I think a great use of raid medals is to buy 3 clock tower potions and 3 training potions, and sell them. You get an extra 60 gems per week for only 600 medals, and you should still have enough left over to get 3 research potions

I hope that people continue upgrading heroes regularly. A lot of clash creators are making the upgrades seem useless nowadays and sure, you can use hero potions for wars and cwl but you can’t for every regular attack and you can’t at all for any defenses. As a th16 with max heroes I promise in the long run it will be worth it to work on your heroes. Don’t let them fall behind simply because of the hero potion crutch.

My heroes are only level 80 as a th 15 and still get 3 stars quite often against th 16s. Also reached 5700 medals all the time attacking th 16s, they don't really matter much unless your heroes are like 50 levels low.
I have level 40 Bk 50Q 50 warden 19 Rc and Still 3Star a max th15 and semi max th16
That is, if you have relatively low hero levels for your TH level. If you have at least TH14 hero level on your TH16, you're doing fine. Keep crushing those legend & war bases with root rider.
It's so frustrating because the difference between a level 10 hero and a level 20 hero is huge, but the difference between a level 13 hero and a level 14 hero is nonexistent. And as a town hall 8 that doesn't want to rush, upgrading my barbarian king is a pretty big hit to my army

The best value for me in terms of weekend medals/tokens whatever u call em,is buying wall rings,1 wall ring is worth a million gold,so i get 15 million worth resource(5 walls per week as i am th 13),which is wayy better than buying resources directly with those medals or any potion.

Yeah me too. You can leave the GW alone if you dont do warden walks once he is like 40+. RC upgrade also doesnt matter as much. The king must be maxed (he gains like 170HP/7DPS at high levels which is a lot), the queen too if you queen charge.

If you're at the end of a season, builder pots are great as you empty your storages on buildings and then go raid and do another round of buildings once the first ones run out

It still saves you less time though, that's why it's not recommended. 8 days max saved vs 12+ saved for ¾ the league medals

Bro i am th13 and i am using queen with healer puppet and frozen arrow for zap lalo and it's working quite good heros are giving an insane amount of value and frozen arrow saves freez spells for further use and using it behind king is worthful for me though
It’s not worth it. Invis vial and archer puppet are still her best equipment combo. Frozen arrow isn’t bad but pound for pound Invis and archer puppet are each better than frozen arrow (unless frozen arrow is 3+ levels higher - which isn’t the best use of your ores unless you have everything else maxed).

Relying on Hero potions are bad. Hero books are more important than ever because having your heroes for war means more equipment ores. also for CWL medals (if you have free time to farm) I recommend buying bulk builder potions and spam builder boost while upgrading all of your heroes at the same time. This will max your heroes much faster and allow you to have heroes available to get more ores to max equipment fastest

your points are technically correct to speed up progress the most. but I'd rather wait 10 days for a building upgrade rather than 5 days on a hero upgrade, and I rather have heroes maxed first than having less than half of ores needed for 1 equipment upgrade. heroes are crutial to have a good time in coc and what's the point of skipping a couple days if I have to sacrifice my fun for it.

Two more things I would never buy with CWL medals are builder/research potions, I would only buy hammers Because mathematically, a builder potion saves 9 hours of upgrade time for each builder, so even if you have 6 builders, you are only saving yourself 54 hours per potion or 9 days per 4 potions, which is equivalent to the cost of 1 hammer, where you can potentially not only save 14 days of upgrading but also the loot cost of it Same with the research potion but you can only save up to 23 hours per potion or 138 hours per 6 potions, compared to a potential 14 days + loot saved you can get for the same price with the hammer You can also just as easily get those from Raid medals anyway
I always buy builder and research potions because for buildings you're skipping 60hs of time (6 buildings at a time with 10h per building), and I'm a lower th, 10 and 13 so it seems the best

the best value for me is to sell everything for gems for the 1 gem donations in the gold pass.
Honorable mention suprised you didnt include this - best value for gems is to buy the 3 additional war base layouts, (3500 gems) with the new attack own base feature, you can have 8 different bases to practice on before attacking in war, one of witch will likely be close to your war opponent.
For me, a near max 16 who is always warring for ores, I cannot afford to have a hero down so the hammer of heroes is my monthly bill.
Before you hit TH 13, builder potions are the best value from league medals.
I get that hero hamer and it's worth it ...only king most get maxed ..
I buy training and clock tower potions and sell them (unless i used some training potions and need more), i buy research potion if i dont have everything in the lab i use right now maxed. (unless lab is you bottleneck for maxing everything, then id keep buying them even after that, but since i buy gold pass i save 25days lab time per month anyway with a book of spells and a book of fighting. If pet potions are in the shop, those are a must too if you can upgrade diggy, unicorn, phoenix or fox. I usually buy hammer of building. I saved up 2500cwl medals while getting to th15 and am now spending them on Hammer of Buildings every week until they are depleted. Occasionally i buy a hammer of fighting for those 250k DE lab upgrades to save ressources. I spend my gems exclusively on BoH. I have 50 levels to go right now before i am maxed, considering i get 4-7 BoH/month ill keep this up until they are maxed. I also saved up 10k gems on my journey to TH14 and only started spending them once the hero upgrades took several days. I even stopped one gem donating, this is such a huge gem drain and by buying BoH, you can have heroes up most of the time at higher TH levels...
If only heroes are stopping my progress, what about getting lots and lots of builder potion and use it when all builders are on heroes, that way 2 building taking long time as well as hero upgrade time will be reduced or completed

