if they built a reaper camp on lagoon of whispers, that means umbra needs to move to a diffrent island
My thought was that umbra could move to occupy a currently empty house in port merrick, roughly SW of the tavern
I had the same thought. Either she moves to a new island with an element of merit in the community (old Arena Tavern perhaps?), or like mossy mentioned move onto Port Merrick since it's acquired some new real estate.
I'm hoping that with season 12, we get some world changes to tease what comes next.
i mean, it's pretty obvious that S12 will see the construction of these skeleton camps, since they need to be ready for S13
I wish they would just expand the map area instead of changing old places.
I'm still waiting on a snowy area for that glacial curse + plus every other winter cosmetic they keep adding
They won’t because of performance issues. Pretty old Xbox consoles need to be able to run Sea of Thieves, and if they add more areas, they will need to lower the player/ship capacity. Also, if the map is even bigger, the chances of finding other players will decrease as well. Therefore, they change the existing environment. Maybe they will introduce an icy season or something, where they’ll transform a lot of the map into icy islands and make ice cosmetics more available.
Maybe not an icy region/change, but a tall tale that brings you to an arctic area would be cool like shores of gold @@82Barclay

Hopefully these hints are a sign they haven't given up on the ancient temple in the sea of the Damned concept. If anything, I hope this means an awesome concept like that will be a part of a permanent addition to the game instead of a limited time story like before.

I don't love the change of the island look part... but we have to go somewhere. I think of one thing, if with the sword they want to bring back an arm with memories, maybe it will be possible to bring back people like Demarco or Pendragon...
The Orb (which is almost definitely Flameheart’s mentioned prisoner(‘s)) Is most likely those that were left behind when the Ancients went to the Sea of the Damned. It’s likely they could’ve been criminals unfit to travel, but I believe it’s known that some were left behind to protect the Sea of Thieves. If the Orb contains criminals whose dreams were crushed and were forced to stay behind, it’d make sense for them to betray their royalty and help Flameheart by giving away their locations or chambers.
Surprised this line of thought wasn't brought up in the video but Flameheart and the Reapers are probably digging up ancient tombs. If the constellations are related to people, and the hints from the orb are related to the contstellations, what's buried beneath those islands are probably Tombs for those ancients.
So, 6 years to get new armoury weapons. How much longer you think until they update the AI enemies you think?

I hope that Rare makes it so the Hourglass starts affecting the main game. Like imagine that if Athena is winning, then ghostly Athena ships start patrolling around Reapers hideout making it harder for you to sell without first defeating the ghost ships. And then if the Reapers are winning, we see the outposts besieged, and the sea dogs tavern taken over, along with the reapers hideout upgrading, and the longer the reapers are in the lead, the more fortified it becomes, and unless the Athena’s gain the lead, the Reapers Hideout will be permanently changed into a fort like a mix between the Sea Forts and Port Merrick. I know that changes like these can’t happen all the time (especially the Reaper Port) but I think that these could work as events, to bring people to the hourglass. As outside the curses there isn’t much reason for the average player to play Hourglass.

Plot twist when rare came out and said even though the community decided the fate of golden sands and pendragon, they already pre-planned flameheart returning and golden sands surviving 😅

My thought, personally is the tasha plot with the sword is going to backfire massively, summon something into the sea of thieves, and be used to hammer home the point they presented in adventures. The Skeleton curse is a test, there is no cheating at it, there is one cure, passing the test in the temple. Also consider, the cure is in a temple hidden somewhere in the sea of thives, is it not convenient then, that in season 13 flamehearts forces are digging up exactly that? Hidden temples, i think he's looking for the cure to destroy it.
Also, damn, we're going to lose lagoon of whispers? Wheres umbra going to move with all that? its a nice little island
The cure is hidden in a temple that is also hidden in the sea of the dammed, Flameheart is most likely searching these temples in the sea of thieves that are connected to ancient royalty in order to figure out where in the sea of the dammed is the temple with the cure, he most likely wants to destroy it
Yet we still waiting for the Cap'n to show up and slap Flamesheart jr in the shoulders and say "Oi lad, long time no see ai" like nothing has happened.

With how non-sensical the sword arc is going, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all a ruse. Maybe the pirate lord is aware that some pirates fight for both factions and is trying to mislead us? Maybe I'm giving too much credit.

I think the last "possible" change was more an April Fools prank due to the time of being mentioned. A red herring to enthrall ans enrage the players. Well, given the number of Ashen Generals the players have taken out and we'll keep on taking them out, some evil has to throw in the tiwel ans say that 'these Boomerang Pirates are making my skull spin, im out and never coming back." 😂

I love how the heroes are ruining everything and Flame Heart is over here like, "I am burning to give you a good story line!" Bro literally saved the entire Sea of Thieves story line. I have really been wanting a good story line. And let's be honest, no one was really on Pendragon's side. (Let's be honest he deserved it. The pirate lord isn’t a villain at least from a surface perspective, on the surface it looks like the pirate lord is the good guy and Flameheart is the bad guy, but if you dig beneath the surface you will see that everything the pirate lord does and say’s go’s against piracy, he wants us to all be friends, make alliances, care more about the adventure then the gold, and actively supports the arrival of trading companions and business to infest the Sea of thieves, but Flameheart he stands against that he wants to return the Sea of thieves to what it was always meant to be a pirate paradise where you take what you can and give nothing back

Doesn't matter . Games unplayable for quite a lot of people and has Been since s11 dropped. Even the ps beta was unplayable for most because of bugs . Rare is taking a HUGE L by not doing anything but pushing micro transactions

The whole Flameheart thing is soooo boring and pathetic. He feels like Chaos in W40k - whatever happens, somehow, he's always coming back, no matter how little everyone cares for him. How often do we have to teach you this lesson, old man? You and your reapers suck. Pirates do not kneel. I wish they would further along the Cap'n storyline instead.
