    • Being built. There's lots of video of the big fairings and payload adapter being tested up at NASA's Armstrong facility up in Ohio in the big vacuum chamber and of hardware in Florida under construction and being tested. An article from a few months ago indicates that an NG first stage might roll to the pad for a rehearsal as early as 3rd quarter of this year.

    • @@mikecloeter4780 Haven't watched many recent launches, have you? They've all been landing in roughly the same spot after the exact same flight time. But couldn't an ambulance be as close as a drone camera operator? William Shatner was 90 and the only ones that rushed him were Bezos, friends, family, and film crews. And still, after all of those people got there...no EMT. Look into it. Only a safe, staged event wouldn't need an ambulance. Hell, every football game you've ever been to has one IN CASE of an emergency. It was also 29 degrees for the Strahan fake launch. Zero jackets. Zero condensation from breath. Zero acknowledgement that it was even cold. Open your eyes and spot the lies!

I'm not saying the ambulance has to be in the promotional video for the program, but it should be seen in a huge wide shot of the area where it "lands." I would also like to see their "astronauts" exit the capsule and act like people do after they get off a rollercoaster...excited, adrenalized, and eager to do it again. All we get is poor, poor acting.

  • Sos The higher the temperature, the more the oceans will evaporate, then there will be more humidity and more precipitation, the desert will decrease plants regarding moisture and carbon dioxide will grow faster, the history of the earth is such that if global warming was antiquity, then it was a paradise for the biosphere,. .and when global cooling was then the evaporation of the oceans would decrease and precipitation would decrease, the desert would increase, this would collapse for the biosphere.The largest desert Antarctica, the hottest place the rainforests. Read the history of the earth, ancient times in global warming for the biosphere was a paradise. For plants, food is carbon dioxide, the more carbon dioxide, the more plants and more animals, carbon dioxide is not evil but good, without carbon dioxide there would be no life, that's a fact!.

    • @@thomasackerman5399 I agree, but this is not the way. Blue Origin don't care about increasing access to space for humanity as a whole, and this is nothing but a vanity project for bezos. They should be focused on delivering the BE-4 engines they promised to ULA that are almost 5 years late. They should be focused on putting useful payloads into orbit and practicing reusability (landing New Glenn). They should be focused on realising the future they claim they want to see of millions of people living and working in space. Sending multimillionaires and celebrities on an expensive 3 minute exclusive joyride is not progressing anything, and is not important.

      @dustaone8521@dustaone85212 жыл бұрын
    • @@dustaone8521 This is about putting people into space and increasing access. This is a point where suborbital allows people to fly who can't afford nor have a rich buddy, like Jared Issacman to pay for a full, multi-day trip into orbit for tens of millions of dollars, and New Shepard is currently doing very well at that. And things are happening. New Glenn is being built as well as BE-4 getting finished up, even though it's not as fast as we'd hope it would be. But that's the nature of this business. It's hard, as Elon would say, very hard.

    • @@thomasackerman5399 Videos of bezos cackling and showering a recovering alcoholic with champagne while he's trying to make a passionate speech about what he experienced proves this is nothing but a vanity project. This isn't progress, this isn't an accomplishment to be celebrated, this isn't furthering our expansion into the stars. It looks bad to the general public and achieves nothing for them other than further demonstrating the widening wealth gap. Blue Origin (or more precisely Smith and bezos) have proven they would rather stifle the progress made by others, rather than actually produce something useful. For expansion into LEO the general public needs to be behind the idea, to stimulate funding, interest, and support. This does the opposite. As for BE-4 and New Glenn, I'll believe it when I see it.
