He's not lying when he says he trained none stop, But what he misses out is he trains none stop for a few months, Then parties for the rest of the year.

    @laak72@laak7220 күн бұрын
    • Darren has ruled out bare knuckle, doesn’t want to compete in that sport, and I don’t blame him. It’s so damaging. Pretty sure he’s trying to make a boxing match with Perry

    • You definitely don't understand the severity of any fight let alone a bare knuckle fight with Perry especially coming off the couch, he's got a family to think about, there are plenty of ways to make money

      @DyllanNoRegrets@DyllanNoRegrets18 күн бұрын
    • @@DyllanNoRegretsWhat don't I understand? Didn't give an opinion on BK fighting, just reported what I'd just heard Mike Perry saying 5 minutes previously. I do, however, think he should take the right offer (whatever he thinks that is) sooner rather than later while he still has that UFC shine. Remember, in pure fighting terms, he's coming of a run of losses. And, this is my opinion, he is over rated as a fighter. His choice of opponent/organisation he next fights with/in is important and will determine how he is judged going forward.

      @laak72@laak7217 күн бұрын
    • @@DyllanNoRegrets.....ya well Darren is a “fighter”. He spent years training and learning, and now will turn down $2 million bout offers? Yes there are other ways to make money, that’s why people learn a trade / skill, get an education. Darren’s skill is fighting. What else is he gonna do that will make him millions? And you could easily argue taking the fight would be thinking about his family and his future. He would be securing them financially

    • @@Harry-hh1is How do you know that? I'm not saying I have the truth, but what makes you think he's not being honest? It makes total sense to me. The UFC doesn't normally cut fighters like Till just because they're on big losing streaks. Just look at Sam Alvey. If a fighter doesn't want to fight and wants to take a break for their health, the UFC isn't going to be that inclined to keep them around. Yes they have sometimes held fighters to their contracts to avoid them jumping ship, but that was usually in the context of pay disputes, and that doesn't seem to be the issue with Till.

    • right. cant forget how much of a fight he gave dricus, who ended up becoming champion currently. lighting dricus tf up on the feet and had him hurt multiple times. once it got to the ground it expectedly went downhill for till. he had some questionable decisions during that fight as well. makes me think if he REALLY worked on his ground game and MENTAL ASPECT AND FIGHT IQ, he could have gone through a charles olivera type of rebirth. like i said, he gave the champion a tougher fight than whittaker and brunson did, but also lost to both of those guys. Till will be a big "what-if" fighter for a while.

  • Listening to this i now realise wat till went thru. B4 it seemed like this guy from Liverpool came out of nowhere, was gonna b the nxt big thing and then fudged it up at the pivotal moment and fell off the planet. And everyone was saying he is a hype job. But, honestly, Listening to him here, i think he has a lot more to give and i think we will c him in the ufc cage again involved in big fights. All the best to till ❤

  • Would love to see darren back in the UFC, the guy was so talented, fast, powerful, amazing distance control, footwork, the guy went toe to toe with prime wonderboy and prime rob wittaker, him vs izzy was a huge 'what-if', hope he comes back and comes back for the right reasons and in the classic darren 'f*ck you' mind set, if not the UFC get him into ONE muay thai, i think he'd do amazing and today its big money.
