i love how this movie is kinda “batman” coming to realize he needs bruce wayne, because the lack of wayne presence led to the corruption of the wayne fund. It’s a really good lesson for him to learn!
Yes! First time I have seen someone else mention that. When he learns if that you can see it becomes clear that he understands how important it is for Bruce Wayne to be as much a superhero as Batman.

Have to learn not to underestimate people's reasoning, goddanm! But yes! I learned to take for granted Bruce's necessity to play a character of himself, but here is explicitly stated how "batman" can do effective altruism meanwhile cleansing gotham's streets. Which is something refreshing to see...
That actually a good point.
I thought it was also highlighted pretty well with the two iceberg lounge scenes. When he shows up as Batman, he literally has to fight his way in. When he shows up as Bruce Wayne, he is taken to the very top without any problem whatsoever.
I love how he just stops and methodically stared at everything at the mayors murder scene but he’s actually filming everything with his camera contact. Also, best bat mobile intro ever!
Watching it in IMAX was a blast. Literally

That fact that batman actually gets pulled by his cape in this movie is just great in itself cause it shows the people he is fighting aren't NPCs

Yet, no one ever thinks to shoot him in the face, the only area his body is exposed. Batman will never make sense in this "real world" setting, to me. There's nothing realistic about basically everything that's cool about the character and makes him so popular. That's just my take.
Also the whole vengeance and fear turned to hope thing was solidified when the first person Batman saved in the movie was actually afraid of him and said something along the lines of “Please don’t hurt me”, but the last child Batman saves clings onto him with a complete lack of fear
One of the things I noticed was how Batman made so many mistakes. As this is a younger Batman it makes sense. He gets hit by punches and shot by guns a lot. Also, the scene where he jumps off the police building. He loses his breath and gets startled. In all the other depictions the Batman he jumps from huge heights without a second thought. It’s a nice touch.
Yeah it is still year 2 so i really liked how he made mistakes (and the scene where he tanked 2 machine guns was badass)

@@Ben-T2000 He probably tried it as a test run, but never in the moment of an actual chase. It's like how you might have taken taekwondo classes and be pretty good, but the first time someone actually attacks you for real you would probably panic and mess up.

The way they portrayed Batman as this shadowy creature that could pop out at any second really convinced me of this movies greatness. And that was in the first 5 minutes.
I agree, getting to see how criminals react when seeing the bat symbol in the cloudy sky's of gotham was great.

That scene in the hallway with the guns lighting up the screen was some of the best cinematography I’ve ever seen and the best shot of the movie by far IMO.
That was such a great scene, our eyes could hardly keep up with the action, made it feel like Batman was one step ahead of things.... which he was.

The thing I loved the most was how Gotham was truly displayed how dangerous and almost hopeless Gotham was with its crime. You could feel how corrupt everything is and it’s perfect can’t trust anyone.
Yeah, I actually felt cautious while watching. Reminiscent of those late walks back home, where I have to keep a guard up in case something happens. Fortunately, nothing bad has happened... _yet._ But there is always that possibility, and I got that feeling with Gotham, that something bad _might_ happen.

I've always wanted the Riddler to be portrayed more of a serious villain that actually poses a threat, not just a second-rate joke villain. This movie made that happen. Riddler was terrifying

I don’t like how nobody mentioned that when Falcone died he totally recognized the Batman was Bruce. He mentioned earlier when seeing Bruce he can “still remember his face as a child looking down at him while being operated on the table”. As he was dying he looked up to Batman with familiarity. He knew in that moment. I love when movies leave things up to interpretation like that. They refused to hold our hand.

This movie is the perfect Batman movie, instead of trying to compete with Marvel and create some amazing action movie with caped crusaders jumping out of flying space ships they went down a lane that no one expected! The dark, gritty, rainy, alleyways with mafia esc villains and a young Batman trying to figure it all out! This doesn’t compare with Marvel movies because it’s a different lane, I absolutely love this!

You can compare any movie to any other movie, and this movies vibe is very similar to the Batman movies before it, especially the dark night movies. So.
The only difference in lane is that dc, like sony, struggles to make hero movies worth watching so they’ve leaned into their villains, as they’re more compelling

Cinematography with subtle, innuendos shot was top shelf as well. Batman/Joker franchise keep dolling out the best talents in film making. From Christopher Nolan interpretations to the previous Joker film. Keep it up. A lot of Se7en noir element in this film.

