how about some classic winter olympics in full from 1994 and earlier? far too much USA basketball. The Olympics is meant to a celebration of the world's great athletes, not just one country - and seemingly predominately one sport, who lets not forget are highly paid professionals rather than amateurs
Why don't you show the full football and hockey matches from the olympiads before 1994?
Hola, USA vs France, final game, basketball of the 2000 Sydney Games.
Vince Carter's dunk on frank reis
Magnificent seven 96 when she landed from the vault on one foot! I fell in love with gymnastics..and Dominique moceanu, even tho I dont know how to spell her name
Look at all of those Iconic and amazing Legends and Christian Leattner
Yea he was a college kid and was able to be apart of history. What have you ever done?
and Mullin.
@@zorro149 nah that’s a reach
@@Cafetero_ He said "and Christian Leattner," implying Leattner is not a legend. I added Mullin; Mullin isn't a legend, either.
@@zorro149 and I said that’s a reach to call someone, who was inducted into the hall of fame for his individual career, not a legend a reach. Pretty simple.
You realize sitting on the bench at the start of this game was Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexeler, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen and Patrick Ewing? That is one helluva bench
Spain was playing EXCELLENT basketball and still got beat so badly. That puts into perspective how legendary the Dream Team was.
No kidding , non basketball people can not comprehend. And there were other great players not there.
Watching these Dream Team games is a great reminder of what a great player Chris Mullin was. He was big, strong, and quick for his position. He had a great outside shot. He was tenacious on defense, constantly working through and around screens and breaking up plays. Oh yeah, also a strong passer and few TOs.
So many underrated white tough dudes on 90s. Stockton, Majerle and Price.
Mullin was true overrated
Stockton not underrated
I would've started Stockton over him
@@lesaatuatasi6267 not same position Chris Mullin is a small forward Stockton true point guard
The lineup with Bird, Barkley and Pippen was deadly
Bird did absolutely nothing. Should not have played.
@@proplayer566 facts
ewing, barkley , pippen was bad..
@@proplayer566 yea he is a rookie, lolol
@@proplayer566 you should watch the game silly.
All of the dream team players can run it up the floor, hit the outside shots, amazing drives, and perfect passing. Amazing to watch
Not ewing, robinson, Barkley, lol Edit: on the outside shots
@@zaggaona Barkley can hit outside shots
That moment you think John Stockton looks like he's really short, but then you remember that he's actually 6'1"...
1:15:20 is so good. Clyde hits a three, then the U.S. gets a defensive stop that results in Bird throwing a baseball pass to Barkley which turns into an alley-pop to Pippen. Greatest team in the history of sports, period.
1:19:50 is another solid moment showing how Larry Bird, even with his back problems, is a master catch-and-shoot specialist at the very end of his playing career. For my money, he’s the greatest shooter of all time.
Steph curry
Steph Curry
Amen
@@JBBGeek and larry bird is far from the greatest shooter is all time. Steph curry is first and klay thompson is second.
That Barkley to Pippen awkward alley oop was hilarious and they both found it funny too.
I love the spirit of the Spanish team they started very confident!
Watching this in 2022, just realized that how much the game has changed, like the strategy, gameplay, tactics, the pace, and many other things
By far the 1992 Dream Team. That team had it all, strengths in all positions and virtually no weaknesses.
True, the weakness was in all other teams, they was soft and skinny players who not play in todays basketball
Redeem Team is DUNG
BIRD running the show with Pippen and Barkley was the top. Bird, despite his limited involvement due to injuries, was still the best, by far!
Incorrect , every player including BIRD said PIPPEN was the best all around player. Even the coaches said he was. Bird said he was shocked at how incredible Pippen was. Stop capping guy.
@Neuer Alter LOL in your dreams.
At the time we watched this live, we had no hope that Magic would be here 30 years later!
AIDS was the same scam back then that it is today.
I did
Lol

