  • Imagine being Sasha Vujacic and having to take those 2 free throws, in the last minute of Game 7 of the NBA finals. Nerves of steel.

    • For real. He had to be on fuckin cloud 9 after making those. You'd feel like the biggest bad ass ever, hahaha. Even if you sucked ass the rest of your career, you'd always have that in your back pocket. So Sasha what is the most valuable thing in your life? Well obviously making those free throws. So that's more valuable to you than your wife and kids? Oh, one HUUNDRED percent

  • This comment is for ALL the idiots who say "Kobe didn't deserve Finals MVP." Kobe's averages in the 2010 NBA Finals up until Game 7: • 30 Points Per Game • 7 Rebounds Per Game • 4.2 Assists Per Game • 2.5 Steals Per Game • 1 Block Per Game • 44% FG% • 37% 3P% • 93% FT% And most people that try to discredit his Game 7 performance don't even realize that he still played great defense, GOT 15 REBOUNDS AS A SHOOTING GUARD, and got to the line plenty while being very clutch and efficient. Kobe knew his shoot wasn't falling, so he used his diverse skillset and basketball I.Q to impact the game in other ways to help his team win, that's called greatness! And on top of that, EVERYONE on both teams shoot poorly in Game 7. And in addition, Kobe also had a fractured finger on his shooting hand. I find it funny how all haters can say is "Kobe shot 6-24" without acknowledging or mentioning ANY of these facts. In short, people should do their research and learn a thing or two about the game of basketball before trying to diminish Kobe's greatness in the 2010 Finals.

He had gasol (hof lock), shooters like artest and odom, a x-factor like fisher and the most important one... Vujacic. (Kobe deserved the FMVP)

Winning against the Celtics, at Staples Center, game 7, leaving the 2000s on top and leading the NBA into the 2010s and passing the torch to LeBron. And having the perfect final game, at home, 60 points vs Jazz, still showing his desire to be better than Michael Jordan, 60 points meaning 6-0 in the Finals vs also against the Jazz. Both hit game winners vs Jazz. He was just incredible at what he did.

  • For all the people saying "Kobe didn't deserve Finals MVP" just because his shot was cold in Game 7 completely ignore the fact that no one really shot well that game (look it up), his index finger was injured, and he also impacted the game in other ways like defense, rebounding and getting to the foul line. And it's called "Finals MVP," not Game 7 MVP. Before Game 7, Kobe was shooting 43.2% from the field, 37.5% from 3, and 93.3% from the line. That's great efficiency playing against great defense in the NBA Finals against a team with arguably 4 All Stars. I'm also not even including his great averages when it comes to points, rebounds, steals, assists, etc...

  • The last battle of my favorite finals war. Respect for the 2010 Cetlics. They were real men. This was the Lakers' toughest chip and is IMO the most underrated series in NBA history. A very banged up Kobe didn't have his stroke that day so he trusted his team and lead when his individual skills were off. Gasol and Ron Artest/MWP seriously rose to the challenge and stepped up. What a great team victory against a truly great team. I miss this kind fo NBA competition. RIP Kobe and Gigi.

I was literally glued to the TV especially during the finals and I can still remember the feeling I felt when Odom launched the ball across court and Kobe running with his arms up to go get it. RIP Bean

  • I remember, as a kid, watching these games, waking up 1-2 AM here in Poland, staying till like 5-6 AM then go to school to discuss the results with my friends. LAL vs BC rivalry - Bryant-Gasol-MWP-Fisher-Odom vs Pierce-Allen-Perkins-Rondo-Garnett was tough, competitive and inspiring. I feel these were completely different times...

      @mikemoggerson6651@mikemoggerson6651 Жыл бұрын
    • @@mikemoggerson6651 hater. What's lebron's free throw % in the last 2 minutes of a game versus Kobe's? Since we want to talk clutch. What about who has the most wins in the playoffs vs 50 win teams? And who has more rings in less tries? All the stats that really matter Kobe masters. You can keep the buzzer beater statline. I'd rather have a guy knocking off top tier teams in each round of the playoffs on his way to dominate the entire league not just a conference for ten years, going to the finals 7 times and winning 5. Oh and don't forget the Lakers were down 3-2 this series and won game 6 in Boston thanks to Kobe's 38 on the road. Even in this game he was the leading scorer and rebounder on both teams. And no one but arterst shot a good % that's out of both teams. Oh and who just got another loss in the playoffs to a 50 win team??? Leswept

    • It took him being 6 for 24 and staring at a double team in Game 7 only up three to finally make the proper pass. Artest literally said, "KOBE FINALLY PASSED ME THE BALL!" in the press conference after the game. If they had fed Gasol, who had the superior matchup, the series probably ends in five or six. But that might have meant someone other than Kobe getting the recognition and after Shaq, Kobe would rather lose his way than win with someone else getting credit.
