The new Corsair HS60 Haptic gaming headset is awesome. Adding another layer of immersion while gaming is always something I enjoy and I think they nailed it here.

i really apreciate when you do the glasses test!!, always the best for hardware reviews.

I had headphones with rumble, back in the day with Battlefield 3 - so I have a general understanding how what it would be like. it was pretty immersive.
I've been using the HS50 for the past 2 years and I have nothing to complain about them. Really good sound quality on the drivers and on the mic. Of course there's some tear on the earcups but the thing is still strong as new all around
Ive had HS50s in the past and the left side stopped working after a month rip
That premium back of head shot. lol
I'm getting them today so I'll post here if it works with my PS4 pro. edit: it does work with the PS4 out the box the only issue is the volume control on the headset doesn't work you have to adjust the volume by hitting the PS button and adjusting the volume that way. The haptic feedback is amazing it doesn't annoy me at all. They're comfortable af and I have big ears and these don't bother me but if your ears stick out then they probably will. The sound is really good and tracking enemies in-game is excellent. I can't wait to try this out with PS5 and the DS5.
picked up a refurbished HS60 haptic black for $50 on amazon. thanks for the input!
About 7 years ago or so there was a headset by Genius called the GX Gaming Cavimanus. It was a 7.1 surround sound headset that has a motor in each cup so it vibrated. That thing was awesome. You could hear and feel a tank go by. Good times.
Like skullcandy crushers
@@monkeyjam294 Kind of. But the Crushers aren't surround sound are they?
@@truealchiemist there are different versions the crusher360 were great with a ton of power to the bass but there was only a limited amount and the crusher anc is also really good as it has a good balance plus noise canceling. They are really good for music with or without the bass hepatic feature on
@@monkeyjam294 which one is better? Co i want a haptic feedback headphone… is it the headset on the video or those you guys mentioned?
Wow i thought I'd never see someone bring that headset up. I used it a long time ago back in the day from like 2013 to like 2016 or so and they kicked ass, they were actually the first ever headset i owned so when eventually those wore off and i needed new ones i was so let down to find out that in the industry having headsets with bass motors was basically non-existant, the downgrade to gaming and music was really sharp going to any other headset i had ever since until' i needed another new right now and by accident saw a store i was gonna order from had these on a 50% discount sale for the winter holidays and noticed they had bass motors. Pretty much an instant order.
Appreciate the review, bought my pair
Thanks for the glasses test too! :)
Considering the arctic camo and the ginger beard, you could have opened up the video with "Hey guys it's Yukon Cornelius P here!"
Looks like an awesome headset. Not sure how I feel about the haptic feedback, but it probably feels like an ear massage 👌
Hey nice to see you here love your vids and think i might get this for Christmas.
AWESOME VIDEO Randomfrankp! Good job 👍
Dang!!!! floating earcups and headband!!! Wow so innovative!
My HS60 Haptic lasted around 1.5 years, and been working great, but the left ear where it rotates ~30 degrees has broken and no longer seals the ear. And I'm noticing the sound levels aren't aligned with the left and right side after it broke. But before it broke, it was great and specially the microphone where it did outstanding noise cancellation. Everyday I talk about 2-3 hours with my friend over skype and I'm living on a site where a lot building constructions are going on(next to my building, almost all the surroundings) but fortunately, my friend doesn't hear anything what's going on outside. In fact, I have to wear it always and listen to something when not talking to minimize those construction sound. I play PUBG PC casually, the sound of this headphone was great as I was able to hear footsteps and determine the distance of those strangers and I can immediately locate enemies from there gun shot. However, I felt the sound a bit low. It's because, when I was playing, I had to make sure there are no outside noise including my Ceiling fan over my head. In this case, a sealed room with Air Conditioning would work fine. Now the Haptic, I always make sure to turn it off while gaming. A several times, when I'm looting and some snake guys start shooting/graneding, I merely get a heart attack and shaking my body before I react to that strangers firing. By that time, I'm already dead. 🤣 So the Haptic isn't for me. I hope my review helps who is going to choose this one. However, I'm now going with the HyperX Cloud 2. I think that would do a better job than this at the same price range in my country.
Bro I love ur vids!!
I'm super excited for the best gaming headsets from 2020!!!!
I have a Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (headset with haptic bass) and used it playing COD: Warzone, and damn all explosions and gunshots are so realistic
Not gonna lie, the arctic camo kills it for me. If there was different color schemes I would be more than happy to throw my money at it.
Yeah I understand because if I had a different setup then I would probably buy a different headset but this headset goes perfect with the design of my setup do that means I’m definitely gonna buy this.
There is another Version now

