You would hope KZhead would have sent him some warnings about his content before they banned him (maybe they did, but he didn't show those). They really need to work on being more transparent with their rules and communication with their creators.
Yeah, but also, if he's breaking the law...idk, I don't feel like they needed to
the issue is that both platforms are too big for them to hire enough people to have 1:1 conversations with creators about it, though I think that should be the norm. the issue is moderation has to be automated in some way and only receives scrutiny on the highest level, just due to the fact that there's over 70,000 hours of content uploaded to youtube alone every day. the companies wouldn't survive if they had to have 8000 people working full time just doing the moderation, and that doesn't even count the hours they'd spend talking to creators. as far as steve goes, I've just watched him eat big pizza but wasn't really interested in his content so I have no horse in that race. definitely agree warnings should happen before the bans and transparency is super important though.
Community guidelines, sure. Breaking US laws, no way. The police doesn't warn you if you rob someone either.
Nelk channel got in big trouble for crypto gambling, they made it public they would never do it again and cut ties with the sketch balls. Steve was aware, he did live streams full of people telling him to stop before he got raided and sent to guantanamo bay, hes been to jail, he chose lambo life. Edit: steve was doing drunk gambling CONSTANTLY with roo bets (guaranteed win accounts), they were prob flagged or he removed all of them.
He had multiple strikes
I just wish they would cite where the infractions are and what they are so people aren't left wondering what the hell they did. Shouldn't have to make a big fuss on twitter to figure out what the issue was
They wont do it because as more reasons are added, it creates a precedent that they’d have to follow up with their cash cows. If they keep it vague at all times then they can remove who they want and not be hypocritical
@@Pheatan the real answer.
if the rules are gray like you said then I agree with you that there should be a warning, now if he continued after the warning then that's on him.
He’s been getting warned for years dawg
Bro this dude got tons of warnings and strikes and made multiple accts to combat the band due to all his lame ass gambling shit. Who the hell feels bad about This?
I ageee!
ludwig is so smart when he uploads a video before stream or after, hes said himself its the best way to promote/get views but its seriously impressive
Different channel ….. Does nothing to boost other channel
Pretty fucking basic tbh
That’s been a thing people have done for nearly a decade Lol, stop acting like this
pretty easy when has people paid to do it all for him (not hating just stating how it is)
Stop riding (and whoever liked the comments)
i appreciate the acknowledgement of gambling above your means vs streamers gaming with money that is given to them. And the transparency of your experiences with the effects of gambling with money you do have but maybe isn't 100% responsible.
I agree, if your channel gets banned for community guidelines strikes, you should get three warnings and then a ban. I think KZhead needs to put a system in place so people can't get hit with all three strikes and the ban at the same time. Maybe one warning per 24 hours?
Get this comment to the top
Warning per week. If back catalogues can get hit, then creators need time to scrub
What makes you think he wasn't warned? That's ignorant.
Usually the case is. If 4 videos break the guidelines you get 1 strike. He had multiple videos that broke the guidelines. They can slap all 12 videos, give you 3 strikes on spot. I got 2 strikes quickly once. So I ended up deleting a bunch of videos.
@@stuwest5862 probably because a lot of youtubers haven’t gotten warnings before getting banned. It’s not ignorant when it’s happened multiple times already. There’s a reason complaining on Twitter has become the default reaction to KZhead strikes, because their customer service has always been shitty.
The dude got his gambling channel banned and then decided to do it on his channels. I believe he knows 100% the reason why he got banned. I do believe he should have gotten at least 1 warning letting him know and delete or correct the videos he got flagged for.
Yea idk why no one understands it’s cuz of gambling
Yeah I was coming here for all the comments saying the obvious truth that this was deserved, but it seems not everyone is aware of the scams that Steve been apart of
adin ross...........Jake paul.........faze clan..........dafuq do you mean
its cause he made a 2nd channel and put the .com link in his vid without blurring it out. A lot of media does not allow URL's to be displayed or mentioned on tv specifically. I think thats why they deleted his sht, his 2nd channel had stake or roobet website without being blurred out i think. Shark tank is the same they will not allow any URL's to be displayed on packaging of the products or mentions of it either by the people pitching their business. I forgot a couple more shows and as well as just noticing how always website URL's are blurred in videos
If you’ve watched his videos there are many things I feel he could’ve gotten banned for with KZheads standards. This is why I think there needs to be another KZhead platform only for adults and enforce KZhead kids to only be for kids vice versa. Idk how they would figure out how to do that but it would let more adult friendly KZhead content more relevant and not suppressed by everything has to be kid friendly content. Then people like Nelk boys can make their crazy entertaining content safely without taking a chance at losing their platform altogether.
Pumped, in the middle of editing and about to listen to this vid in the background!
I mean with all the confusion and greyness it's good to see youtube doing something right and actually taking action with something, it still blows my mind how many upper level things that should be handled by an hr system is handled through twitter tho.
appreciate you continuing to talk about the sponsored gambling stuff lud. between the stupid online slots and sportsbooks gambling is as prominent as ever to the youth and they need to be educated. You are at least making them think twice about it, thank you homie
that last bit with the twitter thread was amusing, love mogul mail!
"If needed." 🤣🤣🤣
Imo if you break the rules you break the rules. People always go off on twitch for making exceptions for their bigger streamers, I think it's good for youtube to not be afraid to not do the same for their big creators, no matter how much it sucks for their fans
i clicked the link prepared for a rick roll, my expectations were shattered in the best way possible
The problem is KZhead's rules are super vague as fuck that it's unclear in a lot of situations when you actually broke the rules or not.
@@JacobRakowitz thats clearly a virus link
Still angry abt alinity ngl
@@Sephiroso. I'd assume they want the rules vague. The more vague the rules the more it covers at once, the more vague you can be with your bans and rule enforcement. Probably makes managing people easier when you can loosely decide if they've done something wrong or right by reading a rule that covers 500 things with its wording.
Immediately when you said he was drinking excessively my mind went "this is probably self harm"
If i remember the story right, before the video and months before, he had a breakup I think it at some point around the video was taken said "fuck it' and started doing dumb things and that became the start of what he became now.
Its to cope with all the scamming he does. He is not a good person, just pretends to be.
@@nsbdbsbsbdbzbz8555 how does he scam?
@@jared5610 rigged gambling, NFTS, CRypto rugpulls And all then other bullshit
Oh I remember that Steve gambling clip in Mexico from some Ludwig stream where he talked about gambling. Or maybe a previous mogul mail
The end of the video is what did it for me💀 mans commited friendly fire
I think having a NFT profile picture is more than enough reason to get banned from every platform there is. But yeah, being a gambling shill doesn't help.
3:24 Fun fact: Here in Mexico gambling is strictly prohibited by the constitution, but this places pay a ceratin amount of money to the gobernment and instead of calling their place a "casino" they call them "Gambling Houses" or stuff like that, so instead of changing the constitution, they make the long way around it for more money. This also means that in contrast to the USA, there is no gobernment agency tasked with protecting the win rates, so you might be playing a legal, impossible to win machine, so if you come to Mexico don't gamble, because if it's bad in a place where they need to let a certain amount win, what about a place where you can't win.
You referencing whose line just blew my head off
man the longer i got into this video the more i liked it. from the suicide forest comment to the nelk boys. just pure honest thought. thanks man
"Healthiest man alive." my ass XD I do hope that KZhead does give him the reason for the channel ban... While I want gambling to be off the platform all together, I find it unfair to ban someone without providing a reason.
youtube has gambling ads. that will never happen lol
Ya if anything the Ads need to go people hsve a choice of what they click on but anyone who complains about Steve needs to open there eyes to youtube forcing u watch a ad u didn't click on and not allowing you to close it for a certain length of time. Now I say everyone needs to controll themselves so let whatever be out there but imagine youtube sold ads to heroin dealers and tell me how u feel when they force u to watch someone get high off of something ur trying ur hardest to not do. And tell u how clean and good it feels and where u can get it right now.

