You know you have a good horror film when even _leaving_ the house still feels like you are still right in the middle of it.
Also those last five seconds were the perfect send off, like what a cliff hanger, so good.
Yes
Do we think he killed the anomaly or what happen?
@@that_Dominic_guy the anomaly had something to do with the simulation being run on the computer, so I think the implication is that if you shut the computer off, you shut the simulation off. So I think it's probably rendered "safe" to contain, since it's dormant now. Im not sure what the fate of the operator would be in such circumstances.
@@shadixyt since everything inside the house was affected by the scp, then im pretty sure the operator inside was also "removed"
Fletcher didn't just wait for the anomaly to get him but quickly returned to carry out necessary protocols and sacrificed his life. A true staff
i like to think that if he didn't hear anything from the dude that was 2 feet behind him!!! mfer probably thought he was already dead and wanted someone or same way to help or the only way to save himself was to turn off the power in that quick decision.
Did he sacrifice his life? Pretty unclear what the effects of turning off the computer are really, not a lot of substance to this short compared to Overlord IMO
Very likely dead, his name in the credits is glitched, just like O'Neil and West's names were. @@final_animal
@@final_animal Pretty sure the computer is simulating the occupants of the house. The contingency marks the people in the house as a threat. shutting the computer off probably just shuts down the simulated people
@@theninjapro7648 it seems that the person who made the anomaly was trying to create human like robots or machines, and possibly succeded also, there are control panels for every room in the house (folders at least named that), so your theory has alotta merit to it also, the tv may be whatever ai controls the places inner monologue, or a way to inform the owner
Imagine seeing 6 special operatives enter your neighbors house, and then run out in horror with 3 men total, Some true psychological horror.
If you stayed there after it was evacuated they would probably see your heat signature after they secured the neighborhood. But I do agree on the psychological horror, it was great.

really?
@@lukesukulelechannel Yep, I got curious, so I converted them and this is what it said. Not sure what it means tho.
@@squared6867 Prometheus comes from Greek mythology. He is associated with stealing fire from the Gods and rebelled against them and giving the fire to humanity in the form of technology and knowledge. He was tortured for eternity because of it. Since I mentioned the Mythological aspect that I associate the words with, that would be the focus on what I would like to share with you incase it helps. “I am Prometheus” could symbolize defiance against authority which could be represented by SCP that contains them and could be seen as somewhat a form of Authority since these anomalies are essentially contained for the rest of their life unless they escape and then get chased down. This can also represent the pursuit of knowledge as Prometheus gave fire to humanity through technology and knowledge. Thats for the knowledge part of it, for technology, I still don't know. Fun fact: Oppenheimer was basically prometheus too, he gave the humans fire in the form of the Atomic bomb and was tortured for eternity due to the immense guilt and depression that came with the aftermath of his creation. I just wanted to say that for no reason :D

ik this 8 months ago but I caught that as well, idk if he is still 'alive' its a possiblity that he is but really cant do anything when a living being is turned into a glitch pretty sure there is no cure for that 🤣 unless yk what the coding is on the cmd and how to use it, my guess the files on the laptop has probably npc textures and scripts and they have a sentient-like mind that can transfer itself to one file to another so if you look at the open space they saw the woman that was about to attack them it looked like a living room or a dinning room so open that file you'd probably see a text file that represents that womans coding and maybe the guys be in there as well like the laptop/house is constantly updating and ig thats what the coding is doing, updating/refreshing while adding new code lines of the entity moving and the soldiers so they're probably added to the system as well and probably seen as a virus and she is the firewall? its clear the laptop is the anomly though and its effected the house and the people that use to live there and turned them into glitched entities BUT on the tv there was a murder or some sort that happened so maybe that story is connected to the woman and the man we saw in the kitchen.