This is third game I have watched of the USA Dream Team. In each of these games, the officiating was absolutely horrendous!!
Brazilian coach said that it was like playing against 12 Pelé's. I saw (on TV) every Dream Team match in 92 :)
This was the best Dream Team ever. Great games too.
it is still the best bascketball team ever...
despite having bad back, age n injury you can tell he was the best player in this game! can you imagine a prime bird playing! no wonder he is considered a legend!
Jugadores españoles al escuchar los nombres de los jugadores de usa: Xd
The Spanish players were to busy trying to ask for an autograph during the whole game that's why their Defense failed so bad haha
¿Sabes quién fue el que habló con Magic al principio del vídeo?
Jordan, Bird, Barkley, Pippen, Ewing. This was the best 5 during the game
who was the pg?
@@ivanbarroso2873 Pippen or Jordan
@@ivanbarroso2873 you don't need pg when your all 5 are ballers. But Jordan yes.
Magic much? Lol
So grateful for these games. Thank you @olympic
The tailored uniforms of the Dream Team were in stark contrast to the ill-fitting uniforms of the other teams in 1992.

Jimenez is going to be able to tell how well he played in this game to his grand children!!!! Wow!!!
time really flies really enjoy all the moment has pass by Greetings from 🇮🇩
Monaco or Indonesia?
I love how he's nicknamed "The Mailman".....(because he DELIVERS!)
Jordan looks like he has 60% of his vertical and explosiveness in this game. Hope you had a great time the night before Michael! hehe
Is there a podcast I can find all the stories about it from?
If you look at the olympics and jordans stats he really wasn't playing great at all, probably had to do with him apparently playing on about one hour of sleep a night. Didn't really matter though
Probably played 27 holes of golf that morning.
Maybe he was out drinking with the Spanish coach the night before.
When you have that many amazing players you don't have to try and do everything yourself. Jordan's not selfish, he just brings whatever the team needs!
The 4-0 lead in the beginning was the largest lead any team had on the Dream Team. Needless to say, it didn't last lol
Yeah they played intensely too bad it only lasted 2 mins lol
What a beautiful game what a team game that was always the extra pass searching for the man alone to make the shot no force play like the game is supposed to play
Spain came a long way to be one a superpower in basketball.
in los angeles 84 was medal.
MJ @1:01:59 and Scottie @1:10:56 In Chicago, we referred to this relentless defense as unleashing the Dobermans. We have witnessed.
Every time Chris Mullin gets the ball, he just force feeds it to Jordan 😂
I mean, wouldn't you?
They are teammates way back in '84 , maybe just instinct familiarity
High basketball IQ
Very high basketball iq he had.
Not every time, when he doesn’t, Mullin was dropping 3s like it was his job…oh wait😊
1:15:30 Beautiful moment with Pippen and Barkley, these are the moments I love
Pippen and Barkley had a fist fight after the game where three people lost their lives, including four who were hospitalised in critical condition. Two of those people were announced dead shortly after.
@@loosecannon6905 no they didn’t... never happened
Maybe the only time Barkley ever smiled...

The DREAM TEAM was absolutely spectacular! What a show
Watching this now, it almost looks/feels like the Dream Team didn't even use their full potential.
Don't forget spanish potential😏
They never did! They knew from the grtgo that all they needed to do is use their Superior knowledge of the game, and slowly chip away at all the mistakes and flaws from any opposing team. They always scored 100+ points. That alone is difficult for most teams.