Another great day thanks to Ludwig
I love watching these kinds of videos, It really feels like I'm having an intelligent convo with someone without the excessive in your faceness of other youtubers. Thank you Ludwig.
Sounds kinda... parasocial 👀
ludwig and intelligent dont work too well together
There is no "convo" it's a pretty one way street. Which is fine because that's what youtube is for but just be aware of that before you slip too far in the parasocial sauce
@@m_uz1244 I didn't mean for it to sound parasocial, I just meant it feels way less produced than other youtubers. Which is better IMO.
4:40 moral licensing is the term you are looking for my friend
Apart from what the violation is there should always be a warning so they can correct their mistake
I'm 24 and my go-to drink as a teenager was Jack Daniels - I was genuinely just physically sick at that first clip - HOW ON EARTH?! In other news I like the fact he has to go through the appeal process and hope he comes out of it with a warning instead of complete deplatforming, would mean he has to put time and effort in as a kind of 'punishment' then the outcome would be the same, it would just make him more aware of his future actions
Coffeezilla & Some Ordinary Gamers did a full expose showing how he was gambling while still in the US on crypto gambling platforms that are illegal here, how he repeatedly lied about it, lied about who was paying him and he obviously repeatedly didn’t meet platform standards. Good riddance. Dude sucks.

That's the thing that bugs me most about all the sites like KZhead and Twitch - the NEVER specify that infractions. Just some waffily, nebulous PR bullshit in an email. He should just get his parents to start a channel, or someone he trusts, and he just is an "employee" for them.

