Just so you know! When library books aren't circulating a lot, the library will sell those books in library book sales and the like to both raise a bit of money and make space on the shelves for new books! The Sprouse books probably were just not being checked out from the library a lot, sold at a book sale, and resold to you :)
Yeah, I have a few old books with library names stamped on it. I got it from either my local thrift store or thriftbooks. It's kinda nice cause it adds history to the story and now I can keep books on stuff I research

My fav disney star is Brenda Song! She has done so much for the APIDA community and is STILL slaying in 2023 with some amazing projects that are revolutionary! She is a comedic genius and such a kind person who was, not only only one of the few young woman of color on Disney during that time, but so so good and underestimated as an actor :)

The Hilary Duff With Love perfume is my all time fav perfume. I've continued to buy it from resellers and i've noticed the scent changed in the bottles i've gotten over the past few yrs. The scent definitely doesn't smell the same as it did back in the day across multiple bottles so I assume that it's the formula of the perfume. Makes me sad that I'll never smell the original again
i found a bottle a few years ago at TJ MAX and was so thrilled thinking they'd brought it back until i got home and smelled it and it smelled so rancid. idk where they'd dug up that random box or what basement they'd found it in lol but it smelled horrendous which made me so sad. a lot of perfumes can and do withold their smell. i remember growing up my mom had an ancient af swan-shaped perfume bottle from avon that still smelled fresh and new. it makes me so sad about with love. i wish they'd bring it back :(

Selena is an icon, but Zendaya is really at the top of her game right now. Honestly, I love and support all these ladies! They've taken their own paths and I'm just glad I get to witness the journey.
The only ones of these I was aware of were Miley Cyrus's converse collaboration, because I saw some of them in a converse shop in a designer outlet mall in Austria in 2018, and Hilary Duff's (first) book because I read that one when it came out. Didn't realise it was a series though!

I’ve always loved all the OG Disney girls but Selena has remained my all time favourite. She’s helped me through a lot with her music and just by being an amazing role model. I’ve even been lucky enough to meet her a couple times and she’s so lovely. 💜
Selena was definitely the best representation for a lot of females who were younger so she comes as my fourth, but for anyone who’s watched BMW you’d know that Ben Savage was an amazing, comical actor who definitely paved the way for male main characters on Disney (esp since they Dont have many of those) my second would be Zendaya & third Sabrina carpenter because her role in GMW exceeds the norm within Disney channel girls that they must be 100% girly all the time (which is also the reason I loved Selena’s character in the WWP).

hilary duff's "with love" will forever be one of my favorites. i can still smell it to this day. it was so elegant and timeless. i found a bottle at TJMAX a few years ago and was sooo excited thinking it'd been brought back and i bought it instantly. when i got home i was so sad when i opened it and sprayed it and it was soo old and expired smelling. idk where on earth they'd found it to be selling it when they were, but it was awful and i was heartbroken.
Selena Gomez, she's the biggest representation I had growing up and seeing a young Hispanic girl from Texas on the Disney channel, growing up at the same time I was growing up too, was major!! I've loved how outspoken and vulnerable she's been with her fans!
I’m so torn between Hilary Duff and Selena Gomez for my favorite Disney star! Both of them have always seemed very mature and well spoken. I just remember both of them being excellent role models as kids and they’re still both amazing strong women!

I grew up with Hillary Duff and Lizzie McGuire, so she's definitely my fave! I unconsciously adapted some of Lizzie's mannerisms that I sometimes do up until this day lol and I remember eagerly waiting for the movie to come out. Anddd my close second is Raven! I loved that's so Raven. These two shows were usually back to back on Disney Channel.

Selena Gomez for sure is my fav! My little sister also had to have a kidney transplant (I was her donor). So watching her live her life with such openness and humility has been really inspiring for the both of us.

As someone who used to work in a library as a teenager, books which are not checked out enough by patrons are donated after a certain period of time.

selena’s dream out loud collection in kmart was my favorite thing in the world. it was the only brand i would wear in 5th and 6th grade 💀
i definitely had tshirts from miley's x max azria collection! i wanted selena's pieces too, but we never shopped kmart and online shopping wasn't as popular back then, so it was never an option. i remember being SO excited to go to walmart and buy miley's collection, and then being disappointed because the sizes ran so small and i've always been a curvy girl.
I never went to Kmart ( never had close to me, just Walmart and Target) would forget about Selena's collection just bc of that. I would have loved to buy her clothes bc I loved her style then. Miley's and Hilary's were all too convenient for me 😂
I could DIE!!! when I saw that huge box i knew it was the Malibu dream house!!! It was my first doll house ever as a kid(I’m 22 now). We didn’t have lots of money so I got this on one of our first “big” Christmas’. I wanted to but my daughter(two) one but I could never find one with the furniture!
Zendaya was and continues to be my absolute fav, but Selena was the first actor I really got fixated on and now with Rare Beauty and all she stands for I have so much love and respect for her.