I also love how the riddler lookalike shooter at the end says he’s vengeance just like Batman did in the beginning. Batman’s reaction to that moment striked me as a realization that maybe he hasn’t been going the right way about things.

I was genuinely scared that Riddler had figured out that Bruce Wayne was Batman when Batman was looking at the wall of newspaper clippings showing Batman and Bruce Wayne. I was worried that this would lead to the reveal with Batman being surrounded by the GCPD, making things even more complicated

This batman felt more realistic. His mistakes showed that he’s still ironing out his flaws. I appreciate this movie a lot
I personally think that the adrenaline that Batman used after getting shot was the same stuff that Bane uses. The color was green and it made him extra violent

Yeah I thought it was a early version of Banes Venom as well.
I thought it was a super dose of "drop" which very well could just be an early version of either Bane's serum OR their version of whatever chemical turns the Joker.

When Falcone was being arrested he said "Don't you know your boys in blue works for me?". It then cut to Gordon standing under a red light. I really love details like this.

Two things you might have missed: The Joker's lyric, "one day you're up" might be a reference to Frank Sinatra's song That's Life,, which played at the end of Joker. And the mayor's son appears to be dressed in red and yellow, a reference to Robin (the scene is too poorly lit for me to be sure).

Gotham looked amazing. What a team effort. Between the special effects team, location scouts, production designers and and Greig Fraser’s cinematography, they made something really special.
I just can't get over how gorgeous the movie looks. The visual style is fantastic, every shot is pure art. I love the modern-gothic style. I'm a huge Marvel fan and don't know much about DC and don't watch many DC movies. I'm so glad I took a chance and watched this movie. It was fantastic.
DC has a lot of good animated film and shows with a few peak live action.

I didn't ever get tired of looking at that Bat suit. And this is the first time I really felt like I was seeing Gotham City in a Batman film. Burton's movies never felt like anything more than a cartoony stage set, and Nolan's films were just a bit too generic. This city was a character. Like environmental storytelling in video games, it wore its story in every moldering detail, every decaying bit of scaffolding, every crumbling edifice. It was a diseased city, decaying faster than it could build.
I seriously hope the cinematography wins all the awards

The film is a 8/10, They made a 3 hour movie feel like a 2 hour movie. That is how good it is.

This is the best Batman hands down. He's self-aware and down to earth. And we actually got to see the DETECTIVE side of him in a movie.

Another detail of this movie that I found very cool is that, on the funeral scene, after Colson get out of the car, the transition of body language from Bruce Wayne to Batman was an amazing subtle detail. You can see Bruce turning into Batman just to be ready to fight, even without his suit. Such an incredible acting by Robert. I really love this movie.

@@josuesantiago1550 I don't know if you noticed in the movie, but they said it was only his 2nd year being Batman. So if you didn't catch that, I see why you'd be confused. But I also think the fact that Robert Pattinson still looks young, might be a reason why they made Batman a little more naive and flawed in this film.
And it’s a sign of all of the growth to come.
It's not just that, it's way more dark because it also completely destroys the Wayne family name with Thomas working with the Mob and his wife being mentally unstable also opens the door for Batman to have a clinically genetic mental illness in a movie also he doesn't really save anyone and the whole city is flooded he stopped nothing. Emo Batman for sure.
@@Charles-ij1ow I mean tbf they did that in the Batman Telltale Games plus in recent comics* (not really recent more like 7-8 years) they hinted towards the Waynes being corrupt and having ties to The Court Of Owls. Which is what I think they're setting up down the line. so it will be like they were the ones pulling the strings all along.
The atmosphere in this movie was immaculate. The dark, gritty Gotham shots. Something I'd also like to mention is the moments where he was like a pseudo-vigilante where he didn't have the batsuit but was running around with a hoodie, cap and mask. Gave me major Watch Dogs vibes. Also the song "Life After Salem" is what I was thinking about when seeing this movie, very similar vibes
The photos that the Riddler released of the Mayor and the other photos later in the film were all taken from the same location, the riddler's apartment which overlooked the entrance to the night club. All the Batman had to do was investigate the location the photos were taken from. Which is 100% something even an amateur would have done. The Batman in this film is clearly a very talented detective so it's a bit of a plot hole that he never located the apartment.

