The original Dream team had the best of the best with MJ, Magic and Bird being 3 of the 11! Hall of Fame players that made up that team. For you not to have a clue as to their DOMINANCE means either you have no clue about their individual and/or team accolades or you just have no clue about basketball, Lol. Sure INT ball has definitely matured, but really dude let me bring this to a close so you will never face this sort of public embarrassment again. The Redeem team with those great players, Kobe, Wade and Lefake, STILL after beating those INT teams that you revere, would get brutally stumped by the Dream team, facts!

I remember this game well, and the most memorable thing about it was that the U.S. would have suffered one of the most embarrassing losses in the history of basketball if not for the clutch play of Kobe. This was probably the 2nd or 3rd best team that has ever been assembled (anywhere), in terms of the talent level. Kobe saved our asses!!!

  • I'm 5y younger than Rubio, so 13 when this game was played. As a spanish teen I didnt realize at the time what an exceptional generation we had. From a 40M people country we had a basketball team that dominated european basketball and went one to one with ond of the all time dream teams. We also had one of the most dominant and top 3 of all time football selection, stacked with elite players in all positions. At that time it was also golden era for Alonso. And the one that is for me the best spanish sportman ever, Don Rafael Nadal, that was winning grand slams back to back and arguably best tennis player of all time. Just amazing

This was probably the best version of him, and his best individual year in the Nba season was that upcoming season coming back from injury. People thought he wasn't going to be the same but he came back even better and stronger. Unstoppable on offence and a defensive monster. One of the greatest players to ever play this game.

Only at the height of his peak to dislocate his shoulder. Had he not been injured those 2 pivotal years he probably would of been a 2-3 time champion. Spurs played very similar to Mavs a team he just dismantled he had great chance to either in 05 or 07./// Could have, would have, should have....all empty talk. Wade was great, no doubt. But LBJ will go down as unambiguously the better player, and Kobe (to a lesser degree) as well. Wade's only championship is marred by the fact that the referees gave him every call. Besides that, he's won virtually nothing without Lebron leading.