Putting this journalism degree to use
There has to be something more for an instant ban that warranted it and we will probably never know exactly what it was. We still don’t even know why DrDisrespect got banned from twitch 🤣
Didn't he get a ton of warnings because of his content? I swear I've seen that before because of his drinking content or something.
Yeah
That joke about the points in Whose Line is it Anyway made my day
right? banger whose line reference for the zoomer audience lool
2 types of people I won't gamble with: Online Brokers and Magicians.
I wonder if it has anything to do with his gambling shenanigans.
I wonder
Nah I think it has to do with the content of his videos. They tried to do a similar thing with the other channel he's involved in, Nelk. I'm not sure how they got out of it, but a couple years ago they had every video being age restricted and I believe they received several strikes. KZhead doesn't want his type of content on the platform, for whatever reasons they may have.
Hey ludwig, What is your opinion on the youtube channel "Lion family"? It is obviously targeted to kids so vibrant colours are semi ok but like with how fast everything moves and the over reliance on quick jumps i'm certain that 95% of the content is pure brain rot while the other 5 is random colours with their saturation turned up to the max.
So we aren’t going to mention the Robert House of Cards? Coffeezilla I’ll and SOG are a must watch.
A Grand Seiko beautiful timepiece - nice one Ludwig glad to see a man of taste. Wear it in good health.
Honestly I think KZhead made the right call on this. The whole influencer Gambling scene is a complete cancer right now. Aside from the fact that most of the people watching it are going to be underage, it’s just enabling addicts and potentially creating new ones. The less of them the better.
at the same time if they were to do this too multiple big youtubers and not just him then im sure everyone would agree the lack of warnings and transparency are a big issue
youtube itself promotes gambling. they run ads for a ton of gambling sites lol
The sites promoted by stevewilldoit are highly unregulated and illegal in the US (like Roobet which is registered in Curacao in the Dutch Caribbean). Since he is based in LA and likely doesn't go to Mexico (at least sometimes) but uses a VPN its illegal activity.
Brooo Tosh.0 I loved that shit as a kid, wish I could rewatch it
Nice who's line reference lol
Because he scammed his viewers with online gambling (and potentially money laundering his affiliate code). Just my friends thought
Brah whether he did it or not, right or wrong everyone is doing it. The question is why is Steve being targeted and noone else.
@@d9637 who else? On KZhead? he promoted drugs and gambling to kids. It’s wrong and I’m happy he’s gone
@@HilaLeftMe lol seriously how about music videos and rappers who rap and talk about killing, gang banging and selling and doing drugs You ever hear of a rapper being banned from youtube? There are 1000s of gambling channels and even legit scams being pushed. Logan and Jake Paul and their buddies openly scammed their viewers many times and still operate. Logan Paul had mike tyson on and he ate a hand full of shrooms on stream Joe Rogan smokes weed and drinks on all his streams. Praise Lud for explaining this, I thought I was tripping
even tough I do not like any of the content that guys is making I still believe it is utterly absurd and unacceptable for youtube to just let him do his thing for a long while and then out of nowhere just ban him, they should be communicating with creators and really be more transparent, also should be warning people and asking them to take inappropriate content down before banning them
We really don't need influencers who promote gambling.
True. Money that isn’t even theirs at that.
i’m ngl. that opening line has me hooked
KZhead did send him warnings back in 2018 he mentioned in videos at one of the old bell house’s right around when the beer boot that he was so close to loosing his channel
What I think it was is due to his 2nd channel getting perma banned for gambling then he made life of Steve which was the exact same channel just re branded so I think him getting banned then doing it again basically gave them 0 options
Much respect and love Ludwig, but Steve was definitely charitable before his gambling started
Lud just loves to virtue signal. And also loves to radicalize his fanbase, while being a white knight. Not poggers at all.
The weird insults kinda put me off from this video. Don't get me wrong, I've never watched the beer guy in my life but lud is just being weirdly hostile

Their cruise ship video was the only one i ever watched and that was enough to let me know what kind of guys these are lol BUT no one should have their shit cut off like that without explanation or prior warnings to something they are doing wrong.
I assume he got banned for promoting dangerous behaviour akin to self-harm. Downing an entire bottle of Jack Daniels in under a minute could certainly lead to alcohol poisoning in most people. It could have been because of the gambling but the whole alcohol thing seems a lot more clear cut. The fact that he didn't get a warning before getting banned is pretty dumb though.
he doesn't really upload alcohol videos anymore. Those are just ehat Kickstarted his career.
I don't really watch steve but I know that he doesn't upload alcohol related videos now he just gives money away lol

He went to Compton and gave away thousands of dollars in electronics for communities who weren’t as progressive as other cities. He went to Mexico and gifted people houses and rented apartments for others with enough money for a years rent. But, the whole gambling thing is very iffy.
Coffeezilla did a great series about stevewilldoit scams.

