Eddie Hall (425lbs + 6'3") + Hafthor Bjornsson (430lbs + 6’9")
- This is arguably the toughest strongman contest of all time.
This was the Final 3 Events @ Europe’s Strongest Man ’17
--- Both men won World’s Strongest Man after / Eddie in 2017 , Thor in 2018
It went into the final event just 0.5 point apart after 4 Events:
1 Truck pull victory for the Icelander
2 World Record in Axle Press by Hall
3 Deadlift win for Hall
4 Medley race win for Hafthor
Then it finished on the Atlas Stones at l at Europe’s Strongest Man 2017

    • back in the day , people this big and strong were extremely rare. When I say extremely , it's like one in thousands. because you need a strict regime to get to that point . in medieval times , not many people could eat to satiate their hunger , even less get enough protein to build consequent muscle mass. vikings for example , although depicted as tall and strong , were actually pretty small , and fit, because of malnutrition.

When the WWE , UFC , tennis league comes around we fill it. When strongman comes around , people will subscribe to there KZhead channels , buy there merchandise , follow on IG or twitter . But will not show up to the events . Larry wheels is huge , Brian Shaw - Martin licis - and guys of these types get tens of thousands of people to follow but Larry gets millions. Bradley Martin gets millions.

  • This is arguably the toughest strongman contest of all time - to win you had to beat Eddie with a 216kg Axle World Record, or maybe beat Eddie in Deadlift - or hafthor in Turck Pull Medley relay at his fittest and also the Atlas Stones at his absolute best…. put the two together and they would make the unbeatable strongman !!!!!

No shaking, no wobbling and no leg drive at all. IMO the most impressive overhead WR ever. And the reason Z was beating him in overhead events was because he was in his prime while Eddie wasn't yet.
