  • Fun fact: Hollister is a sub brand of Abercrombie & Fitch that is supposed to be for a younger audience/ customer group so basically everything you described just from what you experienced in changes and in general the clothing they sell can be explained by this (: Abercrombie & Fitch decided to change their image completely a few years back but when you walk into an A&F and a Hollister on the same day I will find the exact same store layout, very similar clothing and about the same feeling of the store, just one catering to an older and one catering to a younger audience. I have worked for Hollister and I can honestly say that nowadays A&F is a great employer and all the stereotypes that used to exist (good looking, white, straight, skinny people working there) do not exist anymore!

I actually wore their jeans until I was about 28 because they fit me so well (no waist gap!) - then the high waisted look started to come into play and they didn’t have any.
