@@nbkarkat it's also a coping mechanism, so many players in CSGO accuse the enemy team of cheating. I rarely agree to their suspicion, maybe 1 in every 20 matches in total. I think it's mostly used to explain their own performance and avoid having to be self-critical. Dynamically adjusting their actions based on the enemy is tough, thinking that they cheat is easy.

another bit about Ned’s cheating: they recently had a TV show premiere on Food Network, and after everything came out, their time slot was changed was changed from Wednesdays at 10pm to Fridays at 10am, effectively burying it. he probably cost them that deal.

I'm very happy with how the Try Guys handled the situation. I hate when big youtubers get into scandals and they try to talk to you like we're friends. This got recommended to me again a year later and the thumbnail made me thought the try guy situation got worse even after a year.
The main reason Ned was fired (other than cheating on his wife who also worked for the Try Guys company) was because he had an affair with a lower level employee which can lead to a lot of legal troubles to the company, especially since there are claims that he was the head of the Human Resources department. If not handled correctly, very nasty lawsuits could come out of the situation.

I've watched a lot of Try Guys, never really cared about their personal life. But hearing what happened wa a major shock considering what Neds brand was in the group. It all came off real and as pissed/upset as the other guys were, you can tell they were caught off guard by it. It has apparently been happening for awhile as well. Which leads me to speculate what has been going on in his home life with his family or has he been living a lie his entire life and it was all fake it until you make it.
Lowkey props to this Mogul Mail guy for great online journalism, with his charisma he could even rival people like Ludwig on the platform as time goes on

As someone who watched Try Guys back when they were still a Buzzfeed segment, it's still a hard pill to swallow that this is all happening. It's like Ned took the worse possible route to completely fuck up his career, his image, his marriage and family, his friendships, and moreover, find a way to screw everyone else over too. As a person who followed the Try Guys since their Buzzfeed days, I really appreciate how Lud presented the scandal in this video. It made me upset when I saw so many people making gossip videos on the Try Guys just to get views. So seeing Lud talk about Ned alongside other "cheating" stories came off as respectful as a commentator can get.

The worst was the Buzzfeed article that kept popping in my feeds that slightly hated on the Celtics coach and Adam Lavine who also recently cheated and got caught publicly, then WENT IN on Ned and the Try Guys just trying to bring them down completely. Professional, maybe, but still way overdone & overly dramatic. This whole situation is one adult cheating on his partner with another adult who works at the same company...that's it. Yes it makes them both crappy people and they have certainly done a lot of damage to their respective families/partners, and yes it does mean those 2 shouldnt be part of the channel any more, but come on...going back and editing his face out of every past video like he's a murderer or paedophile? I mean did I miss something, did the guy actually beat up this other woman or sexually abuse her? Because if so, I understand why the Try Guys are making a sombre apology video, weeping & acting like someone has died & doing a Total Recall-style erasing of his past work. But as far as I know it's a dude having an affair with a consenting woman, which happens every day. Fire them & get on with your day, dont build it up into something else.

Hans really reminds me of how speedrunners are caught. First there's suspicion caused by a rapid rise and some inconsistency here and there. Then, there's an analysis which proves that it's very very suspicious. Lastly, there's an investigation which works out exactly how it was done and how to prove someone is doing it in the future if someone else tries it. Also, the goal of a cheater is to get away with it with the least reputation damage. Cheaters will never admit more than is proven and they will lie as much as they need to. IMO he's a liar and deserves to get a ban for life, also maybe over the board games should be recorded ahead of time and not played live so that people have a harder time cheating.
Hans Nieman actually cheated on purpose to start the butterfly effect of other cheaters getting caught. May he rest in piece.

the blonde looks great. if you get yourself some toner, it will make it a lot less yellow. purple shampoo helps to maintain the colour after you use toner.
Fully agree I think he needs to tone it to a more cool toned shade such as an ash-silver blonde. However, it could just be the lighting though, I know warm lighting always makes my bleached hair look so much more yellow than normal

I think from what I understand with Hans. Even apart from the statistical analysis, Hans’s inability to explain his thinking behind his chess moves in any coherent way is the most telling give away to me. If he really is the best chess player in the world, he should be able discuss his moves and the reasoning behind them just like any Super GM.

