Indeed. All your major cult leaders appear to have this in common along with making sure that they get all the money and material possessions from those who follow them. (One notable example: "its all gonna be all right" ) This is coupled with complete control. If you do not do what the cult leader says then they threaten to excommunicate you or kick you out of their group (or so called church). Like- the EXACT same thing happened with Joe Smith and he started a little community around his narcissistic teachings that made him out to be a chosen one, and it only turned into a religion because enough people joined. They primarily stuck to Utah and Idaho (essentially hiding from the rest of the USA), then once everyone cooled down a little, they felt free to branch out from there. They took Christianity, put their own spin on it, turned the cult leader into a prophet, and boom- ya got a new cult, which then evolves into a religion. Actually, she’s not charged because they don’t have the evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she was involved in any conspiracy or in the murders of Charles Tammy, JJ and Tylee. The state doesn’t go around charging people because of who they’re acquaintances are and who people associate with that’s not how the criminal justice system works and I’m not sticking up for Melaine those are just facts.

They heard something, for she went knocking on her door in the middle of the night and the door was locked and nobody answered, even though both Lori and Chad were inside. In the morning the first thing they asked Lori was where was JJ. After that, every adult went to see a property, JJ was not with them and she never asked who is watching this small autistic child or where he is…come on…connect the dots.

Nobody answered, even though both Lori and Chad (at least) were in. The first thing she and David asked Lori in the morning was if Jj is ok. Then, they all went to see a property and she never once questioned who was watching this small autistic child…she also knew Lori said Jj was a zombie and she knew what happened to zombies. Charles was killed, Tylee disappeared….Tylee was called a zombie before and she was present. Stop trying to defend her. Maybe she did not do it herself, but she definitely knew about it and was ok with it. If your friend has a pool party the day her brother fatally kills her husband and then she doesn’t tell you about the incident for days, she has an affair, her daughter disappears, you have some suspicions about a small child one night and the you NEVER see that child again, even though you are constantly at Lori’s house….and then police comes knocking at your door, you lie that you have Jj. Well, I can assure you that if the state had evidence and backing up what you said they would have been charged and would be facing a trial however, neither one of them are so that tells me the state doesn’t have any evidence to bring charges against either of them. Say what you want about MG but her testimony is very important as to Chads involvement. Talk about evil and dark. At the very least MG has definitely made a fool of herself for going along with these two for as long as she did. The minute she knew Lori and Chad were having an affair and was ok and played along and still kept company that to me is where her character was on the line.

Unpopular opinion that might sound offensive to some. I am starting to think Tammy knew a hell of a lot more than folks assume. This is not to say she deserved her awful fate. But I am starting to feel as though Chad’s family was heavily indoctrinated and part of his cult. Maybe Lori’s statement that they were “friends” is not as far off as it sounds. If nothing else we have to recognize that Tammy helped Chad run Spring Creek Publishing and therefore was also responsible for publishing his works and those of Julie Rowe. I have a hard time believing that she did so without reading these books and also believing them. By publishing them she was encouraging and propagating this line of thinking. She may have been brainwashed and a victim of her high demand religion and husband but she did knowingly co-sign a lot of this nuttery. I think its obvious the Daybell children are heavily indoctrinated and I find it hard to believe the kids and father would be and the mother would be totally out of it. Not possible imo. Mel Gib really hit this home for me yesterday. She said Chad had spoken in public many times stating Tammy would die young. He didnt hide this belief and it seems to have been something that was known and spoken about long before Lori came along. I think he had Tammy and the kids prepped long in advance that something would happen to her. Tammy was probably just waiting. The kids seemed to accept her death far too strangely imo. Then hearing Emma’s insane convo with Chad after the bodies were found. This family was deeply troubled.
