  • Florida native here. Spent most of my life on Airboats and they are awesome. When you turned “right” before the rain storm and the hull started chopping through the water, that is where you need to be very careful. You handled it great, but that’s where it can get bad real quick! Love the boat and the content!

  • New subscriber for ya , I used to build Airboats in Alaska, The more HP the more fun. Some ocean going airboats too, they ran on Ice N Snow too, Hard uses up there so it is nice to see you having fun young man.

  • Chris, I've become a huge fan of Blaster Surface Shield. It's not cheat but IT IS WORTH IT! I've been a mechanical, hot rod, tear things apart guy but more importanly a lake/boat/dock guy since way back. My various docks has squeaked and moaned over the years to the point where a) on busy weekends, me and my guests had to yell at each other in order to be heard over the steel-on-steel rusty squeaks and b) we just accepted that this is something we have to live with. I have tried WD-##, new motor oil, used motor oil, bearing grease, Mystery you-know-what and it all fades in less than 24 hours. But not Surface Shield. I swear it would be a great commercial to hit onesqueaky-assed dock after another and shut down the noise. I'm three weeks on now with no squeaks. Come on now. This is a good idea no?

  • Ran caddys all my life and your boat definitely needs tuned. 3k rpms should push that boat across the dry. I can tell it's not turning up when you are taking off.

  • I've never skied behind an airboat. I would imagine it would be different from the absence of the prop wash, the air blowing at you and less of a wake. I'm curious how much the skier pulls the rear of the boat as they swing outside. Can you feel it in the boat? I have skied behind low powered boats and know that feeling of being drug through the water. Fun either way, but it is easier on the body to pop up quickly.. Great video!