The hair honestly isn't bad. I think it'll look even better when a little bit of roots grow in to give it depth and you could always use toner to take some of the brassy yellow color out and make it more platinum. But change is nice, it's a new era of lud hair

I think a major aspect of the hans niemann drama is that chess relies on you to trust your opponent, if you're playing someone you cant trust not to cheat youll never know if theyre making a bad move because it was a mistake or a weird strategy by a chess engine, suspecting another player is cheating at the top level of chess can absolutely make you play worse against which is personally my theory of why hans was able to beat magnus

You can’t get fired in retaliation for certain protected activities (cheating on your wife is not protected), or if you’re part of a protected class and prove that you were fired for being a member of this class. The united states still has at-will employment, and they could simply state that he’s no longer fulfilling his duties or able to fulfill his duties (for example, even if he wasn’t cheating with an employee, he undoubtably would have taken some time away from social media to “focus on family” and therefore wouldn’t be producing content and interacting with fans per his duties)

Now I feel like Magnus's Resignation to Hans in the online tournament was more calculated than it appeared. Maybe it was basically Magnus saying "You can either have Hans or Magnus, and if you don't ban Hans, then I don't intend to play in your tournament".
This, now that he is known for being a proven cheater and liar at the time something Magnus did that seemed odd or even a bit childish makes it make a lot more sense. I think people backed the wrong horse trusting Nieman at his word.

After watching the video they’ve posted yesterday, this really hits hard and makes me wanna cry endlessly. The three of them looked so disappointed, heartbroken and infuriated in every way. I couldn’t help but feel really terrible for them. I’m just glad that more and more people are aware of this scandal now and that we continue to support the three of them and the rest of Try Guys employees.

There’s no evidence on him cheating in the game against Magnus, that’s the thing. Nothing found when they checked him, nothing strange about the moves. But what they think is suspicious is that he’s cheated before, which is what they’re looking into. In concrete terms though that means nothing regarding if he cheated against Magnus.
@@Decrupt I thought I read that the moves matched up with what a computer would do. And that Hans mentioned that he studied Magnus' previous matches, but it was found that Magnus had only done the same setup once in his career. I could be wrong.

Why would a group for their branding keep someone who cheated on their wife and two children with an employee be kept there, and not the wife?
Nah, people are unreasonable about it. Of course he should be fired for it. Though, I remember this lily and albert cheating incident. Basically kids having a relationship and there's cheating. Everyone was just insanely up in arms about it , when it didn't even concern them, and it really wasn't a huge deal (They were not married, did not have kids, and their relationship had only lasted 2 years). It'd be dumb to him in that offline tv group, obviously, but the amount of hate and bullshit was way over done.

Yeah and honestly I think they are covering their backs. His past being made public, it’s bull that he was ever allowed to be back in their tournaments to begin with… the only reason he was is because he was a public face… I think they revoked it because it probably shouldn’t have happened in the first place… they knew how much he cheated before but made an exception they probably shouldn’t have
@@aidenroy2569 They were lenient because he was a child and they obviously treated it differently to if a grown adult GM who is mature enough and can separate right from wrong did the same thing. Everyone's done something extremely stupid when they were young. They showed goodwill to Hans hoping he would reform but he took advantage of that. Nobody deserves to be chastised for their entire lives for a mistake they made in the past as a kid. Now if they don't learn a lesson from that and go on to repeat the misdemeanor like Hans did, only then should they be dealt with in a severe manner and be handed a more lasting punishment. My point is basically that everyone should have a second chance to right their wrongs. However if they do the opposite and repeat their misdeed the hammer will come down on them harder.
@@areebsiddiqui758 sure except he was 17 cheating repeatedly including games with cash prizes… I understand the leniency for a kid especially when he was 12-16 but once he showed repeated games in tournaments with cash prizes he should have been permanently removed from tournaments… not saying from the site all together or anything, or from otb but a repeat offender cheater online shouldn’t be in tournaments where it’s incredibly easy to cheat
