You know, I've often thought that the gangster and the artist are the same in the eyes of the masses. They are admired and hero-worshipped, but there is always present underlying wish to see them destroyed at the peak of their glory."
Stanley Kubrick is one of those directors who broke the boundaries of conventional filmmaking and delivered works of masterpieces that stood the test of time unshakingly. Just like Bergman he is not afraid to question the essence of our existence, challenge what's right and wrong. Through his masterwork and sometimes disturbingly conflicting scenes he makes you think about everything from simple human evolution to values of our society.

  • One of the best videos I've ever seen. Every sound, every frame, every font and choice of scenes perfectly summed up. It takes a masterpiece to sum up Kubrick. This masterpiece will never exist, but we've come a lot closer to it. I can finally say it, I was cured all right
