Hahah....nothing with brilliance. They just dont like the taste of manta ray.
📛😠 He would've gotten back MUCH earlier if not for the selfish, lazy, "journalists" who were more concerned with filming and getting views than actually helping!! I'd bet you every penny I make for the rest of my life that they are the same "progressives" who endlessly virtue-signal about their "superior leftist morality", while demonizing folks who don't agree with their increasingly destructive and radical political views!😠👎 ☑️ It turns out that NON-LEFTISTS donate more money to charity, AND do MORE to conserve the environment(recycling, not littering etc) than the hypocritical, self righteous leftists/neo-Marxists who are doing their level best to subvert and destroy our sovereign democracies! 👹👿👺

That guy is a hero in my book. His compassion for suffering animals bespeaks a moral and courageous person.
What a reward to see that magnificent creature free and returning to its home.
Definitely. Manta Rays also have the largest brain of any fish (which they technically are), and have exhibited behaviors highly indicative of passing the "mirror test," which determines whether or not an animal is sentient, so whether or not it has a sense of self/is self aware.
That dude is a hero and a leader. It takes some real dedication to get people off their phones and actually do something together for no benefit to themselves. What a great guy. I'm sure he's really proud and he deserves it. You notice at the end he's the last one in the water still making sure the job got done.
Life today people more interested in filming than helping
I'll second that!

Thanks for helping the Manta Ray,without your help,he most likely would have died.Thank God for the good people in the world.
Or ya know, just thank the people 👍🏼
Just Duffy that’s as dumb as giving all the credit to a skeleton and not the brain 🙄. The brain tells the bones to move. Without a brain there would be no movement. Without God there would be no humans doing good. You thank God AND the people.
Thank the people who took action and made a difference instead✌️
Thank them german bois
@@atinab.6344 if god is so great, then why didn't he save the ray on his own. Men saved the ray and it was nothing to do with god. God was created on paper by the Hebrews to create the religion named judaism. Today we have offshoots called christianity and catholicism. God is only in the minds of people who believe in him and only so because they were indoctrinated with this idea of god in their childhood. I too was brainwashed as a child by the catholic religion and only because they wanted to control you and have you live in fear of the church just like my parents did. I control my mind and not the church!
Everyone filming and not helping, including the narrator who has the gall to complain that no one else is helping. Thank you to the guy who took charge.

There was no need for more men to help at all. One of the things I hate during giving first aid to someone is when everyone is disturbing me in it, thinking that they can help.

For the life of me, I cannot understand people who would not help. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.

That man should get some sort of acknowledgement from wildlife authorities, he not only had to work against the weight of the manta ray, but also the weight of the apathy of those watching on as he called on them repeatedly to help. Great guy.
That's why we have a law in germany which can cost you jailtime if you stand around an emergency just for fun, and hindering the rescue. This Guy is a moron
@PGK 878 :D Yeah, i left a few comments here :D
@PGK 878 Yeah, since a few years. Because people would stop at car accidents just to watch, or hinder ambulances from reaching the accident on a highway by not opening the middle lane. It was bad. Traffic jams, just because they wanted to have a glims at death. So they put heavy penalties on it. Maybe i am wrong on jail, but it is expensive
@PGK 878 its 1000-5000€ and/or up to 2 years prison
When the ray gets home "You would not believe the day I have had."

One guy doing whatever he can to help this animal and everyone else just thinking about filming without going by themselves to help the ray... People will always surprise me
Yeah, so sad, really annoying that the person who filmed this even commented that everyone was filming and no-one helped, if he realize that, why didn't he jump in and help or gather the group and ask them to help. The apathy we se time and time again is insane. Still remember that baby dolphin that tourist killed when it washed ashore because people much rather held it and photographed it instead of getting it back to the water...

Mantas are one of the only creatures on this Earth smart enough to recognize themselves in a mirrors reflection in experiments. Very happy they saved him.
I don't know if mantas recognize themselves in mirror, but if they do they definitely not the only one. Dolphins do, several kind of monkeys do, heck even elephants. Dolphins, btw, not only understand it's a mirror, they actually remember there is one and go to it to check, what's painted on their back, so they actually use it when available.

What is wrong with a society that keeps treating the ocean like an all you can eat buffet, killing billions more than are consumed; just written off casually as victims of bycatch and ghost nets?
@@VarunRathi06 you are right my friend. In the developed world, people just seem to eat for pleasure and not to survive from day to day. This buffet style eating has reduced fish stocks to an all time low. Mackerel shoals used to be 3 miles long back in the 1930s but today the humble mackerel is nearly priced off the supermarket shelves. Britain wants to leave the EU so that it doesn't have fishing quotas imposed on it and this means fishing the seas till it's empty. I was surprised to read on the Internet that Goa in India has a fishing ban during July and August solely for the purpose of letting the fish stocks breed and when they resume fishing in September, they only catch fish without eggs. This ensures that there will always be fish in the Indian seas to feed future generations. Sadly, in the developed world, all the fish companies want to make millions of pounds or dollars or euros.
I wonder how old that sting ray is. Freaking fish nets. We need to do better.
Invent a new cheap way of catching fish then
There’s nothing stopping you from inventing something new but you don’t wanna do it you just claim to want to do it and sit back and do nothing if the consumer encourages businesses to farm fish ethically and not from the nets they would farm fish ethically because they’re out to make money and if we don’t buy products that are farmed unethically then they won’t farm those products unethically
