25 wild hogs total on the property for this catch. Are time is up with the current land owner. We put a dent in the wild hog population, but much more work is needed here. Hopefully, we will be invited back before hunting season.

No negative comments from me. You did a great job. Anyone who understands how destructive those feral hogs are would applaud your efforts.
Thank You and thanks for watching!
How destructive are they? They living in the forest and you living yours. I live in a forest resort before, I have seem them too. They never disturb anyone living there and we don't bother them. Even they come out at night to find food and we in the day. So I don't understand why human still find faults with them. I only see greed to eat them because they not willing to take out their pocket to buy butcher farm meat at store.
@@wendyshoowaiching4161 Well, these farmers and ranchers spend long hours all day every day and into the night to care for their crops and tend to their animals. They’re fighting to survive in very difficult times. They work very hard to provide food for the world. According to a USDA study, wild hogs can be blamed for $1.5 billion in damages every year in the United States. The feeding habits of wild hogs make them particularly destructive to crops, woodland habitats, levees, moist soil units, golf courses, and right of ways.
@@YT-ty1oy If you can't find a mutual solution, killing them long term will cause direct harm to the hunter. Karma of killing is not one can joke about. Human could not win fight over lesser beings without bearing the burn themselves. The game of karma is no killing and suffering cause to other party. You can work it out. Put them in large santuary they can thrive without disturbing your life.
@@wendyshoowaiching4161 boars are a massive issue here in France, they destroy fences, trash farmland and gardens. They are getting closer and closer to habitations which could be dangerous. There is a massive overpopulation which is only growing worse despite hunters killing 800k a year. They cause between 60 to 80 million euros of damage each year in France. 97% of the damages caused by big hunting stock are caused by hogs in my region.
Appreciate your hard work Sir, much love to your wonderful family. Unfortunate you missed the straggler, with that cover you were brave to take the shot. I wish more folks realized what a necessity great families like yours are to the environment. We have to get the pigs under control. God Bless Y’all !!!
Thank You for your nice comments and thanks for watching.
Both you and Dave do a great service for land owners and wildlife.
Thank You. We are doing our best
Some people do not understand how destructive and dangerous wild pigs can be. The wild pigs only redeeming quality is they are good to eat.
They are nummy
What a nice load of hogs.👍🏻 This load gone will improve the deer population. I say land management at its finest. You and Mr. Ellis keep up the great work.
Thank You. We will keep at it.
I have live in the city my whole life, I appreciate what you do, I didn't understand much, until my husband told me of the damage this creatures cause... those are some brave ladies, nice work🙋♀️
Thank You. We do our best to help the landowners. Anytime we can teach new people and young kids about the process and why we do this, I consider it a success. Thanks for watching!
Love it when the gates drop and they go nuts. It's like when a sovreign citizen gets tazed.
😂😂
I'm a new subscriber and wish you lots of luck with catching hogs for your friend. I keep up with David Ellis and Arns Family Homestead and Keeping It Dutch in OK. Here's to you eventually supporting your family with your channel as these men do. Lots of work but very rewarding. GOOD LUCK
Thanks for the comment. I watch Arms Family Homestead all the time. Daniel Arms is the reason I started a channel. I also watch David Ellis channel because of the trapping videos. There are just a couple I watch occasionally but always those two guys!!!!!!
Thanks for the education with the Phases needed. I am in the process of baiting, and I believe I might need to open up one of the side panels. Currently, I only have one boar entering the corral.
Keep at it. It’s a waiting game.
Great job and teaching the next generation of hog hunters
Thank You
Great video! Thank you for all your efforts in keeping these destructive and potentially dangerous animals population in check.
Thank You
Great video!!! Thanks for explaining all the steps it takes to make a good catch. Very informative I appreciate that. I’m a new subscriber!
Thank you. We really enjoy helping these landowners and farmers. I have have plenty more trapping videos for you to watch and we are working right now on trapping a new sounder. Stay Tuned Thanks again
Excellent plan and great work. And, his girls are the best!

Great work. On all aspects. Thank you.
Much appreciated!
Great video. Makes me want to be younger and change careers. Had I known about this as a younger man, I would have wanted to do it.