I just masked it and sprayed the disgusting cammo
I see you Rockin' that Pink Guy shirt. How exquisite.
thank you corsair and randomfrankp
What's the wallpaper you currently have put on??? love the video man!!!
If you're on a budget, sentey arches 4730 is 40 bucks. However the ear cups are a bit shallow so they cause some discomfort, but for that price I can't complain. Been using them for years
My Razor headset with haptic is insane. Tons of rumble, but it hits so hard the mic will sound like you're a robot. Other bad is is that it hits hard enough to shake your eyes a little kinda crazy when you notice it
needed a new corsair headset anyway, pretty convenient time
I love the glasses test, since i use glasses myself
Bruh this headset is so satisfying
That headset would look great with the arctic camo DS4 controller.
So would the razor nari be the best option or the Corsair?
I hope they fixed the earcups. I bought an HS70 SE sometime in 2018 and by November 2019, the ear padding had come off the headset. So i bought a Steelseries Arctis 5. This seems really cool, but i wouldn't want to have that experience with the earcups again
Honestly tho, the Turtle Peach PX22 are underrated, they are "old" yes but they sound GOOD the mic is amazing
im going with a white and grey setup so i love the camo
Mad respect for the shirt
I bet these paired with the whirlwind fx vortex would be sick!
That mic isn't bad at all, nice
Got the woojer vest gotta get this now
have you ever heard about the "active cooling" headset that cools your ear ??
Question which one is better this or the razer with the haptic as well?
Any plans on reviewing the JBL Quantum one?
Crispy b-roll footage. 😎
I wonder whats better tho this or Cloud Alphas or any other good gaming headset (currently looking for one and genuinely curious)
I bought this headset twice The gaming sound quality is totally awesome, I really love it, the haptic setting is also simple; that slider is really satisfying to control haptic level, the rumbling driver makes you feel energic to playing any games with bass, the design is simple & clean, it is also comfy for long period of using because of soft earpads & plushy foam 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 But there is only 1 problem, the headset durability is fragile, my regular used of this makes the headset exterior deteriorate for a long period of use maybe because my head is too big & I need to stretch / bend it (a little bit of force) anytime I wore it. That's why I bought it twice, 1st the left side of earcup was broken & I keep use it for a month with left earcup hanging, 2nd also the left grip of earcup was cracked & I keep use it too for months. Both of headsets were broken under a year for each. It is a very convenience gaming headset with many features (1 that I like so much is a detachable mic 👍🏻👍🏻) & rich haptic bass sound quality, I can't recommend other headset with haptic bass quality other than this, coz I'm a fan of skull thumper 🎧🎧 I would like to purchase for the 3rd time of Corsair HS60 Haptic & I plan to purchase 2 pcs in case it got broken real quick I still have 1 😆😆, but it is not so affordable for around $100. I hope on the future Corsair would produce more headset with this haptic bass quality & simple control, but plzzz with sturdy durability 🙏🏻 I think there is Razer Kraken Hypersense, but still Corsair HS60 Haptic wins my favor for gaming headset with superb bass quality & simple control 👍🏻👍🏻
My problem with the headset is that the cable is messed up everytime I make the cable straight it tangles again u have the same problem?
@@jeremykip6441 every device with cables have difficulty to control bro 😆🙏🏻
@@AGYR08 ye im thinking of replacing the cable to a normal cable

I don’t know if you take requests but can you do a review on the steel series Arctis 7 wireless?
I need this for VR
Review the dt770 or dt990 please, I am thinking about getting it
What monitor stand do you use? I cant find it on your amazon or in the description
I have this headset and I love it
How's the haptics vs the Nari Ultimate?
Didn't know this was a thing for headsets, cool. This isn't the only one is it? Any other recommendations for headsets with Haptic feedback?
Hey!Which combination is better for fps ..... and others ... 5 3600 rtx 2060 or 7 2700x rtx 2070?
I would love a review for the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2
Hey frank can you please review the new airpods pro feature?
I immediately liked the video the moment I saw the shirt 🤣
Love this headset. Corsair 👍
Wow this is a great headset
if you play simulators is it worth getting the hs60 haptic or is the regular good enough?
Thank you.
I SEE YOU WITH THE NK65 COLLAB
randomfrankp: not only with this headset are you gonna hear sounds like gunfire, etc. you are gonna feel them. Me: THEY'RE IN THE TREES.. AHHHHHHH MY LEG!
So, who's the best? The Nari ultimate or this one?
Should I get the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro or these Corsairs? I really don't mind the wireless as I'll use them wired all the time, so which should I get?
I can see the camo scheme fitting for FPS gamers if anything.
I wonder if these are on display anywhere like a Best Buy to give these a try...... sadly probably not with COVID.
I see you rocking the Blumen in the background
Please make a comparison between this and the Nari Ultimate :)
You should make a review of the new roccat elo headsets
I'm thinking about buying these but I already have the hyperx cloud alphas. Are these better in your opinion or anyone who owns them?
Literally typing this comment while wearing this headset, i only bought it because of ur review :)
frank: explosions gunshots you gonna fell it. me: ...wait what
Bought this caz of ur review :)
Before you buy I have the hs70 wireless and it’s uncomfortable, after 2 months the leather coushen in the top goes away and it hurts the top of your head. The ear pads are comfortable for your ears tho.
His t-shirt is legendary I wanna get that so bad just don't have the money
Are the haptic feedbacks directional or does the whole headset just shake like other haptic devices?
Could you review the Corsair hs35?
Can u do a review for razer deathadder essential pls
Literal movie quality.... Love watching his videos
remember razer hypersense? i was beyond sxcited to have my chair and keyboard and mouse and headset all rumbling with game sounds. They've still only released the headset.. whats up with that?
What happened to the Samsung G9 monitor? I dont see it on the desk anymore.
How are they for music? I have the Razer Nari Ultimates and music is SO GOOD with the haptic. Well being shitty Razer it broke already and i need a replacement that isnt Razer. I cant go back to non haptic music sucks without it now
Which has better haptic feedback? This or the razer nari ultimate?
this or skullcandy crusher evo for sound and heptic?
Can u compare these to the black shark V2?
that t-shirt is epic
Only major issue I have with corsair headsets are the fact the foam ear cups keeps coming off. I had them replaced once but the glue keeps wearing out..
The microphone blew me up, best sounding mic for that price point!
no
@@doubtfulclock9827 cooler master mh752 (at the lower price)
Lol for £130 this sounds like a wireless headset mic, you can get much better even for cheaper (like the mh752)
@@doubtfulclock9827 lol

Do you prefer these or arctis pro wired?
Can I use Dolby Atmos or DTS with Corsair HS60 Haptic?
what knife is that at 0:24 ?
