  • I met Andrew Tate once, I was hiking alone through the Peruvian Andes. A moment came where I was about to give up from exhaustion, at that point Mr Tate appeared from a low hanging branch and called me a pussy.

  • You know, the best thing about this beta, alpha, omega crap is that it doesn't exist. The term "alpha male" along with "alpha female" was used for wild wolves. Alphas were leaders, omegas were submissive, etc. Later, humans found out that the alpha male and female are just mum and dad. Omegas, betas, sigmas, whatever, they don't exist. Everyone works together to keep the family alive.

    • Well, that was the secondary discovery. The first was the man who coined the term realizing that the wolves he'd been studying were living in a captive reserve. In those conditions, packs did form around strong males. When he studied them in the wild, he observed they formed around family groups.

      @ElderTechDragon@ElderTechDragon2 ай бұрын
    • It's worse than that. It turns out the term "alpha wolf" and the behaviors associated with that kind of wolf were terms coined from wolves in captivity. Wolves in the wild do not have that kind of social structure in packs.

From a normal everyday person to a celebrity speaking out about it, they will simply be met with an invincible wall of edgy teens who couldn’t give one fuck about the genuine information being told to them. All the fans care about is “haha this guy hates women and is also really externally cool which is what makes someone popular at my age, I’m gonna be like him.” It’s really sad because while it might just seem like edgy humor that means nothing it raises the next generation of sexist, misogynistic tools. And one of them will grow up to be the next Andrew Tate which keeps the cycle going.

    • As a teenager myself it is scary to see so many people i know mindlessly gravitate towards the strong, "smart", rich guy who they see as an inspiration. This man took the concept of "based" humour and is trying to actually apply it to peoples lives which is worrying to say the least. I have more respect for people like Jordan Peterson, who have somewhat similar views in certain areas but actually try to present logic and be reasonable, and not just say stuff like "women dumb" and expect that to resonate with young guys nowadays

  • This is incredibly good. I love how your topics are always in the moment and you can clearly tell that there is a right and a wrong. One thing that I feel has dominoed in the past century or so is the effect of our parents. Everyone’s parents put an even bigger influence on their kids, and I feel like it’s been especially bad for this generation because this is the end of the domino line and we’re like the big tower. Parents are starting to care less and less about their kids, either A) because they didn’t even want the in the first place or B) that’s how they were raised. It’s come to a point where there are people I know and love that don’t deserve what they have and instead of being able to turn to their parents for guidance they have to share their problems with other kids their age to be able to feel loved and respected.

I felt bad if i even laid down for 10 minutes after school not being “productive”. It was inauthentic, subconciously i always felt it, but i didn’t want to be out casted. If you even slightly questioned the ethics you were heavily shamed and gaslit into accepting this as the only way. It is literally a cult. Now i’m of course out of that whole horrible mentality, it’s sad that so many of the friends i know are still hooked on tate, no matter how much comes out about him all the time. This isn’t like emo phases kids used to have, this is harmful to the youth. It’s a cult and needs to be recognized as a danger.

Heard about what Leafy said about Keem that he'd sue him or something, I raised my eyebrow, but assumed it was just content drama and watched it anyway after the Content Cop on Leafy, I promptly stopped watching all of them, I realized around that time that they're all losers who spend way too much time on the internet (well, arguably Idubbbz less so but still) Im so glad someone like Ian was actually critical on those people and their behavior, as well as their actions. Had their behavior not been highlighted, and in the case of Leafy, had his own toxic attitude used against him. If instead I saw countless man babies on Twitter just saying "KZhead person bad" with zero elaboration I probably would've just shrugged and continued to watch them all. I probably would've been an older version of my bitter and toxic teenage self to this day. Edit: the only really good one out of the bunch is Joji, sure he was crass and vulgar. But that's the point, his character embodies the absolute worst the internet has to offer. It's to show off how _you_ could look if you're behaving like that, and you should be nice to people, or keep it on the DL. Because otherwise people irl will think youre way too weird and see you as a spectacle to laugh at, and not a person

Like how do you come to the conclusion that women want the 6s when I’ve seen girls argue over whether a guy is cute or not? Like every woman is a little bit different in terms of what they find attractive. Like the only standard I’d say is height, but even then I’ve heard plenty of women talk about dating and screwing shorter guys. The fact is the thing that truly makes you attractive or not is how much people gravitate towards you in general. Like if you’re fun, extroverted, and likeable, you’ll find yourself dating a lot more than being a dickhead, introverted, and bitter. I’ve seen dudes who are twice to 3 times my weight dating way more women than some of my more conventionally attractive friends, solely because they were just more fun to hang out with and less awkward.

  • Good take. Tate is a 'prophet' for young men desperate for an identity. An incel magnet. His charisma goes a long way and he's a good communicator, but his entire value structure is built on the back of materialism and meaningless relationships with females that will tolerate him for his money. Money is nice, attractive girls are nice, but a meaningful life is derived from deep relationships and purpose driven activities. He's the final boss of IG entrepreneur grifters, and he's finding his stride.