Ludwig: "KZheadrs getting canceled doesn't really affect them" Tobuscus: .........................
Logan fought his way back up. He is truly someone completely different and that’s why he is bigger than he ever was.
The conversation Steve had with Coffeezilla shed a lot of light on the topic. Young guy, no real metric on whether the gambling antics he was doing were good or not. Surrounded by yes andys.
i see ludwig is mimicing penguinz0 with this news-like stuff
Guy looks like a budget Gronk.
okay start the stream :3
You can tell Ludwig is afraid of getting canceled in this video. His genuine “reaction” to some of the clips with Steve and Nelk seem to be not genuine, combined with his nervous laughter which I think means “I hope the KZhead gods don’t frown on me for discussing this” makes the whole video seem strange to me. It feels like the way he commentated over this video, KZhead is over his shoulder waiting for him to slip up.
cause steve and nelk are super racist and most normal people dont like them
Talking down on two channels that blow yours out of the water. Jealousy is a sad thing to have
This happened to me just a few days ago, I made a personal youtube account to just make Vlogs. One week after my first ever video, the channel was banned due to "spam" After a few days they overturned it.
I'm not complaining, scammers like Steve need to learn that youtube isn't their haven, and if what Steve says is true, that he has "no idea all of this is harmful/is a scam", then I dont think youtube can trust him to be smart enough to follow TOS. Creators need to be careful of who pays them, you shouldnt just take money from anyone without thinking there would be consequences.
Bruh, if even Ludwig who's career is centered around KZhead had to take an hour into looking at the ToS and the best he could come up with is "it's a whole big grey area" meaning Ludwig himself isn't entirely sure the exact reason why Steve was banned, then that's an issue with KZhead and their ToS.
He didn't even know he was doing anything wrong until Coffeezilla called him. You'd know if you saw that video that Steve says none of his friends said anything about it. And I believe him. Steve isn't a scammer, he just likes to have fun and his idea of fun can cross the line but it's never with ill intent.
KZhead only kicks people off their platform when it personally offends them. I see many many KZheadrs who promote harmful content still exist on KZhead’s platform because KZhead is like ‘meh’
4:50 i keep watching this part back because of the hand movement you did while saying "sucking". i feel kinda dirty ngl
i like these videos since it makes me feel in tune with some drama going on since i deleted twt
you also do all the research for us
There needs to be some kind of warning before a permanent channel deletion. If KZhead is giving you warnings as you upload and you continue to ignore that and produce the same content, that's fine. If you have a backlog of content that all suddenly gets pulled up for review at once, and you get banned out of the blue (from your perspective) without a chance to edit that content and remove the offending material, then that's a broken moderation system.
I fundamentally disagree with _any_ ban, of literally anyone at all without an explicit reason given. KZheads total lack of transparency is absurd*, and frankly should be illegal. If you set up shop in a managed building, rent or buy a place, etc, there are laws that give you reasonable set of rights so they cant just come round and kick you out for arbitrary reasons. Yes, the situation isnt exactly analogous, and yes even in real life there are major issues, but just giving a reason that can be challenged is the absolute least a major platform owner should be mandated to do. I dont really care about this KZheadr in particular, but this kind of thing impacts lots of creators and puts peoples lively hoods at risk. *This doesnt just apply to creators either, the fact that shadow banning is the default is utterly ridiculous. I can not be certain this comment will get through, nobody really can, write anything with some controversial words in it and you may run afoul of a filter and your posts wont actually be online. KZhead doesnt tell you this, you can only find out by double checking their existence in private windows and the like, you will never have any idea why your posts failed to get through or have any means to correct yourself. As someone who swears quite liberally in casual conversation it took me months to realize that great chunks of anything I posted never actually appeared to anyone else. For a long while Id mostly just been talking to the algorithm alone... its f***ing dystopian and has broad chilling effects on often essential conversations.
Thank you for making this comment. We now live in a social media world, so everyone should have the right to be in any platform, and the right of freedom of speech

Yeah, Steve was pretty funny. turned his channel into a Party/Charity channel, quite the odd combo. Basically every video he would give things away, buy things for his friends, buy houses and cars for random people. Every video, but he would also at some point in the video get drunk, and sometimes gamble. The whole partnership with Nelk and the UFC involves a lot of gambling. Nelk and Steve definitely have built their own stuff, their merch is renewed with new waves multiple times a year. Which they plug every vid, plus they also have a seltzer company. They're just greedy AF and will do anything else that will boost their income, like gambling. Nelk is definitely worse than Steve morally though.
Yeah but his charity vids are staged and faked lol
He's done some stupid, shady shit, but so has everyone on this platform. He hasn't done any worse than other streamers/KZheadrs and he gives back quite a lot even before the gambling from what I've seen.
