In this day and generation, many confrontations are recorded on a cellphone. Last week, a cellphone video captured a man yelling at two Army recruiters, calling them “killers” in the middle of a Walmart.

Navy reservist here out of Ellington, you two handled it very well and I applaud you for that. I’ve NEVER had anyone in Houston say anything like that, I’ve always been treated well while in uniform and treated like family. I hope no one ever experiences something like that at home again!

I just came across this. The two NCO’s were the example of professional. I am not a combat vet, but I did serve honorably for 9 years. I want to thank both of them for their service and sacrifice, they are what makes this country great.

So true, the old school guys weren't always thier because they wanted to be, so when they went and changed so much, they had alot of pride, add in the friends they watch die and when they come back, they do not a give a f what ppl say, they would crush them. I remember the 90,s and vets were everywhere. They were very quick to fight and my dad being one had a rap sheet full of assaults because of the 70,s and the let's hate our war heroes era.

That brings back memories I don't want to remember. I am a old Veteran that came home from Vietnam. It was hard to be called a baby killer or have piss thrown on you. Just remember that walk in California. Got on a bus and came home after 368 days in country. TO THE GREAT AMERICAN CITIZENS AND SERVE MEMBERS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

So have you started up a shelter to help them or a Vets program of some sort or maybe you took a homeless Vet into your house or maybe you donated your stimulus check to a Vet program or are you just on here being an a-hole? Ill admit ive done none of the above, the most ive done is donate money to a few Veteran programs but im not the a-hole who tried to make a stranger feel bad for simply saying thanks for your service to a Veteran
I appreciate people in the military who’ve fought hard and who are dedicated to serving and protecting i met a vet from Vietnam who had skin cancer tho who later died with nothing I don’t know how it works I don’t know how after serving his life became that but God bless the people who come back half of what they were before.
