Good job bro. 👍
Awesomeness 💯
Thanks ✌️
Wow that turned out pretty nice...good video
Nice video but I'd like to have a comprehensive list of products you used and the method in a written format because during the video I missed a lot of details.
What is the process after you clear coat this repair? Do you need to polish the clear coat? Also I keep seeing scratches through the paint when I did this process. I thought the primer took those out but I see them, using red paint. Thanks for any advice. Liked and subscribed today.
Excellent video 👊🏻👍🏻
👍👊
Excellent work - thanks for sharing 👍🇬🇧
Feeennnnnnnnnnnnnnntassssticcccccccccccccccccccc Job , Mate .
Thank's !!!
Great video, was watching this just before I attempt it on a bumper, but every time I watch a new video there’s always a new item I need to buy, I did not know of this blending agent when you blend clear. I haven’t seen this and other videos, possible to do it without?
You can do it without. If you can spray a little reducer on the blend area after you clear. Works the same
Great video 5 stars
Thank you! I appreciate the comment and support!
I bloody hate working on my own car but dont mind working on other peoples lol. Very intrestinggreat vid
Thanks man!
Good job on the small repair with the icing filler. I have to do that on my Silverado.
👍
Great work!! Does blending agent do the same thing as over reducing some clear?
Similar but I would still spray a light coat of straight reducer over the blend. Appreciate the comment and support!
Really enjoyed your vedio 🥀🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥀
Thanks for watching!
Tku man
I subbed. I'm working on my 05 Lexus IS300. My rear bumper is plastic and it was spider webbing so I am bringing it down with 220. Is the apoxy plastic filler best for my type of bumper? What grit would you recommend?. Appreciate your help! I subbed.
If it's just spider cracks you may not need filler check out this video it will help. kzhead.info/sun/oraSnsWrmHp7hH0/bejne.html
Nice video bro
Thank's brother!
Hey man thanks for the video. I follow how you do yours but the thing is mine it’s come out good the only thing is it’s not shinning like the old paint and there’s some parts that it’s rough not smooth. What am I missing here pls help me
You may have a some orange peel. Check out my videos on removing orange peel.
Nice video brother, I got the same scenario however it's on the a bedside right above the wheel, Can I use the icing to fix those deep scratches or should I use Bondo? Thanks and Cheers 🍻 from Los Angeles
You can use icing , I would use it over the paint. prep the paint with 180 fill and block with 180 the 320.
@@GarageNoise thanks brother, love the channel and the knowledge of a true craftsman like yourself 👍
Excellent how to, so when you spray the coats of primer, color, then clear, you don’t wet sand in between, only at the end?? Also, is the blending agent a type of clear??
Yes you are correct. I just use reducer to spray lightly over blend. They do make products for this but it's basically the same. Appreciate the comment and support!
On your blue car cut and buff I wanted to see what you used in 3m products but you were to quick for me to see bottles. Please can you respond with products. Thank you for all your excellent detail teaching

Thank's brother!
I clicked thumbs up in the first 5 seconds because of the enthusiastic intro 👍
Very Good Video, enjoyed learning,, Ken.......Australia.
Thanks brother!
I’m loving these start to finish body work/collision videos..I noticed on a lot of your videos your not shooting overspray everywhere when your painting..do you turn down the fluid volume?.. Thanks, Frank
Typically I spray 3turns out. Could been the gun as well
How long do you wait after clear coat to buff and polish any orange peel or possible transition line?
24hrs
I have a ding in the bumper and it made a small hole in it. I filled it with bonding and painted it but it still doesn't blend in with the car panel/paint. Would sanding it w 3000 grit and polishing work to blend it in?
Did you clear it? If you put clear on it you could wet sand it. Be careful sanding the blend too much tho.
Did you sand between base coats? How many base coats did you apply?
No sanding between base coats. 2-3 coats of base typically. You want to make sue the primer is covered, add coats untill coverage is good . Thanks for the comment!
Will the icing product remain pliable? I need to do a bumper repair that is a little more extensive and I wonder if it could eventually crack. If so, can you recommend another product?
For small areas it would be fine. If your doing larger areas I would recommend sem bumper bite flexible glaze amzn.to/3bBhWx.
