  • I hear ppl compare Conor’s leg break to Chris’s and just heard Chael and D.C. say it the other day.. I’m not saying Conor’s wasn’t bad or wasn’t terrible but they’re night and day two different things and Chris has been thru hell and back several times. I wish him the best

  • It was a competitive fight but I definitely winced every time Tavares kicked that leg. Man has nothing to prove anymore. Quality of life is the top priority at this point.

    • Makes you wonder how many other times he didnt watch tape on his opponents ( I get & understand FIGHTERS not wanting to watch Tape ) but his COACHES have ZERO EXCUSES for not watching tape for each & every opponent... it's literally what they get paid to do is , GAMELAN & train their fighter accordingly...   • I tried giving Weidman the benefit of the doubt here but once again he said "I feel like I have what it takes to be the best in the world" making me cringe like always. At what point does belief become delusion? Weidman is way over the hill and wasn't going to climb back to the top before the leg break. This makes me root against him. How many reality checks does one person need? He's a nice guy too but come on.

    • While I agree with you, every fighter is delusional, they have to be. You can't be a logical level headed thinker and become a world champion, because when they start on the amateur scene and in regional pro promotions, the idea that they'll become a UFC champion one day is delusional. Their loved ones and coaches have to save them from themselves, if Chris loses this one by finish, I guarantee you his dad, and Ray Longo will convince him to retire.