I'm in Newport Beach CA. My step-mom (in her 90s) is from the south (Arkansas). Y'all talk jest like her and are just as hardy and self-sufficient. God bless!
That because she would have been close enough to me to be neighbors
Thank you for all you and your family do to try and control the damage this invasive species has on our food supply and native wildlife.
A nice family doing great work. People have no idea of the damage these pests do
Thank you
An educational and entertaining presentation! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers, Dick from Vancouver.

Thank you!
I got 6 boys that love your daughter’s. 🇺🇸 great video family is everything
Thanks so much
That’s a great way to learn, well done
Thank You
Loved it
Keep on keeping on, these critters get in a haters yard (if they can afford one) they wont be a hater anymore. Then they will hate hogs. They just don’t understand what they are dealing with. Ignorance is bliss and haters gonna hate… These critters are the most destructive animals out there. Great job!!
Thank You and thanks for watching. Got plenty more trapping videos for you to watch.
@@hollyridgehomestead so do you kill the babies too as you catch them and how I'd love to learn more or get a video on it
@@animegodfs everything is dispatch. Babies grow up to make babies in 4-6 months.
@@hollyridgehomestead okay I thought so or it would be pointless
Excellent job, not easy, but necessary.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Oh boy i would love to live on a farm like that. Im urban but i want so much to learn how to shoot, farm etc
Move outside the city and start small. It doesn’t have to be large tract of land.
Thing is, even with a small plot of land, it's a big responsibility!
Dang what a catch!
Thank You
You are great family! (Aleksey from Siberia)
Thank You. I’m glad you like watching them.
I haven't seen a hater in here yet. Refreshing.
Well it’s hard to hurt my feelings so they gave up!
Great!
Great Work!

I don’t hate . I admire. I don’t criticize, I encourage. If any crops whatsoever are going to grow FOOD that people EAT , then the hogs must go! Thank You for your wonderful swine eradication system!! 🏹🐗🏹🐗🏹

He was very grateful
You did an awesome job friend. Loved it and we are subscribing. 👍❤️

