Thank you for this video, it was very helpful Mate!
You're welcome and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
I can’t believe I didn’t get a notification for this video. A very useful tip, I remember that the rental Nissan Tiida in Cyprus I drove, had super slow windows, I never thought of this. Keep up the good work!!
Why, thank you. I've seen your Nissan Tiida video. Very interesting!
@@CarSpyTV oh really! That was my first ever video. Lol thank you
@@mattsbeamer I saw that video recently. It was interesting to see a Nissan we don’t have in the UK.
Thank you for watching it. I hope my videos have improved since then. :P I think someone in Ireland sold them. I am not sure if I am thinking about another car though. Did you see the Note and knackered skyline saloon?. :)
Mmmm. I don't recall seeing the other Nissan videos, but they sound interesting. I haven't driven a Note for years.
Very handy I'll be trying this out
Hope the job goes well for you, Chris.
Gonna try this out later. Thanks for video. Hopefully my windows will work better.
Jolly good. Hope it goes well.
Very good tips. Thank you. Neat can for spraying oil. Thanks!
No worries, RDT.

Thanks for another informative video! If you have tinted windows, is the spray safe for contact with the tint layer?
Hello. I’ve never tried so can’t be sure. If you have a go yourself, it might be worth running a test in a small, inconspicuous area before going all out. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Good demo. Will try it.😅
Glad the video helped. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.

Clean and lubricate - that covers so much of car maintenance, servicing and repairs. Also well done on showing preventative maintenance by doing this simple job before the windows stop working. A tip for you, rather than having to buy another sperate product and worrying about the paint buy and use GT85 on this and many other jobs on the car and many other items. No, I'm not on commission. :)
Thank you, Nta16. I have got some GT85 now. Shame you won't get any commission! Best wishes as always.
@@CarSpyTV I hope it does disappoint, saves having different can when one will do. Cheers.
We've already used it on house windows. It seems good so far.
Sorry my keyboard can't spell, I obviously meant 'doesn't'.
Don't worry. I knew what you meant. I have similar trouble with my keyboard!
What a brilliant idea, I just put wd40 on mine, have a good weekend mate
Hope you have a good weekend too, Ian. I've got a lot on!
So why would my windows go up and down quickly with the door panels removed but slow right down after I reinstall the door panels? The side tracks are the same in both cases. I'm suspecting the rubber at the bottom of the window.
If you pull the rubber at the bottom of the window back a little, does the window speed up?
So you clean up first the tunnel, then spray silicone without cleaning, right?
Correct. No need to remove the silicone from the window runners.
@@CarSpyTV thanks
You steering wheel is on the wrong side. Ha ha
I'll fix it!
Different country have there steering wheels on the passeger side ,I thought it was weird to.......put they do exit...I seen toyota camrys le 2.4 too...
you still got 50% of tracks inside your door panel.
Which get lubricated as the window moves. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
@@CarSpyTV Sure, whatever works, just pointing out some optionals. I would take off the panel and blast it inside. But for people not adventurous to do the whole track, "sliding the lube down" is enough.
No worries. I'm interested to read such comments and you're always welcome to pass on any tips, tricks, etc. 👍
