Man vs beast: Who is more efficient? - 6 Minute English
Humans are considered the superior species on Earth, but are our bodies as efficient as the bodies of other animals? Sam and Roy talk about this topic and teach you related vocabulary.
This week's question
Efficiency involves an input and an output. It‘s about the relationship between the amount of energy coming in - in other words, the food we eat - and the amount of the energy going out - the usual movements and activities of day-to-day life. So, according to this definition, which animal is the most efficient?
a) an ant
b) a whale
c) a human
Listen to the programme to find out the answer.

The human body wasn’t designed to be really strong, fast etc. image how much chaos it would be if a human would be able to break walls with bare hands or crush iron with bare hands.

You're welcome!
Why is this program called 6 'minute' English instead of 'minutes'?
We are using 6 minute in the title as an adjective to describe the programme. Other examples include 'a ten minute walk' or a 'two minute warning'.
@@bbclearningenglish Thank you so much for answering to my comment! Didn't know that was an adjective and being an adjective kicks the s out of countable words!
I have question
Say that
Cheetah is the king of runners.