Pigs: "Sqee! Grunt! Grunt! Wheeb!" Translation: "Uh, Guys...we're royally f***ed!"
Thanks for watching!!
He actually puts out a little lucky buck who sponsors him
It would be nice if Luck Buck wanted to sponsor me too. As of right now, I have zero sponsors.
Wow, these hogs are much wilder and noisier than the yawt yawt hogs. Great video but I do like to see the drop.
It’s a rush trying to catch them. I hate that I didn’t see the one on the outside. While we were conditioning, it was 25 hogs. But reviewing the video I believe it was a boar hog. So all good.
Get em!
good work....keep it up
Thank you.
New sub. Great job!
Thank You. Got more for you to watch and we are conditioning a new sounder now.
Hunting by trap is much better than gun 👍
It’s definitely a bigger bang for what we are trying to do. But I do like a good thermal hunt.
Wow.......😲😲😲👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️
Thank You
Great documentation of a problem being solved. Impressive planning and execution. This may be too much to ask but any idea how many pounds of meat are produced and how many mouths fed with that meat? I’ve never had wild boar. Tasty?
This time of year its very hot. Its almost impossible to process them before they go bad. During the fall through spring is when we donate all the hogs to families for processing. I don't weigh them so not sure how much weight, but I would imagine a lot. The families show up and we load them into trucks and trailers. I would say we donate about 90% of hogs to families when the weather permits excluding summer. If cooked correctly it taste very good. Thanks for watching.
wow that's a lot of pigs
Definitely a good catch. Landowner was very happy.
Great video 😊
Thank You and thanks for watching.
While the drop traps are fun to watch, the passive net traps seem to be more efficient in that you don't need to condition the pigs and you don't need to be up at 2AM to drop the gates.
good video
Thank You
That’s an amazing catch. Congratulations. What is there to hate?
Thank You
I think a hog horror movie would be a hit at the movie theater, those things are scary!
They can hurt you and even kill you. Very dangerous!
I love this s*** awesome video
Thank You
Wish we had some in PA!
If you ever come to the south, email me and I will show why you don’t ever want them. Thanks for watching
I live in Bethlehem, PA. (The Christmas City✝️) and even though I love all these videos I wouldn’t want that problem here. These guys are commendable for what they’re doing to help keep the hog population down. They must have a similar problem in Turkey because there’s a large amount of wild boar videos from there.
@@scotthutchens1203 Palmerton here, I think that wild pigs would be hunted mercilessly in this area
@@ken5042 Small world! You’re right, they would be hunted mercilessly; they’re in Canada now too but maybe not as much as down south. I have a number of friends in Palmerton and am more or less familiar with the area. I had never been interested in hunting until seeing the trapping/hunting feral hog videos. I have no interest in deer hunting but I’d hunt feral hogs since usually there’s so many of them and they are a destructive pest.
Bugs Bugs taste ur skin before biting Taste buds are in their feet use a skin lotion with a few drops of peppermint oil. added by you dont use a lot of peppermint oil bugs taste peppermint then fly away
Great catch! Helping rid the property of a nuisance species.
Thank You
Awesome!!! Great job. Here in Brazil we have the same problem and a lack of good ammunition and higher prices. What´s the final cost of this wireless trap?
This trap I'm using is called "Game Changer Jr" made by Bull Creek Outdoors. It is approximately $11,000.00 US dollars and is activated to close the gate with a cell phone. There is another trap that you may consider called the "Pig Brig" which a net type trap I think is around $2500.00 that would be effective without cellular service. This would be my recommendation I would consider in a very remote setting. As far as ammunition, there are other ways to dispatch animals without a firearm. You would have to use your imagination on this. Might be brutal but will work.
@@hollyridgehomestead tks a lot. Amazing!!!!
Circular trap -Make a metalic trap with mesh of 130'. Rest 60 put the net . The hog eats and pushes his way from under the net into the trap . No electronic trap operating device required.
That is unreal at all the wild hogs out there what's the most you ever caught in them cages at one time
43 which it is in my playlist of trapping videos
Great video ! What's a good way to dispose of them if you catch too many to clean and eat ?
Donate to other families and/or get to a processing facility that will take them.
Id be interested to know if you have tried out the pig brig trap and if so, what do you think about it?
I have not tried one yet. It seems effective. Just don’t know how long they will hold up on the boars.
We’ve got a pig brig. Works good, only problem with it is it gets tangled on any sticks, vines, roots, etc. I’m in north Florida and the places I trap are typically in some pretty thick areas. If you’ve got a good clear area it’s an amazing tool. Super easy to set up too.
@@chrisjackson2297 I thought about it before buying my Game Changer Jr
Good job! think You all should have gloves on
Yes we should all be wearing gloves. But you can’t tell a teenager anything. We do carry hand wipes with us to clean our hands.
People will always have an opinion of what YOU SHOULD DO until the y are faced with the same dilemma.
Thank you

Bacon is delicious 😊
Yes it is!!!!!!!!
wow lotsa work and planning there,,,,ive a friend who was driving home to her rural home late at night a couple of years ago, hog came runnning across the road near her home when she slowed down to make a turn. Ran up to the left side of her new mustang and locked onto the left front fender and twisted and fought until he ripped the fender off!! Those things are nothing to mess with.
They are very tough and mean destructive animals. Thanks for watching.
What do you do with the dead hogs?
Give them away or get rid of them
❤❤❤
Doing a great service to the nation by eliminating these ferals.God bless you and your family 🙏 God bless America 🙏
Thank You
Lot of ham there...
A whole lot of it Thanks for watching
Wow. That’s crazy😮
What do you do to dispose of the carcasses? Dumping them only feeds coyotes, rats, and such. This is not hate toward you. Just concern. I admire and appreciate getting rid of the pigs. The thing is, getting a blessing without a curse added to it.👍👍
During the cooler months they go to families for processing
My god this is like watching paint dry
But it like the Mona Lisa of all paintings. A masterpiece!
@@hollyridgehomestead Not that it's that bad of a video. It just seems like it takes forever to get to the punch line LOL.