How do you handle plain black bumpers, like on the jeeps, I see alot of people doing this to painted bumpers, but not one remove scuffs of plain black bumpers
Yeah the reason is most of those bumpers are textured so it's more involved to make it look good.
At the last you said a blending agent.... Not sure what you mean?? What aerosol blending agent is it? This is different than a clear coat? Also any particular aerosol clear coat? Thank you!
A blending agent is used when blending clearcoat. You can buy it in an Aerosol can . One blending agent I've used is called melt away, I believe. I don't normal do clear coat blends but when I do I spray a little straight reducer on the blend to wash it in. As for a Aerosol clearcoat I recommend their's a link in the description of the video to a good one. Thanks for the comment !
at about 12:00 the paint was a mixture of paint and clear coat? And the blending agent was applied immediately after the second coat?
Sorry Steve ,the blending agent was just reducer a light to medium coat. appreciate the comment and support !
pas mal!
👍
If I’m working on a white vehicle, would I even need to worry about painting? Or is the putty not good for weather and such?
body filler or putty will not hold up without being painted.
Hello! Why don't you show when you put Clearcoat? It is the one that is the most difficult to succeed with. Thanks for a good video in general. From Tommy Bertilsson from Sweden
Sorry brother camera didn't record but I still thought it was worth posting. My channel has other videos that show clearcoat. Appreciate the comment!
I got a motorcycle and dumped, do you have a way to fix a water patch of scratches on a plastic thunder?
Plastic is a real similar repair. You want to use a filler made for plastics. Check out some of my other videos on bumper repairs it should help.
Hi Chris
When u use the 1500 scotchbrite to scuff the area, can I just use 1500 grit sandpaper?
Yes you can
Would this method work for a jeep renegade with longer deep scratches? How much $ is this method?
Yes it would, at a body shop about $500
You really made this look easy. I really would like to repair my bumper. Otherwise it'll cost me around $700 to fix the scratch on the bumper and the metal part of the quarter panel
You can do it!
got any tips on how to fix a small scratch in plastic trim that usually runs down the side of the car?
If it's a painted trim to match the car you can repair it just like a bumper. If it's textured black trim then there's not much you can other than replace it.
Can I use sealer before base and clear, instead of primer?
If your using filler than no. You might be able to get away with it but better to use primer. Thanks for watching!
What is a blending agent or reducer?
Blending agent is a product that helps the new clear bite into the old when you blend clear. Melt away is the name of one of them, you spay it over the blended area. Most of the time I will use a little reducer and spray it over the blend right after clearing. Thanks for the comment
can i use that putty on fiberglass i just scratched my Van fiberglass roof
If it is a small scratch it would be ok.
Great video, but there's no way I could take this on myself, could you come over and help me out lol.
What did he mix in with icing puddy filling stuff
That is hardener it's mixed with the icing and activates it to harden the filler. It is included with any filler at purchase. Hope this helps that for the question.
Like it never happened.
Which blending agent is best buy from a place like Autozone?
I don't know what Autozone offers if you doing a spot repair they may carry upol #9 this is made for blending clearcoat. You can find it in my Amazon storefront link in description of the video. Appreciate the support!
Bro, remember me when u got 100k subs
Of course
What is the blue your mixing into the poly putty?
That is the hardner.
@@GarageNoise is the hardener a separate purchase, if so what the brand name? Thx love the video
Is what you called “glaze” same as polish?
No, glaze is a filler for dents or scratches
How long does it take the putty to dry its been a day now and it's still not all the way dry smh what did I miss ?
Not long 20 min in cold temps. You may not of had enough hardner to your filler.
You in NY/NJ?
No, sorry
I have same scratches on my car bumper. How much it will cost me to get repair??
It just depends, to repair and repaint a bumer it can be anywhere from 500-800
How much would something like this cost at a professional shop?
5-600
Thanks will give this a try - the idiot who scraped a concrete pillar
Where are you guys located
Near Tulsa Oklahoma
What if you couldn’t find a blending agent? What are some good tips?
You could spray a little reducer on the blend this will help it blend.
Razor blade? How about a old credit card?
That would work great!
Good job brother 👍👍 Play at my home :)