You only came to that conclusion after the movie revealed itself, it's not really a plot hole if you only can arrive at that point by information that the film delivers to the viewers but not the characters

I don't think that is a plot hole. I thought a plot hole was something that goes against the flow of the story. Bruce could have honestly over analyzed the riddler's questions.
Just came back after watching. The movie is incredible. Robert Pattinson has done it. The chemistry between Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) and The Batman is just incredible, not seen onscreen till now, the greatest detectives at work. And the background score, that's just insanely good. The movie was more than what I had expected and what this trailer promised us.
I totally am ready to watch it again!
Only plot hole for me was, why the hell didn't they investigate the location of where the photos of the club were taken (standard stuff) - it ended up being the Riddler's lair LOL

I loved everything about this movie. Even how realistic the bat mobile looked compared to a gigantic nuclear missile looking car in other shows or movies
Yup. Story-wise, it makes sense too. The Batman here is still young, he even uses a squirrel suit and travels around with a normal motorcycle, so story-wise, it makes sense that his Batmobile would look like that. Though I think as he progresses and his enemies become more stronger, the Batmobile would get stronger.
I hope they keep it that way. I liked the realistic look of the batcave and batmobile. essentially using a hidden garage full of parts for a jet powered muscle car. instead of a giant hyper advanced nuclear tank/car hybrid and super clean, space age chamber. fits the grungy theme too
idk after the car chasing scene "Oz" is not even having a little scratch anywhere in his body. Not the most realistic movie i would say but good movie none the less.
I had big problems with aspects of Snyders Batman, but that Batmobile was my favorite version ever. I'm not a fan of Batman and his world in a very realistic setting. My take is, the aspects of the character that makes him so cool and popular are not realistic.
@@guybroyles48 Batman isn't all about fancy tech. Most fans usually like his character - the will to not kill people, his compassion for life, and a whole lot more. Sure, others like him only for his "fancy tech" and his edge-lord appearance, but those are usually the edgy fans.
Robert Pattinson was phenomenal in this movie. Hope we get a sequel very soon

I think what made this different was it was more of Batman, meaning Christian Bale was more Bruce Wayne. We see a Pattisons version clearly filled with trauma and darkness trying to do good. Bale was the typical playboy billionaire who decided to be a hero. This version showed Bruce being more of solely focused on saving the city and being haunted by the death of his parents and then seeing him react to his parents past. Great writing !
But that trauma (losing his parents) happened to Bruce Wayne…not Batman. A Batman movie without a strong Bruce Wayne aspect just does not make much sense. ( just my opinion. Of course ignore this comment if you were not looking for any pushback)
That typical playboy billionaire persona you're talking about is Bale's cover while Pattinson is still in his second year of being Batman, thus he hasn't mastered if yet which is why his inner feelings are on display and also reaffirms Riddler's conclusion that Bruce is Batman
The same thing happens in batman begins too, Bruce just wants to be batman and doesnt care about being bruce wayne and then alfred tells he has to basically and i think the same will happen to Robert

The Bats being a detective was awesome, his heavy suit sounded like it had spurs made the movie almost a western, Batmobile car chase was the first time in a long while a car chase was good mho. casting is great Farrel is unrecognizable!
Honestly saw his name in the credits and couldn’t for the life of me remember where he was. To find out it was Farrel was a trip

yea, me and my dad said the same thing, as soon as we saw Colin Farrells name, we were like "wtf he was in the movie????", then I looked it up and found out he was the one playing Penguin
The “adrenaline” he injects gets it own cutaway and it’s green. Made me think it’s maybe the Venom that gives Bane his power as Batman seems so unhinged after he takes it
Another detail I think I found was when Batman hands over the pistol to Jim, which before he said no guns and Jim replied "that’s your thing" so Batman handing over the pistol is kind of a way of saying that he accepts his own ways in justice ig.
Surprised you didn’t mention that the “adrenaline” was green and bears a striking resemblances to the venom that bane uses.
That’s what I thought too. There is also a storyline in the comics where Batman gets addicted to venom

Exactly, adrenaline injections usually take 2-3 minutes to work, whatever Batman injected worked instantly.

