After that, Kobe wasn't in his prime anymore and was infested with injuries and meanwhile Lebron was rapidly improving as a leader on Miami and their team vs team battles became very one sided. Once again, look at their 2005-2009 battles. THOSE were something to watch

The difference between Kobe now and Kobe 2+ years after is minimal but he was a little faster at this time, which helped him get shots easier and he had great legs. Kobe was the total package up until he got injuries, I think his team and his coaches after Phil were horrible. His age wasn't really in question until he lost to Durant in 2012, who he beat before. Personally I think Durant and Westbrook were better, basketball changes so fast. The team you root for in one year can change completely the next year as well as jerseys and even cities but the real basketball starts in the post season.

Basketball is a team sport. The Cavaliers were crushed by the Celtics. Lebron did all he could but as usual his team did not return the favor and Boston just had the better team. At least he still won 2 rings with Miami though, but Miami always played as a team and that's why they were champions just like the Spurs, Lakers, Celtics, etc.

Man. Kobe is one of the greatest players ever. Top 15 easy, but LeBron is just better at EVERYTHING, but mid range J. And your stats are wrong. Oscar is an all-time great: Let's look his stats: 25.7 PPG, 9.5 APG, 7.5 RPG on 48.7% FG. LeBron: 27.2 PPG, 6.9 APG, 7.2 RPG on 49.8% FG. Similar. But then come playoff time, look at them both: Oscar: 22.2 PPG, 8.9 APG, 6.7 RPG on 46% FG. Every stat below his regular season average. LeBron: 28 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 6.8 APG on 47.8% FG. Not to mention Oscar played with a top 5 all-time player in Kareem. And LBJ's 4 MVPS and 3 FMVPs. You can make a great debate on who's better Kove vs Oscar, but LeBron is absolutely better than both and it's not close.
