@@clipsfootball6053 I use them on my Xbox 1. The sound quality is really good, especially for games like Apex Legends where the direction of footsteps is key. I also use them to listen to music while I'm playing games simultaneously and I can't make any complaints. The detachable mic is a good concept when you don't wanna have it in your field of vision or touching you (even though it's bendable). The cushions keep you isolated and focused on the game, but do let you hear what's around you. Such as a loud bang, or somebody yelling nearby. So I recommend them. At least give them a try and return them if you don't like them. Believe it or not, I used to use Beats By Dr Dre. Headphones, but after getting damaged, I went to buy some gaming headphones. I've never bought a pair, and for the price (around 65 USD) they seemed like a good choice. And I have no regrets about my purchase. Long cord, I'll say that right now lol. Oh yeah, and the volume control i love! When the audio during certain moments gets too loud, and I don't feel like changing the settings in game, it's really convenient.
omen 800 still goat headset, i have returned them in warranty for some issues and i bought those ones at like 33$ on amazon i hope they are a good deal.

Probably best headset but downside is that the foam on the ear pads fall off within a year and customer support is non-existent
2:14 I tested this myself and the surround sound does work on ps4, but you have to connect it to the USB on the console instead of the controller and I assume it works the same on Xbox and the same on ps5/series X Edit: I also tried the surround sound on the switch by connecting it by the adapter by USB in the dock, and it didn’t work.

HS35, the cheapest Corsair headset in the range. I have them, fantastic sound and breathable mesh pads, but plastic construction and the detachable mic can sound hollow. They are very lightweight and come in a few different colors too.
HS60 Pro vs HyperX Cloud Core?
I just got the HS50 Pro...They are on their way and I just realized I didnt need to pay much more to get the 60 Pros... Should I be butt hurt or is it not a insanely huge diff as I am a gamer and rely on good sound

I love the hs60's had them for about a year or so and out of the blue i can only hear out of the left ear now 😭
had my HS60 Pro for about 2 years now and yesterday the same thing happened. Now i can only hear from the LEFT ear.....they're going into the garbage and i'll either buy a new pair or upgrade to a lil higher sound quality headset. I think Corsair needs to investigate the issue because i've read several ppl have had the same speaker failure in the right ear of the headset. And yes, the settings in windows 10 for sound balance are all correct....no settings changed. The headsets failed while i was wearing them playing a round of Hell Let Loose.
@@dangerously72 i upgraded to the Corsair virtuoso after this I've had them for two + years now with no issues, quite heavy usage although the way it sits on my head is a bit painful at times, but I do agree they do need to fix this issue because I loved my hs60 it was comfortable and sounded amazing but the virtuoso is better all across the board apart from comfortability, I occasionally use earbuds any from of high quality wireless or wired, currently running wired akg's which I got for about £300 I have them ran through my 48v preamp so I can monitor and change their spectrum.
Is this USB connected or jack?
I've had these for a little under a year and the mic shat on me. I have to use an external mic and cannot use it for any other console use.

I have the HS60 Pros and I recently misplaced the mic. The only replacements I can find are for the HS50, 60, and 70, but not the pro’s. Does anyone know if it still works or if not where I can get the right replacement?

I don't really like detachable and omnidirectional microphones, for the reason they are easier to break but other than that good for their current price Side note: experience may vary since I have a Corsair mouse I'd already had icue downloaded and it was simple to set up with the headphones

I just bought these yesterday and I can say the USB adaptor is NOT required in order to use the mic, in fact, it lowers the volume and makes the mic harder to hear.
this for some reasons has feedback issues for me, i can say on multiple occasions that it has almost made me go deaf from the feedback. not saying its a bad headset its really good, its just for me i have feedback

Yes just don’t use the sound card and only use the 3.5 mm headphone jack and plug it into your controller.

I'm looking to buy these and it seems audio bleed is an issue with a lot of headsets, severity being the only difference, so I guess the only way to fix this is by configuring the settings in the software for both the mic and headphones.

Nitr0gen TL;DR - Kraken: idk. Arctis Series: beaten by everything else; all versions are just more expensive, bad simulated surround sound, and RGB waste of money. HS60: overall good but beaten by MH751. MH751: build quality a bit iffy but comes with 2 year warranty in box accepted by Amazon I believe. I haven’t researched the Arctis 1 or Kraken. I did look at the Arctis 3 but stumbled onto the HS60 because of how bad the Arctis series is compared to anything else. Then I was looking at both the HS60 and MH751 from Coolermaster because of how well received it’s audio and mic quality were. I bought the MH751 and so far after a week they’re great but the only thing that bothers me is that the right ear cup swivels a bit loose. IIRC the HS60 is slightly cheaper than the MH751 but the MH751 has much better audio according to reviews. Both have surround sound versions (MH752 for Coolermaster) but that feature kinda kills the audio quality and raises the price significantly so stick to normal stereo. Since you talked about mic, MH751 does have crosstalk so if you don’t configure your settings right, people can hear themselves “echo” and hear what you’re listening to, even if the mic is disconnected. Personally not a huge problem since I needed a convenient mic, not necessarily the absolute best. From my understanding, all these headsets - the Kraken, Arctis series, HS60, and MH751 - all have this crosstalk issue so it’s a matter of audio quality and mic sound quality, and I can only speak for the MH751 which sounds great.
