Blue Origin: For the Benefit of Earth

2023 ж. 9 Сәу.

Earth is the best planet. Yet, its resources are limited. In space, there are abundant resources that will help humanity preserve Earth for future generations. We can go to space for what we need, and move the most polluting industries from Earth into the solar system where they can't stress our environment.
Space is the long-term solution for Earth, humanity's blue origin. Join the mission.

    • And every time Bezos talks about his rocket and the reusability, at this point... its been done. Pls stop talking how you are inventing reusable rockets... lets get to how powerful New Glen will be. I am more excited about the big silver ship, because of all the transparency, footage, the journey we have seen for it to come into fruition. New Glen, inside of a top secret barn at the cape with the big words blue origin, then a video here and their with some animations... Meh.

I can't wait to see the whole cosmos to become a garden! "For the benefit of Earth." I also love the logo of blue origin. It reminds me of a bird dream where I followed the rain of purple feathers and picked a baby bird called Maya way back in high school. Then, I later learned that what we call maya bird in our locality is actually guryon in other locals. Also, whenever I draw the rainbow, I put only 6 colors in which the blue was missing. That blue is the Blue Origin! I remember, my reason for choosing my school National University in Manila is because the uniform is blue. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

  • Reminder that it’s perfectly valid to not support Blue Orgin even if you’re team space. This company has repeatedly proved that all they care about is money, and that they are willing to stifle others to obtain more of it, even if the larger goal of space exploration is held back. Anyone remember when they tried to copyright landing rockets on drone ships so nobody else was allowed to do it, then SUING SpaceX when they did it? Anyone remember when they lost the HLS contract and they sued NASA, costing them MILLIONS of dollars in legal fees that should’ve been spent on… ya know actual exploration?? I’m not faulting the people that like this company, their designs at least look cool, but don’t make people feel bad for their perfectly valid standpoint of criticizing them.

    • He going to be another "Jules Pierre Mao" probably experiment on all of us before any benefit reaches us, there are some major ethical concerns, with space exploration and AI, it will either swallow us whole or take us into a Star Trek future no in between, if there is no ethics is a no go for either it will just be abused, and no wisdom. They'll even blow up the entire planet to reach their needs, without care for any of us. We should not be naive human history is extremely bloody we need to learn from our mistakes especially before going out into the galaxy and bringing about more blood and disaster, respect for other life forms, planets and so forth, we don't know what we will encounter. Proper guidance is crucial.

Heck, with Falcon 9/heavy they have captured the entire West’s launch market, then created their own demand on top of that with Starlink. • OK. Here's what I think. Future generations may be compromised by a lack of open-mindedness that can only come from a longer lifetime per generation. This has been a trend within most groups of people who would lead. We have done something similar with all that has evolved since (and prior to ) Gutenberg, et. al. Because AI is only a fast list of data, humans will be shown to be the ones who actually value life, and could promote such a thing. Future Generations will hopefully always be viewed as children by the next, until there is...no death. We know better than to compromise all future individual life possibilities in this regard. Pure industrialism driven into "space" would be a rude transplant, a doomed one. Cause more people even in space, and a drive to live (longer, and better). LIFE. Not a bunch of everlasting beanstalk...tricks. People are THE RESOURCE. Someday they will be elsewhere in droves. But not if...dust, clay and regolith are better accumulations to chase. Over-compromise to "get stuff" would eventually become stuff getting stuff. H.J. Raymond III
