7th September 2019 - Mark Felix takes to the stage for event 4 of the World's Strongest Man Tour Finals at Manchester Arena to attempt to break his own WORLD RECORD on the Pillars of Hercules.

That “HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT IT” with the audience roaring must’ve been the most inspiring thing ever.
The emotion really came out of the commentator right after with that YEAHS. Always love it when even the people watching come apart at the incredible feats of strength.
Having someone asking me that exact question as I was wrestling 20+ lbs out of my weight class for the gold medal, I can personally attest that every atom in your body kicks into maximum overdrive. For me, I bridged out of a very tight cradle and reversed the hold on him; for Mr. Felix, it made all the weight and fatigue go away for about ten seconds.

Watch his hands, the man absolutely gave it his all and it shows. His grip failed but only after successfully beating his own record, the world record. One thing I do wonder with these events is does the announcer and crowd distract or does it provide a tempo that helps inspire you to keep pushing.
