"Looks like We have some Competition Boys"
Video mainly focuses on critically analysing the 12 murders that took place on Holidays starting from Halloween Night and Batman’s effort to track down the Culprit. In the Video I explain how Batman deduce clues and reach to conclusions after each murder.
Video also discusses on the arrival of Joker, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Penguins and Solomon Grundy to the Battle. The Plan Batman comes up with to trap the Holiday Villain is thoroughly analysed in the Video.

Like Spiderman with Daredevil, i wouldn't cross Spiderman with the Fantastic 4 though. But i think the same here with Batman, i think he works the best when alone in Gotham with his bat family. So yeah, having these limitations makes me like him much more than the literal god of expectancy we find when he's in JLA.

    • It's more that Calendar Man has a madly obsessive streak for committing murders and crimes on specific holiday events. While Batman can easily deduce things and do detective work, and sure, he can buy a calendar like anybody else, he doesn't have the same obsessive compulsive nature of villains like Calendar Man. Due to Holiday seemingly sharing some similar traits to Calendar Man's own modus operandi, Batman essentially used Calendar Man's deductive streak based on his own obsessions for holiday events to figure out when exactly Holiday is most likely to strike. My guess is the narrator for this video left out a great deal of context or worded things in such a way it downplayed Calendar Man's use and value to Batman who has a very logical and rigid mind that is a bit more broad spectrum and not obsessed with holidays to do things. Also Calendar Man and Holiday know way more about celebratory events than anybody else, I would say, so much so, Batman probably couldn't figure out which holiday the criminal would strike. I suspect Holiday didn't kill on EVERY single event, making it harder to predict when they'd strike.

    • @blackbirdfilms1966 the only thing is that she had already destroyed all the important evidence, like the marriage photos and her connectionto the Falcone family. Harvey had already taken the fall for everything so the last couple of guns she is destroying wouldn't matter. It's all still in Harvey's house and Batman probably realized even if she confessed that Harvey would still try to take the heat. Meaning in the eyes of the law it would just look like a wife trying to save her husband. In the end nothing would change since they still have other cases that prove Harvey is a killer, like killing Carmine. So Harvey is taking the rap for everything whether Batman brings her in or not.

It's one of Batman best Two Faces origin, it made sense and really see that he's not a literally lunatic or an insane man. He's still seek justice and even willingly given himself up to Gordon. The death and end of Falconi's family was very unfortunate, yet I like how it was laid down. One by one, they get taken down and they still don't know who really did it. Feels bad for Calendar man though, that scene was funny when he just goes "Oh sure, leave me here...not that I'm important. Break the crazy midget why don't you- oh you did..." In terms of story, comic accuracy (I know I know, its not 100% faithful but it is close) and character design, it is amazing. Voice acting is also perfect. I often forget I am watching animation because I get so immersed in the acting and world they have created. 10/10. I think Jensen Ackles has a real shot of becoming the new voice of Batman after Conroy's passing. Big shoes to fill, but I like his portrayal quite a bit. If Batman knew Gilda was involved that chick would've gone to prison, not be allowed to destroy vital evidence right in front of him. That's my biggest problem with many of these comic to animation adaptions DC have been making. They constantly change certain plot points or characters. It ruined the ending to this movie, it completely demolished the entire plot of Hush and that extra original Batgirl story added to The Killing Joke took a spin that made both her and Batman act in way that's so waaaaaaay out of character the entire rest of the movie was tarnished by it.

  • It's wild just how bloody and brutal this movie is. People getting body-horror modified into mummified smiles, a guy getting slashed apart by a propeller, another dead with gunshot wounds in a bathtub, etc. This is why DC has its niche and is loved by a lot of people; it's not afraid to portray its own stories. Meanwhile Marvel heroes have full-blown smash fights thrown through buildings and the damage is some scuffed clothing or a bruise. Civilians basically never die, too. No collateral damage. It's wild that Marvel has world-ending threats but never seems to have a big death toll. I know there are exceptions to this, like the Hulk various comics being particularly gruesome, but in general you can watch a Marvel movie of any sort and know what's going to happen 5 minutes later at all times.

    • @@lolstalgic9602 The fantasy of having fights in populated areas without significant collateral damage is pretty ridiculous. It shouldn't be portrayed as heroic to even perform such acts unless there is no other way. It is such a basic principle that police and military answer to oversight for just one gunshot with innocent people around the area of plausible collateral damage. We're talking instead about strength far beyond something as pitiful as a gun. The strength to break buildings in half, for example, which often happens while fighting (with no deaths). I'm not a Dragonball fanboy or anything, but a part of what makes that show so appealing to people is the wholesome worry the heroes have for civilians, going out of their way to insist on fights being out in the middle of nowhere.

But honestly them not getting assasinated on the roof is literally the least plot-holey thing in the DC universe. • @@SecondLookTMThat is not true, as was already pointed out to you in another comment thread. Falconi was a main villain in the story but Batman wasn't after Falconi for the whole movie, he was after Holiday, since Batman doesn't believe in killing his enemies but Holiday is going around killing and Batman sees that as being just as evil. Plus during the fight scene in Faconi's office Batman is protecting him from being ganged up on by all the other villains but fails to protect him. Batman wants him to go to prison, not be murdered.
