  • The first topic is Insomnia, a word for the condition of not being able to sleep or feel difficult to get to sleep. The solution for this sleep disorder suggested by Michael Grandner, an expert in all things to do with sleep, might sound counter-intuitive: if you cannot sleep, get out of bed. This method might be strange and hard to believe, but it is considered one of the most effective ways to treat your bedtime, especially for chronic insomnia. Instead of tossing and turning to get to sleep which will dilute the ability of the bed, you should get up and then go to bed.

  • The next topic is mentioned about improving our memory, which means enhancing the ability to encode, store and recall later information. We can remember things by applying different styles including learning by heart, visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic - "doing" and learning something. There are various ways to do but one way is drawing. When you draw something, it will help you think more with a contextual representation of the object as well as increase your intuitive sense by feeling rather than doing it repeatedly. Another effective way is using crossword puzzles and Sudoku, especially when we age and for people having Alzheimer's disease. It is a useful technical brain training that we can practise and combine with our eating habits. It is advisory that we should eat foods good for our brains such as eggs, spinach, and banana which rich in B vitamin as it provides protection for our brain and supports our memory function.