but what if the game doesn't have a sense to me without maxed heroes? so the priority of upgrade full heroes is much higher than anything else and that's why I buy hammers of heroes to enjoy my attacks as soon as possible
Priorities will shift as to best value as you move through the game. if someone needs to war a lot to get ores, then hero and power or research potions make sense if not maxed. Likewise probably for strategic rushers. Definitely only get potions with RMs though. The RM to Gem conversion cost is insane for anything other than a training potion. Is why a book of heroes remains an attractive option.
Using hero and power potions for every war is 85gems effectively though per week, which is almost a BoH every month you lose. Personally my heroes are 90/80/55/30 and i dont use them, the difference isnt that big and i rather get one hero level extra per month by buying gems with raid medals.
I disagree with Hero Potion being the best. While it does max your heroes, it’s still only for an hour. Meanwhile the Research Potions permanently allow you to skip a day of progress in your laboratory. Also Hero Potions are given throughout the month with challenges. So unless you’re constantly attacking to need your heroes max. I’d stick with Research potions

Good tips except the Hero portions part. Always go for the Research portion. 1 hour temporary hero boost worth nothing. Always go for those books of heroes whenever you have gems and maxed it out. Those hero boosts can’t defend your base in cwl or clan wars. Heroes are the best defense and offense in game.
In my opnion and bases om your time saving builder options should be the best because one builder potion is 30 and the hammers are 120 something so if you have 6 builders and you but 3 builder options you would get 170 hours because its 9 hours for one builder potion and the hammer migth get one building faster done but the other potion does 6 builders but if you only have around 3 or 4 Stock to hammers

They should be boosted. Pet potions are in RM shop from time to time, not always. Roughly every 2 weeks.

Bro can you help me i am th13 and have unlocked 6th builder way back when it was hard af . I keep using my gems to finish the upgrade which take about 2-3 days and don't have much source left to earn gems . I have maxed out gem mine which gives 5 gem per day 🫤 not worth it . Can you tell some ways some from which i could earn gems i almost have completed many achievements just few higher th are left thats why i am pushing at legend to complete them .

"If you have Lab Maxed, you dont' need LAb Potion"... like who the fuck has Lab maxed? If you work on your Village with 5 builders everytime, the Lab will always be the bottleneck, you max building first than lab, like always. The potions are the only thing that allows you to fix the bottlenecking. So tbh, doesn't matter what kind of player you are, the only time when you don't need lab potions is a short window of time where you will get to the next TH anyway. And that also applied to maxed ppl with No Maxed Heroes, cuz with the Hero potion around it is not worth to keep builders free without getting to the next TH just cuz your Heroes are not maxed
It is very easy and quick to upgradesnd max all essential troops that you actually use for every townhall. Hero potions I do understand but at one point or another you will want to upgrade your heroes. It comes down to saving time or saving resources and seeing as the only bottleneck every single player can never get out of is ofcourse walls. Wall rings are when you look at the full picture of maxing, by far the best way to spend raid medals
If you buy gold pass the lab is finished rather fast. Every month i get at least a Book of Spells and Fighting, which easily reduces lab time by some 25ish days. Buying all research potions and some from other sources yields another 15day reduction of lab time. Doing some DE lab upgrades with a hammer saves another 12days. Thats like 75days of lab time in a month for me. Also, i dont need quite a bit of stuff which can wait anyway (siege machines for example). Right now it looks like ill max my lab months before everything else, so ill eventually stop buying research potions.
I only spend raid medals on training potions / Dark Elixir / reinforcements

I disagree with 80% if what you said. The best value for Raid Medals are in fact Research Potions if your goal is maxing out and Wall Rings at a certain point, but this is pretty situational and most probably at a higher Town Hall level(TH14, 15 etc.). For CWL Medals at lower Town Halls you shouldn't get Hammers as they are pretty wasteful. Your upgrade times are very short and not that expensive. Instead of buying a Hammer of Fighting for 120 Medals for a 3 day upgrade, you could farm a bit and use 3 Research Potions for 60 Medals. Hammers of Heroes are not bad, but are more situational, when you get too behind with you heroes upgrades. I will personally go for Hammer of Fighting/ Spells on Dark Troops and Dark Spells, since getting dark elixir for heroes and laboratory can be pretty difficult. The best way to see what you need focus on is making an account on Clash Ninja and see how your progression is going. Good luck to everybody!

Don’t waste your ore on frozen arrow. Invis vial and archer puppet is still the best combo for AQ. They need to buff frozen arrow to do a tiny amount of splash freeze.

@@vanessaxoax7646even better than invisibility vial? Look at her increased damage while that is active. She can one or two shot many different buildings and she can’t be targeted during that time, which saves her life if an inferno tower is locked on to her while she’s shooting another building.

I use raid medals to buy 3 Research potion and 3 clock tower and 3 training potion. Selling click tower and training potion gets me 60 gems every week. And Research potions saves the hammer of troops. I upgrade monolith scattershot Xbow inferno and eagle artillery using hammer of building because putting them on upgrade makes your base vulnerable to loots

The hammer of heroes is the best hammer. Having heroes down for war and CWL is a major hinderance, and the medal cost is balanced by the scarcity of dark elixer. Maybe its not the best in terms of builder time, but don't let this guy fool you into thinking its inefficient. DE is annoying to farm and a major bottleneck at later townhalls

My rules ~ Save every gem I get ,, no spending on anything besides 1 gem training boosts . Raid medals save them buy research potions ,training potions . League medals -save them and only buy hammer for major defence like schatter shot inferno tower ,eagle ,clan castle .
