no ofense but it does not look good, compared to some of your other builds. plus its way to small to even think about 1 horse, let alone 2 xD make something on the onsen so i can later blame you for my compulsive purchases, cm on :D

Maybe a idea for a later build a combat arena something like this but more modular in a way that the staff can quickly change the combat floor to suit various competitions like jousting swordsmanship archery wrestling or tests of strength and endurance

Amazing build. Every time I try to do an arena or jousting pitch it always looks like something a 4 year old wold drawl in a coloring book. You just really understand how to get the most out of the game. I use a lot of corner pillars and slotted stuff but it still just looks rudimentary lol
Thanks Pat! It's all just experience and trial & error tbh 😂 I've built a fair amount of terrible jousting arenas before now, some of which I even made into videos lmao
Something that I wondered about is if you're going to keep this as an evergreen series or if you're going end it with the end of this zodiac cycle.
I'll probably end it after I reach the one year point. I might re-visit it in the future, though coming up with ideas for some of the stars thus far has been quite arduous, so I wouldn't wanna keep it evergreen if I can't come up with compelling ideas that are different enough from the prior ones

Thanks Tacoma! I considered it, though wasn't a huge fan of the idea, I quite liked the hard stone aesthetic. I would have ideally liked to have regular sand in the jousting arena, but y'know, The Exiled Lands be rather uneven 😂
@@Eradicati0nn unevenness is less of a problem if you use Fence Foundations as the lane partition.
@@MadPirateShin That can be true, the issue for me was that if I'd used the ground below it, the southern end of the fence foundation would have been knee high, the northern end at chest height, and that kinda thing always irks me slightly 😂
To anyone wanting a usable jousting arena: make the jousting area LLLOOOONNNNGGGGEEERRRR than you think will be required. You can even place PvP flags along the lane partition to allow jousting in PvE servers!

Not a criticism of the overall build but the sandy arena foundation has never really worked as good building piece in my opinion. It's fine as a transition piece if it's partially buried in the sandy terrain but large areas built entirely of this part just look a bit off to me because the repetition of the piece is more pronounced by the contrasting colors of the sand and the stone. For this build especially it would have been nice to have some custom terrain building pieces serve as level ground to joust upon.
My thoughts exactly, I initially built here because I was hoping the ground would be flat enough, but even here it was just a little too sloping for it to make sense. A block similar to the mulched path, or just a grass/sand block, would be wonderful to have
