Unlike a traditional "suicide burn" (where a booster slows down just enough for the velocity to be 0 the moment it hits the ground), the blue origin rockets hover above the pads for a couple of seconds, burning more fuel than is needed. • I had an epiphany today while watching parts of the SpaceX and T-Mobile Partnership. And the epiphany was what a full Starlink Array could mean, as far as Starlink becoming the largest Media & Telecommunications in the World. But more than just the implications of their influence when EVERYONE can access the internet, mobile, data, media etc ANYWHERE. What if Starlink decided to make their network a closed ecosystem? Starlink only network devices, AI encrypted data networks and servers. Starlink ostensibly could create their very own 'internet' and as an Extraterrestrial Data Network it doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of any specific country. Starlink could effectively ban Facebook, Twitter, KZhead etc from their network etc. Or make participation contingent on opening up their networks to free and fair communications for all users irrespective of political affiliation. I've heard of 4d chess but seriously this is take over the digital world and they didn't even notice. Starlink could make using Starlink FREE to Africa, Asia and South America etc with a Starlink Mobile or Tablet etc. And sell literally Millions upon Millions of Electronic Devices to their 8 billion target audience. The new fly wheel make Starlink as cheap as possible for consumers but make businesses and services providers pay through the ass. KZhead, TikTok, Amazon, Facebook sure we will allow you to use Starlink we want 50% gross of all products and services you sell using our Network.

    @Advoc8te4Truth@Advoc8te4Truth Жыл бұрын
    • Just to be clear, it wouldn't fall under the jurisdiction of any country, but those starlink satellites need replacing every five years and I assure you that the ability to launch rockets into space is under the jurisdiction of countries. Also, he could've done the same thing with satellites further out. The only reason he needs so many in such a low orbit is to appeal to gamers.