8:03 theory; I’ve watched this a few times now and I think I’ve finally got an idea as to wtf is going on here. The laptop has several open folders. One for each main room, even the bathroom. Coupled with the fact that Yava was running in the background of the same laptop it could mean that the code is used for the house, but it needed the keyword-cardoon-to merge with the house’s files. Suspect 2 could be behind all this, I don’t know. Her being institutionalized for a year with nothing else after that seems very suspicious, and I don’t know what that’s about. But she was present before AND after the keyword was spoken, but she appeared severely glitched after Yava was merged with the house’s program. It could be that the house is a coding anomaly, and Yava was a broken program that corrupted the system and house. Also it could have been a fail safe for whoever or whatever lived/lives in the house, as a way of knowing if there are intruders. But it still doesn’t make sense to me as to why the occupants would post the keyword outside the door, did they know the MTF would be there? Evan Royalty did I get anything right? We’re all dying to know what the real story behind this interesting film is
Maybe "Camel Skin" was a bad password meant to bait intruders. It guided you to the contingency "cardoon" which was the keyword that triggered anti-intruder measures (the MTF glitching and the girl trying to kill people)
It's Scp 895
@@user-tj4io6cu8r The coffin?
@@user-tj4io6cu8rNo, 895 is the coffin. This one is a full blown house, merged with code.
This might be SCP-000.
I’ve always maintained that true horror doesn’t come in the form of terrifying figures, jump scares, or terrible things happening to people, but rather the fear or the unknown. Fearing the unknown is one of our most base instincts, our brains are wired to take us far away from that which we cannot, under any circumstances, understand. These films encapsulate that fear so well and make for some epic screenplay.
For 6 armed guys in tac gear to enter a house, and three to come out, that’s one hell of a gas leak

That's the thing about the MTF's. They're not simple grunts, they are specifically picked and like often mentioned in the comments "the best of the best". Sure, most of the time they have no clue what they're dealing with, but they can make pretty good guesses from experience and briefings.

That ending though, incredible acting and editing! Very well done.
I honestly think this one was better than Overlord. They’re way more “tacticool” but still keep their cool when dealing with the unnatural. It feels like this first one is a lot more solid all around, while overlord uses more visual gags to keep attention. This first one is just so unnerving and so well produced it’s crazy. Like, the AUDIO in this one is so good!
Both are very good, but I feel the acting is better in overlord
Some dialogue in this one was kinda cheesy, but like, overall, both of them are awesome, watched them back to back
In both Overlord and in this one it seemed like they rehearsed the indoor movements a lot but didn't really give the same considerations to how a team as elite as this would be moving through the outdoors. And obviously, since the ratio of indoor/outdoor scenes here is a lot more than in Overlord, it feels tighter.

This is basically a horror film but with a badass task force as the protagonists instead of terrified civilians. This is the uniqueness I love in a film. Especially an SCP one.
You might like the second REC film. SWAT team enters a building after the events of the first film.
That's literally everything I could ask for in a non superhero movie, badass action with terrifying horror

Honestly this short film was marvellous, I find it scary but also funny at the same time. Best moments were the 2 operators just blatantly freeze and stare at the anomaly after engaging, the last operator remaining with the computer turns around and sees his buddy has disappeared out of thin air, and the expression is his eyes fill with terror as the anomaly moves closer and hits the backspace button. Overall, this short film is a masterpiece.
3 years later and that last scene still gives me chills.

A theory on the "glitchy" movement of the girl, the titles Dollhouse so the sudden jumps to a new location is a lot like picking up and putting down a figure in a dollhouse. O Niel's disappearance could be that whoever or whatever is controlling the house physically picked up and removed O Niel's figure from the house, this also explains the dissapearing of the furniture, they were simply removed by the "controller" of the house. The non-Euclidean geometry is sort of like how a dollhouse can be split open to give a better view inside and the portal in the bedroom could just be them moving from one split part of the house to another.
I was about to ask why this comment isn’t as liked or replied to then I realized it’s not even two weeks old. What you said makes a lot of sense but that then begs the question who’s in control of the dollhouse?
