Thanks dude!! 🤘
Waiting for a new video from you too :)
Hey Chris 🔥🤘🏼
I need a mechanic like you in the nyc area. You’ll make a killing just cause of your honesty. Awesome video explaining everything
Next oil change, I will let drain for 2 weeks...
Better make it 3 weeks
Wait Charles, don't you do that already lol.
@@bluej511 Think of how much labor id have to charge a customer! LOL
When the quick oil change places do the whole thing in 10 min and forget the drainplug. I don't go to those places and just do it myself I would to go Paul, Jamie, or Charles shop 100% if I have a European car or I cant work on it myself. Unfortunately I cannot go to Paul,Jamie, or Charles shop because on on the other side of the world. I also cant afford to send Charles my car and then him charging me 3 weeks of labour😂.
@@HumbleMechanic I would be better off buying another car if I sent the car to you.(not because you charge a lot because of shipping 😂
I found this channel because of Humble Mechanic and it quickly became one of my favorite automotive channels that I follow. Keep up the good work Jamie!
Awesome! Thank you!
Can't wait for 'The TRUTH behind 10 viral shorts that got me a BILLION views' I will never probably afford any of the luxurious cars you work on in your workshop, but your videos have me spellbound. Best wishes from a fan in Mumbai, India.
Road to a BILLION!! lol. Thanks!👊
@@JamiesGarage1 Most welcome! 👊
I've never seen an approach like yours! you are calm and sincere... Keep it up
Your videos deserve more than 100M views bud.
❤
Best mechanic shorts on youtube!! Keep at it. Congratulations on the channel 🎉
Brilliant!, love your sense of humor....love your vids also!
Love Your Work… Jamie! Wish you nothing but The best
"Make better cars." I laughed out loud. 🤣🤣🤣
0:50 had the same problem on a W140 and W210. Took the pressure line for the lock and a bicycle pump - the trunk poped right open.
I wish the w220 had the pump under that back seat like those cars, would have made life much easier for sure!
I would die out of happiness to find such a bad mechanic as you :D. Love you Jamie! You are a blessing to the car community.
Well said
Congrats Jamie.....Love the channel!
You are so entertaining Jamie, love all your content, keep up the great work!
I appreciate it! thank you
Good work mate! We support you
Excellent video, Oh and I am pretty sure I saw ChrisFix around here somewhere. 👍
Love your videos bro 💯❤️❤️
I remember overfilling the engine with one litre because the car was on a slope. Removed it before starting and its good now( have changed the oil since then too. I used a cartridge filter kind of like the BMW ones but on a Mazda) Amazing video as always Jamie!.
I’m still trying to figure out how to pick out the right footage on my regular videos to make KZhead shorts. Keep up the good work
i actually the jokes you did in your shorts like the moaning and hidden jokes. always the funniest shit lmao
Thanks! I’m literally doing it to entertain myself and hope that others think it’s funny too. 😂
with great views numbers ... comes great responsibilities Jamie never disappoint !
Solid video, I missed the shorts, I always assume there is a tiny bit of trolling when it comes to your tiktok/shorts content!
Great vids keep it up!
Great format
I absolutely LOVE that you did this and were able to "put some trolls in their place"!
I love to watch your videos its all hilarious 😂 and the way u replay to the heters kills me💣
Love this format, maybe you could do it more often :)
Thanks for the feedback! I like it too
Love your videos Jamie, I’m a mechanic here in the UK and we do everything as prescribed by the main dealer. I think there are a lot of guys saying things that are with the best intentions, reasonable but at the end of the day the call comes down to the main dealers specifications as we are only mechanics and don’t know everything! Sometimes we have to refer to the experts. That way our ass is covered! Respect man! Keep the videos coming! 👍👍🔧🔧
We’re always learning too and we want what’s best for the customer. 🤘
great job cleaning the glass. Been through that before with glass repair.
Absolutely love your videos 👍
I absolutely love that you commented! 😀
Hey Jamie, love ur content! Here's an idea for a future video. Tool recommendations on tools that WE should have. Like specialist tools that do something SO small that in the big picture improved our daily life as a Mechanic. For example, a tool that I thought I don't need till you recommend was a hydronic hood strut prop tool.
Good idea! Humble mechanic has a great video for DIYers but I think the little odd tools that nobody thinks of is a good idea too
Really enjoyed the video I can tell you love your job and take pride in doing it correctly
Thank you! I really do
Hey Jamie, do you know the story of the mechanical engineers and Mobil 1?
Perhaps we can discuss the effectiveness of an engine flush liquid (liqui molly)
love your videos you’re awesome wish i could work there😅
Keep on doing it all your way!
I love the videos. I always learn something. I have an e36, F85, W222 hybrid and my daughter Q5. So I do all the work myself. Love the tips.
You probably stay busy fixing all those cars! Lol. Glad I can help 🤘
Great job bro.