I was the only person in the theater laughing at the penguin waddle, so I’m really happy that you guys caught it too! Best comic book film reviewer of all time… also I love the bat mobile and the opening monologue from Wayne!!! “When that light hits the sky, it’s not a call.. it’s a warning.” “They think I’m hiding in the shadows, but I am the shadows”
the whole time i was whispering to the people I was watching the movie with stuff like omg, he's waddling like a penguin or at the start where he's squinting cuz of the sun because he's so used to the night and like other hidden details
now that i think about it, i was definitely disturbing people, SORRY ABOUT BEING THE PERSON THAT TALKS DURING A MOVIE
This Penguin may not have been thrown into a sewer at birth and raised by penguins, but he's been through the ringer more than once. You see all those gold teeth? Someone done messed him up. In an interview with Colin Ferrall, he talks about developing sympathy for the character once he saw the makeup design, with all the scars and stuff. That's what the limp was about. Like everyone else in the film, he's deeply wounded.

I love this version of Batman, best one yet! I love Zoe as cat women! The characters had so much more depth and grit than any other versions of Batman.
I like to think that when Batman cuts the wire and falls into the water it symbolizes a sort of baptism and rebirth because that's when he changes from vengeance to hope
Holy cow. That’s really good. One thing Batman will always worry about are innocent people. Seeing them suffer because of his and others vengeance caused him to have a change of oath almost yiu could say
It meant being Batman isn't enough, people are still struggling and just beating up villains won't get it done. Why would it be hope? The whole city got flooded. Everything will get worse.

I love how Batman starts off brutal and right in your face. He was loud and scary. He went to the club and went through the front door fighting everyone. By the end of the movie, he was more in the shadows. He even started doing that disappearing thing on Gordon (the best portrayal ever ). It was a really nice arc to see the Batman grow into who he is becoming

I see alot of people saying batman and bruce wayne are the same in this movie, however you can visually see how uncomfortable bruce wayne is without he's batman suit when he goes to the club without the mask, in this movie i can definitely see how mentally ill bruce wayne is, he is oddly similar to the riddler without his mask which we can see how they both have "diaries/ledgers", they both are terrible in social situations and when the batman confronts the riddler in arkham it feels like the batman is talking to both himself and the riddler at the same time, the riddler without his mask is the batman without his mask,nothing, and this movie shows how he needs to overcome bruce wayne and his problems, the batman lives for justice, while bruce wayne lives for batman, bruce wayne simultaneously needs to do good as batman and bruce wayne, unlike the riddler,bruce wayne can change things in his position without the mask, something batman has to come to realise and something i hope to see in a 2nd batman movie directed by reeves

I believe that the Riddler figured out Bruce’s identity. In that scene, Batman and Riddler glance at the security camera. I think Riddler backpedalled so as not to “ruin the fun” by letting everyone know the truth.

No Batman film will ever be perfect. There will always be something that’s missing that a lot of fans wanted. That said, I think this is the closest thing to a perfect Batman *film* to date, and actually surpasses (in my opinion) The Dark Knight. It’s fantastic, and surpassed my expectations in many ways.

i just watched the movie like an hour ago but to me this is automatically a top 5 superhero movie on my list. It has everything im looking for and exceed all expectation.
I love how the riddler in the batman is very similar to jigsaw, especially with that first letter where he says "let's play a game" which I feel is a nod to jigsaw's iconic line "I want to play a game"
This movie was amazing. My favorite part is when batman scares criminals when they can only hear his foot steps and then he emerges from the darks.
The opening scene when the spray painters were scared of the shadows when he wasn’t even there was also a great scene

My admiration, fascination, and love for this film has been multiplied ten times after watching this. The amount of attention to detail is astounding!
One of my favorite bits of the shot with Batman walking towards Cobblebot's car is the way the fire seems to fall while the water seems to rise. Heavily atmospheric

Riddler knew he was Batman, he knew he wouldn't die from the bomb, or probably even be there. I think the "See you in hell" refers more to Arkham than actual hell. In some of the comics, Riddler figures it out but never tells anyone because then it's no longer a riddle for others to solve.
Anyone else notice how when Penguin was tied up after he was captured by Batman after the chase scene he was waddling back and forth like a penguin, was a pretty funny touch

This… this is the Batman that I wanted. The batmobile is perfect, the suit is even better when you get a good look at it, and he scares criminals with nothing but a floodlight and some shadows. This is my favorite version of Batman, even over Dark Knight.
My fav batman of all the batman movies so far. I hope they do two face/poison ivy next. If I see a joker one more time I'd vomit.