100% Selena. She has always been such a role model for me ever since I was a little girl. I feel she has always remained extremely authentic and has remained someone that people of all ages can look up to. If I had to meet anyone of celebrity status, it would definitely be her. My elementary school book bag had her on it and I refuse to throw it away.

This is just a suggestion but for those of us who have a high gamma monitor, the white-on-white makes it very hard to see details. If possible, i think you should put a veeeerrrryyyy light grey pad or table runner on the work top to increase contrast and visibility :)

The With Love by Hilary Duff perfume was one of my favorite scents back in the late 00's/early 10's. Sadly haven't found a similar scent to replace it.

I find it so funny that I remember almost every single one of these items vividly! Selena Gomez was and is definitely my favorite star to come out of Disney. As a kid, I BEGGED for the Dream Out Loud clothing and specifically remember owning quite a few pieces. I even kept the tags and taped them to a poster of her that I had in my room. LOL so embarrassing. I remember seeing the perfume and nail polish as well and putting it on my Christmas list but never receiving them. I feel like the best part has been growing with these stars for sure. Selena has been through so much but I always appreciated her class and kindness. Happy to still be a fan of hers! So excited to see more videos like this. This one really took me down early 2000's memory lane! 😍
Okay - that Miley/Max collab at Walmart produced my FAVORITE skirt of the 2010’s. It was like a highwasted black skirt with a think black waist band. I wore that thing ALLLLLL the time.

I remember all of these! I was shocked to hear that the Miley x Max Azria collab only lasted a year. I have quite a few pieces from that collection that I've still kept and worn throughout the years; only now 14 years later, am I starting to filter out the last of those pieces from my closet, lol.

Hilary Duff’s perfume was one of my favourite things ever! I was so sad when it was discontinued. To be fair I couldn’t get my hands on most of this stuff because Australia but I even got the box set that had a candle and body lotion 😂

I disagree. She looks better with the blonde. The Dimension it had is gorgeous. Especially with the root. It looks too grown out with just the pink. It’s temporary though so she can do whatever. She can pull them both off I just like the other look better.
Omg! I remember the With Love perfume. It was the first perfume my mom allowed me to get and I had the same reaction to it. I didn’t smell it at all before I asked her to buy it. The Vanessa’s Candies thing was just an ad campaign. I don’t think she actually had a hand in designing it. She just looked cute in the commercials.
I remember the majority of these lines. There were quite a few items that I wanted but couldn't afford. The Zendaya sweater dress is so cute.
I grew up with Disney Junior. I rarely watched the TV shows on Disney Channel. The only shows I watched on disney Channel were tangled the series and bunk'd but when I was little, my parents would often serve disney Junior. I remember, I had to wake up very early even though I was still in kindergarten and my kindergarten required us to enter at 7am, but from 4am, I was already up just to watch shows like, jungle junction, the bite sized Adventure of Sam sandwich, feeling good with jojo, and many more. In the afternoon, I watched sofia the first, HI 5, and in the last year of Disney Junior in Asia (2021), I remember I still watched Mira royal detective, Elena of avalor (my favorite show). Even into the night, I kept watching disney jr, shows like Dibo the gift dragon, banana in pyjamas, My friend Tiger and pooh and the one I remember the most was Winnie the pooh's tale of friendship. Even after Disney Junior was removed from Asia, I still waited for the new movie to be shown on Disney+. Even though it feels different, I still believe that goodbye is not forever, someday, I can watch disney jr shows again, and even I still regularly check the disney Junior CA airing schedule, so that I still know the updates. For those of you who still have disney jr in the area, can you please tell me, what has changed since 2022 until now, and I also want to ask, why are we and the kimoja heroes and firebuds rated 17+ on disney+, is it safe for children to watch?

I remember being so jealous of their clothes in the UK we had none of it, but when shops had stuff similar it was literally always only for 6-7 year olds which was annoying because it looked more like teen wear. That velvet jumpsuit is Perf for a bridal shower or getting ready on wedding day pics! It’s cozy and provides more coverage&warmth than the typical matching silk pjs/robe. Or a bridal shower that’s cheetah girls themed (could do the diff colors of the velour track suits)

the vanessa fableyics line was highly focused on velvet and terry cloth bc that’s what was really popular then lol. i remember at the same time victoria’s secret sold like nothing but velvet especially the velvet thongs everyone was obsessed with
This brings back so many memories. I still have 2 of the Selena Gomez polishes. They are probably all dried up but I won't throw them away. I also remember owning a small pink circle lip balm with the heart logo on top and a shirt from the Stuff by Duff collection. Was upset I never got anything from Miley's clothing line because they filmed the commercial for it in my highschool 😭

OMG Wow! My favorite Disney stars are Selena Gomez and Demi lovato! I grew up seeing them in Barney first and from then on i just felt like i was growing up with them so i felt close to my 2 Disney stars.Throughout my childhood financial wise i couldn't get their brands and products but it was so much fun watching you open old throw backs. Definitely gave me some good old memories! Thank you for the wonderful experience :)