Boy, whenever Chuck was on the floor, the meanness quotient on both offense and defense went up.
I read your comment before I watched it. You're 1000% accurate.
Had the ability to carry himself like he was 2 or 3 players at times.
Everything changes when Pippen is on the court.
After all these years I still enjoy watching them played.
My favorite was the allyoop from Chuck to pippen. They disliked eachother in regular games but loved every bit of this.
Las mejores olimpiadas de la historia ..con el mejor equipo basket jamás visto . 👍🏻
Its incredible spain scored as much as they did...I think u.s. was having an " off" night😆🇺🇲👍

Watching and remembering that I was born in 1992
Thanks the uploader. Really enjoy to see the basketball legend & their nice attitudes amongst them.
When the world loved the USA, those times are well past.
@EST Yeah, for China's money
Eh, they still love the US, just in the disappointed, and often confused family sense, lol.
They just love the checks that come from the USA
The USA is still the beacon of FREEDOM in the world. No other country has ever come close. More proud of that than even of the Dream Team.
Well, we love making you our females and servants.👍👍👍😁😁😁
Great team. The greatest thing about them is that they even have their own song.
When Sir Charles comes in and demoralizes your whole team...👑
Nothing can beat enjoying. Of course, everything.
19:07 nice pass and nice layup of chris mullin
Every game I've seen of the Dream Team felt like watching a snuff film, 10 guys getting tortured and slaughtered.
Imagine actually being in the audience that day
The best Olimpic Games of the history

Love to see the conversation between Magic and those Spanish guy there
Thanks for sharing this game, I must say that US team is scary, it similar like Brasil National team in 2002.. Regards From Spain folks!!
This is the absolute peak of what the US could produce each of their players could be a contender for top 5 of all time in each of their positions, with some being considered Greatest of all time (MJ, Magic, Bird), with one exception: that being the College boy Christian Laettner. Not sure about recently but the US isn’t sending their current best as the current best are more obsessed with themselves than national pride.
1:20:36. Legend!!! Super Epi!!!
Pippen and Bird in a universe parallel 8 championships
THIS IS THE GOLDEN ERA OF THE NBA ! BEST EVER TEAM ASSEMBLED, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY TEAM NOT EVEN THE FUTURE CAN MATCH THE SKILLS MAGNITUDE OF DREAM TEAM 1 !
Skills and mental toughness.
Your the best team USA,, nothing can beat.
Spains nr 8 was a nice player, very skilled
Jimenez, not the best in the team, as Epi was a better shooter, but he was indeed a very accomplished 4
Yes, nº 8 Jimenez was very skilled, one of the first european stretched PF, an advanced player for his time in europe and very able to play in the NBA, although back in the day the NBA was reluctant to hire players from FIBA basketball

UNBELIEVABLE
Human beings being able to survive without cell phones. Beautiful times.
You just know with the hometown crowd roaring, and being up 4 - 0, the Spanish players were thinking to themselves "yeah, we can take these chumps."

chris mullin is so smoooth. i like him since i discover him in 93. he made 97 FT in a row after he was release from the alcohol therapie , he dont thouch the ball 4 3 months.
Wow, basketball game with no flops, in Europe no less!
Christian is such a humble guy, he didn’t get to play much.
He was only just out of college. According to his status amongst these greats, you would expect him to be humble.
@@jeromegaines8062 A mere rookie on the greatest sports team of all time - yeah, I'd be a bit humble too!

Watching Mullin play makes me feel anxious
It’s so refreshing to watch a game and not hear some broadcaster pontificating about every facet of the game. 😀
Mi niñez hace 29 años. Gracias equipo de ensueño
gracias epi y jofresa
Equipazo el Dream Team
Larry Legend was always tbe best player each game team USA played 33:29
Alguien mas se da cuenta de lo flacos que son el equipo español, en comparaocion a los de ahora?
Antes era una cuestión de explosión en velocidad. Ahora la potencia física ha ganado más importancia.
I've only watched parts of this, but Clyde The Glide seemed to have the best game here.
I love John Stockton but he looks so tiny out there 😂
Magic, Bird, and Stockton played through injuries. I think Stockton had a literal broken leg bone.
@39:47...Bird rebound outlet pass to Barkley for the slam.... USA up 61-32
I watch The Spain team play so well but then I look at the score ...
Patrick Ewing's game was butter.
Back in those days NBA superstars play intense defense the most.