Absolutely awesome video idea and execution man! You're a virality wizard. I did my best to get your stolen content taken down, but it didn't work. Boo! Keep going. 500K subscribers already is absolutely insane.
Thanks dude! I love what you do too 👊
VERY happy for your success!! However, lol, I've had to push that trunk release button from the back seat of my Benz once and it's pretty simple once the seat is out. Yes, you drill a hole in the plastic that is normally used for the ski sack, it is easily plugged. If the battery is dead, then I'd drill like you did. Wishing you huge success man, love your channel!
Hi Jamie, awesome vid & great responses! Keep it up! I would like to share my bad experience with you with respect to sucking the oil at the Peugeot Service. Many dealers do not take the appropriate time to perform these tasks, they did not place the hose correctly and then filled the oil with the oil containers that have with the pre-filled amount of oil needed for the car. When I checked the oil at my home (only 3 mi away) it was black and 1 liter over the MAX limit (BAD!!!). This happened many times (all during the warranty period). When I changed the oil myself, doing it the traditional way, many clots of oil came out. Conclusion: it all depends on the car as you mentioned but overall how you do the job.
Good point! 👍🏻
Congrades on all the views! You need to post more!! Greetings from the Old Jarhead in WNC
I'm actually working on posting more, I'm also playing around with different formats to see what works best for the viewers. Thank you for your service! 💪
Yes, definately a very cool idea amdmi wish i could come to your workshop 😂
I like you playing hardball with McLaren 😉👍🏼
Awesome video. Good mechanic just like me . Well done sir
Yes, I liked it. Great video
about the oil thing, i am confused on how the people think, i say that no matter what car, its better to extract the oil then to release a bolt from the bottom, i always do that with my e34 and recently i let the trsuty mecanhic check if there is any oil left, not a single drop. Plus i see it as a win win since you might wear out the bolt more every oil change. so why not ?
Jaime, all of your videos are always not only very informative but down right funny as hell. People just don’t take a little time to get to know about someone’s experience or background before taking them straight to the bottom.
The last one is so funny bro!😂😂😂😂
Thanks!
@@JamiesGarage1 expecting more content from the new garage renovation and the E46 M3
@@omerkurt9406 Hopefully soon.. The hurricane pushed everything back and I've been focusing on growing my staff at the shop. I'm almost finally caught up so I'll be getting back to the garage renovation soon. 🤘
its Rob Raven for McLaren
Awesome!
It's the Dunning-Kruger Effect
I am surprised your bmw how to series wasn’t involved in this, especially the one that bmw commented on
That one did well too. 😂
Anyone else want to see a collab of all the best KZhead mechanics, Jamie, car ninja, Chris fix and car wizard to name a few?
Good video! Interesting to know more about behind the scenes and the works of a big time KZheadr. I love your Easter eggs would like to see more of it and more video of you modifying Audis and bemmers, preferably on a budget so it's easy to it for us viewers. Ooh and also, maybe this is just me being a bit of a nerd, but I'd love it if you started filming in 1080p 50-60p, most of us have screens that supports it, but way to few KZheadrs use the opportunity for damn smooth videos. And thanks for being awesome 🙏🏻
Thanks for the feedback! It helps me know what you all are interested in. 💪
@@JamiesGarage1 “The stolen video” made me curious. 😁
You are the best mechanic
Awesome.
I just showed my friend at work that video of the McLaren. We work in a body shop. Love the uk eyebrow raise. I like European cars I think it’s interesting how they’re put together but I hate working on them to make money.
frank buckley 1 second ago nice fix i wonder how many cars get robbed using that trick lol
Jamie!!!!
It’s crazy that I enjoy this guys videos so much because when I’m with him he’s really not that captivating! Start carrying some of those eggs 🥚 around Jamie! 😂
I’ll start being more captivating when I’m around you. 😂
"make better cars" and that's a point.
Just started to watch and i can't wait. I was an ASE certified master tech when i lived in the US. I love some of the comments when i watch yt videos, i laugh so hard every time. Sometimes shit isn't as it seems. Oh bolt is stuck, why you heating it up and not using WD-40 lol. Cuz WD-40 is a lubricant not a penetrant lol.
exactly. And to be fair, I didn't include all the information which is sometimes intentional and sometimes I just cant since I only have 60 seconds
@@JamiesGarage1 you, mcm,m539 and Charles are my absolute favorite. The 5 of you combined is ridiculous knowledge put together.
Bro your are the best in world 🙏
Wow, thanks!
I am still howling when I see your face. The first thing that pops up in my mind is the new name for "Tranny Fluid" gender neutral shift juice. That's when I subscribed and never regretted it. See what I drive, know a lot about oil. You're a gem.
My phone blew up with text messages from friends after that video! Lol. I guess it got shared in all the private Facebook groups.