I could not get enough of that suit. It looked amazing, especially the mask. I couldn't get enough of that Gotham City. It was absolutely perfect, exactly how I always dreamed of it. It truly felt like a character in itself, a diseased city, decaying faster than it could be built. You could feel what it'd be like to live there, the desperation, pressure from all sides, living in a miserable, leaky little apartment that cost more than half your monthly income. The dread of Batman would just be one more pressure. This movie had texture. It had atmosphere like no other Batman film. It made the characters feel to real you could almost touch them.
It doesn't do Batman or the characters better than Dark Knight or Gotham imo. It was good but not great.
If you've watched "The Devil All the Time" starring Robert Pattinson then you knew that he would do a great job. He was phenomenal in that film
The "I'm Vengeance" moment of that one Riddler minion could be explained when Batman was fighting the gang at the beginning, you could see one of the gang members recording the fight right before Batman fought the first one and then saying "I'm vengeance". The gang member uploaded it.
The riddler was such a refreshing villain. The character was almost a mix of zodiac and Lee Harvey Oswald
From what I heard, the zodiac killer inspired/influenced a majority of Dano’s portrayal of the riddler. Very interesting connection. The movie was incredible..

What I love about this interpretation is that he makes mistakes. He's still learning and developing. He's reckless and angry and outmatched by his first villain. He can't always save the day. There may not be a whole lot of action but most first entries of a trilogy are like that. We're gonna see him grow and become a better version of himself as the bat and as the billionaire playboy. I love it Can't wait to see what they'll do next
That’s part of the reason I loved it as well. I think he’ll start to see that really needs to develop a persona for when he’s out in public and we’ll start to see him be something other than just Batman even when he’s out of the costume. I imagine since we had so little of Bruce Wayne in this film the sequel will focus on that side of him so much more next time around

Saw interview with Reeves where he talked about Joker having a skin disease that causes his face to look like a permanent grin. I like the idea, it’s something different from the other live action Jokers. This is a great movie & can’t wait to see more of these characters & awesome world building in the sequels.

I agree that he still has work to do as an investigator but he also frequently found things that other people missed which still effectively showed that his ability as a detective is still exceptional.

That was the point, he made a lot of rookie mistakes that a veteran Batman wouldn't make but nonetheless the talent for detective work was there.

Yeah, I didn't know what to expect with this movie, however, after watching an explanation and seeing how much detail they put into it makes me appreciate it more and I'm excited to watch it again knowing roughly what to expect

This was a great movie. I didn’t want it to end. At first I thought Pattinson would be a terrible Batman, but in reality it turns out he IS the Batman. I really hope they keep making more movies with him and all the other characters/actors

Funnily enough, I thought he'd be a horrible Bruce wayne. That's the one thing Clooney has over the other Batman actors: he looks like what people THINK Bruce Wayne is like. Of course, that's the ONLY thing that abomination of a film gets. He was a horrible batman, yet sold the Wayne part. Pattinson does the opposite: he doesn't really seem like someone with a lot of money, but you could ABSOLUTELY see him and the batsuit without hesitation.
Pattinson cleans up amazingly well. Did you ever see pics of him in a tux with a tidy hair style? He looks every bit the suave, confident billionaire. I’m almost certain Pattinson’s look at the NYC Premiere was a loud message that said he had no problems portraying the character most people associate with Bruce Wayne.
He was scrawny as hell and unbelievable as a threat
The reveal that Martha was in and out of Arkham and Thomas was willing to do necessary things to protect the people (and probably avenge them) could be a nod to Flashpoint where Martha became the Joker and Thomas was the Batman

@@nikica3348 in the Flashpoint comic, where The Flash time travels to save his mom at the hands of Reverse Flash(speedsters can manipulate time), it created an alternate timeline where Thomas became Batman(hence work needed to be done) and Martha became The Joker(hence the Arkham reference, since Joker is regularly detained in the Asylum and even used it as his Batcave)

That Netflix doc with the neck bomb really got to me because there was no trigger warning and I couldn't remember if he had lived or died... made that whole funeral neck bomb scene excruciatingly tense.

The Batman is one of the best movie of this year...no doubt... I have never seen a grounded batman in live-action, even not in dark knight trilogy also... Matt Reeves made a comicbook movie worth watching again and again.

Did the Batmobile stall out when it was first being introduced in what became the chase scene? I couldn’t figure out if he stalled or was feinting to get the mobsters to run.
Yeah that's something I noticed too. I think it was a feint to get Oswald more isolated. But I can definitely see it as an inexperienced batman making a small mistake
How did you not pick up on how when Batman enters the crime scene and approaches the Penguin after the chase it just shows his boots and a slight jingle as he steps. It harkens back to westerns; Batman is the Sheriff about to deliver justice for his town.

