstars aren't people
JustArRandomChannel they’re saying that they appreciate that he’s not defining her life and who she is based solely on her time as a porn star.
JustArRandomChannel they aren’t saying that porn stars aren’t people. There is a stigma around porn stars and so they aren’t treated like human beings. They’re treated like a piece of meat which you can just fuck whenever you feel it. The person meant that Anthony is treating her like she has feelings. Thanks for taking the positive message negatively :)
Subconsciously, you will not even notice it at the moment. So, it's quite common to see that kind of view of people.
Coming from the future now that Ian and Anthony own Smosh *again* I feel like Mia's story about how you should read the contract before signing it, and if you ever go on to create content do it yourself so only you can have power over it resonates with Anthony's story with smosh. Wow, what an intelligent and insightful woman. This was a great interview. I feel inspired to keep going in my life despite my struggles because, if Mia can go through hell and keep going, then so can I.
I disagree with her view on Onlyfans. I think the whole industry is bad regardless. I've heard stories of Onlyfans models who felt like they were taken advantage of and had regrets too. And the whole thing about just being able to take it down isn't true. I know it sounds like a cliche but once you put something out on the Internet, it's permanent.
Yes, but it’s easier to enforce your rights regarding something you fully own. The law is so far behind when it comes to autonomy and being in control over your own face and body on the internet. At least for most OF girls, (except for pimps who own the account) they have their own autonomy over their work and are self employed. They cannot be exploited by a boss or corporation.
Not just the internet but in people's minds, there's a thing called public image and once you've ruined it, it stays ruined forever
When she talked about getting into the industry because of the validation that gave her, as a very insecure person, I kinda froze. It's scary how much I can relate to that. It's scary how many times my mind has travelled that path. It's kind of a wake-up call, in a way. That I have to stop getting my self worth from men's opinions of me and my body. That I have to start finding it inside, in some way. I don't know how, but I think I needed to be reminded that it's not healthy, and I don't want to end up doing things I don't really want to do just to fill the void. I did not expect all of this when clicking on this video but there you go.
Marina I relate to both this and Mia so much.
Same. Glad that her example is helping us even here!
I’m very happy to hear that from you! The fact that you are able to be honest with yourself about this says that you are a strong a person, so I feel like you’re strong enough to find that peace within yourself. It’s a hard battle to stop seeking validation from others, especially men, I believe you can do it ❤️ Hold ur head up high! I also hope some day we can escape that norm of seeking for validation and being told to listen men.
Be strong chick, you are beautiful.
Validation should come from your accomplishments, no matter how small. That feeling is much grander and long-lasting. Validation from people is short-lived and like a quick hit of a drug. Also, people suck and manipulate. You're heading in the right direction.

Several weeks later I see an article talking about why she quits porn, and after reading it I was in shock. At the time I was maybe 11 or 12 and never really realized how much some people get enslaved by contracts. I'm in love with the fact that he's not like other interviewers. He doesn't ask disrespectful questions, if he has a question that he thinks might make the person he's interviewing uncomfortable or upset he makes sure to ask them if they'd feel comfortable answering, he doesn't walk around eggshells when questioning, and he doesn't try forcing an answer to make the content more "juicy" for more clicks. But those behind it seriously need to be held accountable. Edit: I am NOT blaming Mia. She's so strong for going through all the hate for her mistakes. She is the victim here. And I wish her the absolute best!
"Don't be sad allah is with us,if allah is with us then who is against us?" _Dr zakir naik Erdogan also said this but I dont like erdogan he is a hypocrite.