Why didn’t you do the airbag one?
should I? Technically it was my most viral video... I just didn't get the credit. LOL.
Truthfully I was really hoping to see the steering wheel emblem video on this list😭
I might be dedicating a whole video just on that... Lots of crazy stuff happening with that one behind the scenes
@@JamiesGarage1 definitely something I’ll be looking forward to 🙏🏾
nice fix i wonder how many cars get robbed using that trick lol
good video
I hope Rob from Mclaren sees your response 🤣
I think he should give me a car to enjoy for a few weeks so I can give my honest opinion. 😅
I think you could have helped mclaren , or atleast passed the email on to the cars owner (you didn't mention if you did)
Jaime your shorts and “Easter eggs” are very funny. Every one of these was entertaining, and even dare I say “educational” for some of the idiot mob in the comments. Keep it up!
Thanks TJ! I also want to say that I appreciate how long you've been a subscriber and I know I can count on you to watch each video I post. 💪
Notification Squad!🔥🔥🔥
that ooh yeah 😂 i always rewatch ...thats why you getting shit ton of view's
Just put it on repeat, repeat repeat...
Well clearly, the Mercedes dealership does it wrong too. Blind leading the blind over there I tell you what.😂
Do people ever wonder about the amount of oil that’s left in the oil cooler and doesn’t come out? 😱
The less someone watches of your video the more expertise they have on what you're doing. It's a fact, and they will certainly share that with you
Exactly! 😂
You know, all you need to do now is make a short of a short showing society how shorts reveal how stoopid most of society is. And I know you can do it. Shorts are a great mirror of society, or lack thereof.
how much money 100M views makes?
Shorts don’t pay much at all. I can probably take my Wife out for a nice dinner. Lol
That 100ml of old oil in the 4500ml of new one? 😂 Damn when I change my oil my oil cooler hast about 500ml of old oil in it and I dont care 🤠
Jamie this is free education to your haters, charge them a fee at least 😂😂
👌👌👌👌
Ignore all the haters, nitpicks, and armchair mechanics except the ones that tell you Grandmaster Flash does the scratching and Grandmaster Melle Mel does the rapping.
Haha! Thanks ✌
Easy mistake to make about McLaren's address, the town where these poorly assembled cars are made is pronounced WHOA KING.🤪
I would like more content where you kindly trash high end luxury car brands for getting caught lacking in QC
Alan Watts been quiet ever since you posted this video.
It's a shame that shorts views don't lead to even half the amount of views for the regular content.
I'm happy with any amount of views I get. I'm having fun no matter what 💪
@@JamiesGarage1 That is the best way to work on KZhead, isn't it.
The McLaren letter.... That wasn't a bad thing, was it? Also, couldn't you just ask the customer first if it was ok to share his data? If McLaren could solve an issue in their production process with this by f.e. looking at who had to make sure the regarding parts were put on the car correctly, isn't that a good thing?
Guy's too smart to be done by some armchair KZhead comments. Best on KZhead, just wish he posted more
I'm working on posting more. I have a few videos lined up that I'll be releasing soon. All a little different format to see how you guys like it. The build videos take soooo long to shoot and edit
i want to hear about the stolen video. I hate theft.
You're asking for a sub, here it is. I've seen the ones with glass and McLaren and oil. Someone stole your video, am I missing something?
Thanks! The stolen video is a bit of a story, I might shoot a video just on that
@@JamiesGarage1 If You could please would be great
I love armchair mechanics, we would be in a world of hurt if not for them...
I mean, how else do we learn about cars if we don't have people telling us how wrong we are? 😂
My only complaint with your W220 trunk drilling is that there was still a way to do it without drilling the hole. I do agree that even by removing the back seats you're still not getting into the trunk because, even if you drilled a massive hole, that's where the fuel tank is located. Back to the rear of the trunk. There's a plastic frame that the license plate sits in, you can remove that, pop out the drivers side license plate light, and you'll have direct access to the rod to open the trunk.
You are exactly right. That was the other option we gave the customer. I didn't want to drag this video out to explain that but we'd have to break that cover to access the screws for the latch assembly since that cover is bolted from inside the trunk. Then we'd have to order a new cover, have it painted and install it. This would have taken at least one week or more to get the car back to the customer. I can't remember the exact details, but I think I remember the customer was here from out of state and needed to get back so we didn't have the luxury of time. But good point and yes, that's the only other option that we could come up with.
I'm 100 million Percent sure that if you would of have given that Maclaren executive the vim number of that car your customer aka the owner would have been banned for life from buying another Maclaren. Typical Maclaren snobbery
Waiting for the haters lol
Way to shove it in all their faces👍👍
You don't just leave a child in your trunk at all times?
I'll need to add a kid to my roadside emergency kit 😂
@@JamiesGarage1 Imagine the kid opens the trunk and flys out the back.
Great video, interesting to see the backstage. 🙂