Here is one more Easter egg. The green syringe in the end fight scene I believe gives him the same affect as it was syringe for bane (tolerance to pain, aggression, power).

I can't believe this wasn't referenced. That's literally the first thing I thought the second I saw it. Could lead to further stories with a version of bane reliant on a drug. Similar to the one controlled by uma thurmans poison ivy but more serious. Joker and bane team up in next film

I haven’t heard anyone mention the Batman’s eyebrows. The way the worn leather would shimmer just right on the brim, mimicking Adam West Batman costume having the eyebrows drawn on. It was a little over the top in some scenes, but I think all in all it was well grounded, and definitely a call back.
It was way more expressive than any of the previous film costumes. Which is interesting, because it's the first one that doesn't have a painted on or molded in expression.

The costume designers said they didn’t want the suit to do the acting for Pattinson like previous suits did. Instead, they wanted him to seem like a wraith, so the cowl is shaped like a skull.
This movie was amazing every aspect. Not a single character felt like a throwaway and was used perfectly. The intensity, and batmobile. Although I love the dark knight, this one might take the cake as the best. Some people may not want to admit that but the way they portrayed Batman and Gotham was perfect. However we can all agree Health Ledger is the goat.
This film 100% had the best portrayals of Batman, Gotham and most of the other characters but I still think the dark knight was a better film from just a film and storytelling perspective.

That's the thing though, Ledger was so good that it's almost impossible to make a movie better than that one. If the sequel has the Joker in it and he's at least close to Ledger's but the movie continues what The Batman put forth, then maybe we can say a Batman movie is better than The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight and The Batman are the two best Batman movies ever.

I believe if you watch carefully when Bruce is driving to the memorial service, when he passes all those protesters, you can see the Riddler with his face partially uncovered holding up his Riddler question mark yelling at Bruce. He pops up in the background multiple times in the movie.

(Bat signal shines in the sky, criminals look up and see it). "It's a big city, I can't be everywhere... but they don't know that". (Compilation of criminals staring into dark alleyways, dropping their shit and running in terror). That one scene personified what Batman is meant to mean for criminals perfectly.

To me I feel Christian Bale played a good Bruce Wayne and how he’s really a millionaire with the choice of helping people, Pattinson played a really good Batman that’s been hurt and darkened by the past of his family’s names and trying to prove to himself he’s good…..All and all it was an outstanding performance and reminds me of the Arkham Games
I dont like this emo version of Bruce Wayne. Pattison had the same look since his HP days. Also its a good story, but action was sloppy in some scenes. Penguin and his men shoot 100 bullets towards Catwoman and Gordon, and not a single hit?! Also DA explodes in Batman face, and not even a scratch. He should be also deaf for weeks.

I instantly thought that it was a great Segway into a sequel and brought big stakes but not justice league level stakes to the story.
I was so amazed by how real the city felt. I knew the routes and the corners and alleys like I lived there. I feel like I've driven those streets in both arkham night and lego dc villians. It felt amazing. I was blown away at every shot of the city, the large and the small. So well done. The mystery and riddles were captivating and actually thoughtful. The whole story was a riddle for the audience.
WHEW! I thought I caught tons of details, but you just blew that out of the park with this video! Amazingly put together.
Half way through it, I knew it was my favorite Batman, period. When the credits roll, I felt like I’d just read a graphic novel in a single sitting. When it comes to the character and his actions on the page, no other Batman movie even comes close to The Batman on screen. IMO.
The Renewal Fund wasn’t emptied necessarily, but used for mass laundering and for the integration of those funds. That’s when a certain Forensic accountant used his puzzle solving skills to deduce the true use of Renewal. Knowing that distinction makes Riddler’s discovery a major feat because such funds are audited by FINRA annually. This fund’s corruption went DEEEEP.
I went and Googled what a Forensic Accountant is and does…and everything makes total sense!!!
I think you've missed one major detail, I believe what Batman actually injects himself with is Venom, the same drug Bane uses for super strength, hence why its green.
Great review! You make me want to watch the movie again and again. Kudos to Paul Dano who played the Riddler. His blog at the end gave me the chills and for me is an homage to Heath Ledger's Joker where he broadcasts a video brutalizing a batman fan. I love Riddler's puzzles which is full on word plays and double meanings that are referred to time and again in the movie... "He lies still" was fully exploited with its various meaning.
