A rare day. You wont believe it. I thought they wanted a ride. Im just glad I had the camcorder.Not something you go out and see every day.Enjoy!

  • Just to let you all know. Mom and baby were together when we left them. The fawn was not abandoned.

  • Mother deer have to leave fawn alone so that she can go get food. They do it all the time. That's why they say if you encounter a fawn, and it does not look injured, leave it alone. The mother deer will be back to get the fawn after she has finished eating.

  • they are going to feeding grounds more than likely the fawn can cover more ground by road! preditors do the same thing so she has to get him off the road at night.
