Never a bad thing to say about others to make himself " look or feel" better. Im in the Theo rabbit hole ....deep. Almost through 200 podcasts, love this guy! His dad would be so proud.

    • I recently heard Rogan make a comment about Theo’s stories. Said he didn’t know how many are true but they’re funny as hell. It had never even occurred to me that the stories might not be completely accurate memories he was sharing of a colorful childhood. I realized, oh, right. He’s a comedian. He embellishes his tales to make them funny. Duh!

With Brendan, bryan, and Chris Delia it got to a point where they were questioning the authenticity of theos stories instead of appreciating them for the comedic content they hold.

  • i just saw a few clips of shane the other day, and i’m stoked about this episode. he’s so funny, and it’s cool to see him on my favorite podcast. he reminds me SO MUCH of my best friend who passed in 2021… the looks, the humor, the mannerisms.. all of it. so he definitely gives me this comfort i can’t really explain, just like theo von gives me an escape from the bullshit and it’s a safe cozy thing, like i’m kicking it with my pals. can’t wait to see more from both y’all.

I don’t like the dialogue with him either but mostly because he’s clearly uncomfortable, and I feel like Theo resorts to using him as a prop for laughs.     • @@galonzo1842 Hopefully, since there’s so much positivity towards Shane in the comments section of this episode, by Theo giving him some credibility, as well as Rogan has recently done, maybe he’s moving towards being less of a risk to have on as a guest. The more of this type of content, the more other podcasts will take a chance to have him on. As an added bonus, it’s another example of how cancel culture run amok, in instances like this, is just to capitalize financially, rather than being done for the greater good of our society. At least they just tried to destroy his career, before it ever happened. He doesn’t have a wife & kids to support, so I guess it was ok to take him out before that might’ve happened. It’s kinda perverse, which is ironic to do to a guy that writes potentially offensive jokes, which are often the best.