23:08 I HEAVILY agree with this part. Contracts are supposed to be made to think over multiple times
Thats the best interview alive I’ve ever heard thank uou Anthony
I’m reading the comments here and they are completely different from the comments in other news interview videos of her I’m so proud to be here with people who are not toxic or rude
Yeah besides some rude people in the repiles, it's mostly positive.
Or just honest, not like her, only the fact she Made more then 11 thousand is a fact we can easy fact check.
its mostly people who agree that the things that people (men and women) go through is wrong and nobody should go through that (rape etc etc) and people kinda slut shaming mia for going into that line of work but really they just bring up money and not what some people go through during the Adult Films
@@strudel3200 but there are a shit ton of comments with thousands of likes who are saying men are bad and shit. (One for example is pretty much implying that men are the only one who rape and don’t understand what “no” means with 1.6k likes)
Because Anthony treats her like a human being, and Mia could express herself like a human being, not a doll for men...
I definitely relate to her when she says “I was overweight when I was younger and suddenly men are giving me attention.” Its a lot all at once.
Lol same, but in my case I'm a boy I think it's pretty normal to get people to like you once you work hard on yourself, men and women alike
I really felt super emotional when she said that. I suffered really bad acne and didn’t have the curves girls had. So when as I got older I started receiving a lot of men’s attention. It felt so validated when I got compliments. And because of that I got into really bad relationships and situations because of how naive I was. Super glad and proud she got out of that mess. She’s so cool and pretty
@@SanilJadhav711 We dont get attention for working on ourselves though. We get unwanted attention just for developing curves.
@@janethehuman Oh yea agreed, unwanted attention is bad
DOUBT
I had to supress a tear here and there. This was a wonderful and inspiring moment
Im glad Mia Khalifa changed for better and i wish her the best of luck in the future
She's right, I assumed she was enjoying her adult film life. I had NO idea she didn't want that
I didnt know what Mia Khalifa did until I watched this, I feel bad for the way she is being tossed around like an object.
@Kenneth Maclean Just because it was her decision to go into the industry doesn't mean she deserved any of what she went through
@Kenneth Maclean we was pressured to sign a contract immediately and she wasn't fine with it after, the hate and death threats just made it worse.
@Kenneth Maclean sorry if you lack basic comprehension skills, I don't think I can further simplify what I said :P
@James Varner you are entitled to your opinion, but do you not believe in compassion? Basic human decency? Helping others? What kind of heartless creature are you????
I'm feel like an idiot cause I actually found the diss track catchy and She seems like a pretty nice and cool person. I hope her life gets better.
Super nice and cool people don't lie about a company to try to make them look bad

She did 3 months worth of adult industry work, those who judge her are half the problem with humans in general. She has payed more of a price for those 3 months that she made the few videos she made than anything she ever gained from it. All those who judge her, be grateful your darkness is hidden away from the public eye, for all your sakes, I hope it stays in the dark. Mia, you’re not an adult actress you’re not shameful names scumbagss who would literally trade their life for a day with you if they could. There is one thing you are which is a human being. You have a good heart and regardless of what people think a lot of woman will be able to look at you and have someone who can help guide them if they seek your advice. What you did is no different than the mistakes we all have made, you’re a good person don’t forget it
holy ham i actually stumbled on this because i was interested on how the naughty actually affects the brain and also i had very bad feelings against erotism like extremly bad to it and everything connected but i have to say you both, anthony and mia, are amazing people.
I know this has nothing to do with anything but those glasses fit her face really well.
Wholesome
Perfect
it's better than most of the "compliments" she's gotten since she started
I was looking at that
Always have been
If it wasn’t for Anthony I wouldn’t have ever known that she’s genuinely a chill and cool person. I love this series.
ive seen her snapchatstory things and shes super cool
She seem so sweet and goofy
yeah she actually seems like a great person
Oh yeah she's amazing. Whether on roster teeth or with Phillipe De Franco she really just seems like a great persona all around
This isn't ment to be about M.K specifically -But an interview/exposé with a celeb isn't any less of a 'performance' than any other time the camera is on them.
No matter what, she is a human being and she deserves respect
Kinda like hitler
No in reality she is a slot😅
Yeah.
At the end of the day , we can't change the past. As human beings we will all do something or say something that on reflection we will regret doing or saying. Thinking about the past and worrying about people's opinions or reactions will make you paranoid.
y’all should stop hating on mia. she’s a person.
Many persons are hated on and I'm sure you don't defend them like you do for her. What makes her special?
