Bisping- from fighter to one of the best analysts in the game , fight breakdowns & BYM podcast , he always makes it fun.
I love Bisping but his commentary work is shite . He tries too hard and waffles on during the middle of exchanges. Also says “believe, achieve” every card and acts very cringe.

Couldn't have said it better, but if he would have managed to become champion prior in his bellator run then he would have got top 5 without a doubt like chandler did

@markdyer2574 It can't be 2 fights, and i will tell you why. If he gets past Holland, he would need to fight and beat any of the following guys ranked in the top 5 to even be in consideration for a title shot that quickly. Kamaru Usman, Belal Muhammad, Shavkat Rakhmonov, Gilbert Burns or Colby Covington. Even then, having a win against Holland, and any of these 5 guys might not be enough. Welterweight is also filled with many guys on the come up like Jack Della Maddalena, Sean Brady, Ian Garry, Shavkat Rakhmonov, and Rinat Fakhretdinov, MVP is already 36, i highly doubt he makes as much noise as he did in Bellator.
@themastermind5638 Technically, you're right. However, the UFC plays by their own rules. If MVP performs spectacularly in his 2 fights, then Dana will give him the title shot. The last person who got a title shot, which didn't make sense, was Colby.
@@markdyer2574 You are right that the UFC doesn't play by the rules sometimes. However, if anything, i would think that the next 2 guys in line due for a title shot are Belal Muhammad and then Shavkat Rakhmonov. So in the meantime, i would feel that MVP would have to fight more than those 2 times you think it would take for him to receive a title shot.

He’ll put on a great show but his take down defense is like kimbos Leon’s on a different wrestling level. But striking in mma venom is a beast.

I had no plans on ordering this fight until I found out that MVP was fighting. I have been out the loop on UFC for a while. Im normally up to date. I have only been able to watch MVP highlights and events well after they have happened. Im excited to see him fight live, sad to see him fight Holland due to the fact that someone has to lose. I like them both. I think they are a great match up for a exciting fighting fight.

Damn, so him beating #12 ranked Kevin Holland automatically gets him a title shot??? Over guys like Bellal Muhammad who is on a 10 fight streak where he was won 9 of those and 1 no contest against Edwards. Or Shavkat Rakhmonov who is 18-0 with all 18 wins by stoppage. Both those guys are ranked #2 and #3. MVP would get a title shot before them??? Come on man, get real, that is not happening, and if it does that is completely bullshit. Beating the #12 ranked fighter should not get you anything other then a fight with someone in the top 10 and that's how you work yourself up towards a title shot.

you can really see one eye of bisping is moving and the other is just like O
MVP comes across really well, totally different to his ring antics. I think kevin Holland is a really good test. How he performs against Holland will give a good idea as to how he could fair. Think the level of wrestlers he could come up against could pose a problem though.

Love MVP but at 36, it’s probably too late in his career for him to beat the very top guys in the division. However, he can definitely still beat guys like Holland so that’s a solid matchup. I’ll be rooting for him either way!
It is true he is aging. But you do have to look at the caliber of fighter he is. He can easily be a top 10 guy for the next 5 years
Limiting belief that and not what the science says. A man can stay at his peak all through his 30s at the very least IF he lives really well, eats clean and keeps his cognition clear. Emphasis being on the *if* there.

@@morganrowe1029 As much as I love MVP, to be fair he hasn’t yet shown us that he is the same caliber fighter as a Glover (who had already stomped many UFC fighters and fought for a UFC belt earlier in his career), or Randy, an all-time great and a true outlier when it comes to age in MMA. If MVP was already as seasoned as they were at his age now, I would give him a great chance at a title

His record is impressive, but his injury record and not taking a belt at Bellator makes me inclined to agree he's about Holland level (which is still very impressive). On the other hand though, 76% finish record on 21-2 is nothing to underestimate

Lay down the crack pipe son, that shit is killing the last remaining brain cells you got. At 36, MVP isn't gonna do much in the UFC but perhaps beat Holland and maybe 1 or 2 more guys somewhere in the top 15. The very best of the division would beat this dude no doubt about it.

Wouldn’t actually mind UFC cherrypicking strikers all the way to a title shot like pereira. Most of Leon’s other matchups are dull outside of Shavkat. Give MVP Kevin Holland, then Wonderboy, then a title shot. Even if Edwards loses the belt to an Ian Garry that would be a fun fight. Let’s be real though, Shavkat mauls him, so do the older grapplers still in the rankings
