"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never gave much thought what it meant. I just thought it was some cold-blooded shit to say to a motherfucker before I popped a cap in his ass. I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. See now I'm thinkin', maybe it means you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9 Milimeter here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. Now I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.
I have been itching so long for this video, I always wanted to make it, but I finally got around to sitting down and actually making it. I hope you'll like it!
P.S. Cannot wait for his final movie.

    • @SkyNet General It's not really a good comparison. PTA and Tarantino all make really amazing stories, the difference is how they tell it. PTA is good at telling it in a very compelling way while Tarantino go for the coolness and stylistic choice, it's down to preference.

      @voucdung4943@voucdung4943 Жыл бұрын
    • @SkyNet General yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. PTA made very compelling and dark story that make you think a lot. QT aim to give you an extremely fun experience while watching it and he has a way to make his movie feel personal to audience. That's what I thought about them anyway. So to compare two very distinctive style is not really fair. Love them both though.

  • The opening of Reservoir Dogs is one of the best uses of misdirection I've ever seen in a movie. All the main characters are sitting around having an entertaining, irreverent conversation over breakfast, completely relaxed, cool as fuck, then it shows them walking down the street in slow motion like badasses while that hip jaunty song plays over the credits. It looks like the opening to any other cheeky light-hearted heist movie, like Ocean's Eleven. Next thing you know, BAM, Orange is covered in blood in the back seat screaming his head off, White is doing his best to calm him down but is clearly rattled himself, and nobody else from the opening is anywhere to be found. "Oh, shit, I guess whatever they were doing didn't go so well." It's a master class in getting the viewer's fucking attention pronto.

  • Tarantino's films are really some of the best out there that explore what is good, evil, and the gray in between; realizing they do exist, but they live in a twisted battle inside everybody. This battle is old, new, fun, intelligent, dumb, witty, crazy, and very very bloody, but its life, and no one is totally devoid of them. With style and tight storytelling, he's easily become my 2nd favorite director after Spielberg.

Most films are made and tailored after what the audience will like, to bring in more money and attention, but not all of them are. It just so happens that people go wet for everything Tarantino does, even if it isn't done for them.
