  • That type of behavior is why l call Jones an idiot. Besides, he knows Aspinall would defeat him.

    • Jon certainly doesn’t look great at heavyweight. It looks like he’s retaining water. His muscles just don’t look hard. This is brand new for his body, but he looked to have retained a lot of his speed and agility his last two fights. Of course Stipe is old and about to retire, so make what you will of that fight 🤷 Tom is also extremely fast at his weight. A natural lean 260 with that kind of speed is always a force to be reckoned with. As far as the style matchup goes, Jon has one of the widest stances and he has the longest arms in MMA. Tom seems to have a much more compact stance from which he explodes moving forward. Jon is just such a swami guru when it comes to fight IQ and studying his opponent. He’s probably the best at that. Could Tom beat Jon? Absolutely, but to do so, he’s going to have to fly to the himalayans and go to the top of the mountain and meditate for a couple weeks, come back and formulate a strategy and studying Jon to the most finite detail. You know Jon will be doing that level 10. ~fasteagle 🦅

  • Jon Jones is at the end of his career where the next fight might be his last fight and he wants a fight against an opponent with a similar legacy to round his career up. And that's certainly not Tom, it's Stipe. End of discussion.

  • Jones is the most secured acting insecured guy who has not many reason to be insecure but feels insecure about not feeling secure and acts out to ensure he appears secure.

    • @@MrLeiduowen I don't know, Lol. 🤣 Honestly, he knows he's talented and capable of achieving unbelievable things. But he has a miserly character. He doesn't have courage. Courageous men (and women) are not afraid to face reality, not afraid to accept truth. Jones is afraid to accept that anyone else can be better than him. This makes him appear very uncharitable even though he tries to hide it then fails. When he praised Khabib for example, you'll notice that he's unable to just say the good words and be quiet. He ends up dismissing him after saying the kind words. he's just not capable of not thinking about himself, and that makes him weak.

  • We take from this that Jon Jones doesnt need to prove anything to anyone. He made a commitment to fight Stipe, and he will probably retire. Jes beaten everyone he has ever faced, unlike Tom. Tom should focus on getting revenge for his loss against Blaydes, and maybe call out those other nobodies he got beaten by too, while he is at it.

    @amado4249@amado4249Ай бұрын
    • the blaydes fight was 15 seconds long, it was an injury not a legitimate loss. in my opinion tom wins that rematch no question

      @GoSleepMMA@GoSleepMMAАй бұрын
    • @@GoSleepMMA It was definitely a legitimate loss. An injury, being unable to continue because of that injury during a fight, is 100% a loss. You're a casual if you don't know that fact.

      @amado4249@amado4249Ай бұрын
    • okay man i’ll give you this you picked out a misuse of not legitimate. it is a loss on the record but you can’t say it’s not a fluke loss, and if you think that tom aspinall throwing and kick and blowing his knee out isn’t flukey brother idk what sport your watching

      @GoSleepMMA@GoSleepMMAАй бұрын
    • @@amado4249 Well he chose to go up to Heavyweight. Nobody forced him to fight in a higher weight class did they. What a pointless endeavour. Fought the runner up having dodged Ngannou and now another true contender comes along decides to dodge him too. Greatest lightweight of all time I'll grant you but the accolades end there.
