Razer Naga Pro unboxing and review - oh boy, that's a lot of buttons
This is an unboxing and review of the Razer Naga Pro, a seriously awesome mouse with some nifty specs. It's cool because it comes with swappable side plates, which basically means you can customise the number of buttons on it depending on what game you're playing - whether MOBA, MMO, FPS or other. Nifty!

The best a review on this mouse that I saw at all time! Amazing real 4k quality, and the voice acting and editing are also magical. Thanks a lot, and good luck you channel in future!
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed enough to sub
I was waiting for this amazing review. I own this mouse and love it
Why would you look at this review if you own it?
@@deadlygames5162 I’m just a subscriber of provoked prawn and wanted to see if he thought it was also a nice mouse.
@@JaxonizeYT oh I get that, also fast reply
@@deadlygames5162 I have mobile notifications that’s why it was fast
Thanks Jaxonize. Glad you're liking it too!
this certainly looks interesting - the ideas that we see
I liked the fact you used a good quality knife
Great review buddy keep up the good work :)
Thanks, will do! Hope you enjoyed enough to subscribe!
That knife is dope, what is it? Edit: Gerber Quadrant
May you please tell us How sharp are the buttons to press? Does it have clicky, very sharp clicks as Viper Ultimate or Logitech GPW ?
Just bought one and the left and right click are wobbly. As if there is a milimeter of space that is causing the clicks to sag. When you lightly touch the right or left mouse click you can feel them wobble without actually clicking down. You can also hear them wobble which is annoying. This seems to be a design flaw as there are many others who experienced this straight out of the box.
Do you think the v2 pro Is worth the price compares to this one? Could you do a vídeo about the difference between the two?
thinking about getting this as a replacement for my venus pro wireless the one thing preventing me from just buying it is the venus pro has this top button that you can program to an autoclicker, and i use that button a lot along with the 12 side buttons. definitely getting naga pro if/when my venus pro breaks. also im the guy using the 12key plate for fps games. 1 2 and 3 for melee and guns, 4 5 are movement macros, 10 11 12 are obs record rmb-macro and seizure respectively edit i just realized the scroll left and scroll right are programable, that could definitely be a replacement for my autoclicker button
Every single button on the mouse is reprogrammable with custom macros, you know. I have an auto clicker assigned to one of the side buttons
Hi 👋🏾 I was looking for a alternative for my Tuact venom x4 mouse. Any advice ?
bump, wish more mice had ring finger support rests like the naga does
Newbie question: using the 12 button for mmorpgs and keybinding 1 as Shift +q and Shift + W for a gear switch. Is it possible to then swap to the 6 sidebutton for a different «profile» where 1 is a shield battery and 1 is keybound to only 1 ?
Dayum. Thanks, now I'm sure this is the one.
Glad to help. Hope you enjoyed enough to sub!
Is there any mouse anymore that has pre programmed buttons, I don't want extra keys that just hotkey to my keyboard, I want it to actually be programmed as extra mouse buttons, not just mapped to space bar or delete
Listening to a noisy mouse just reminds me to turn up the volume on my game or music so that's a positive. :P
I have a question but the 6 key panel are not illuminated can you set it?
I bought this product for evaluation against another product we’re developing (not a mouse). My problem right up was that the side buttons are positioned way too far back. With normal grip you have to bend and pull the thumb back to even access the front-most buttons. To get the rear buttons is extremely awkward - to the point of losing contact with the primary buttons. (You can see it in the video even though the issue isn’t specifically mentioned) Secondly, I think the back of the body could be higher - I know it conforms to the typical mouse shape, but with so many other actions to perform, my wrist is not liking it. I agree that the primary buttons are a bit sloppy as well but that’s not quite as serious an issue, for me. Can’t comment as yet on functionality but I’m a bit disappointed with the physical configuration.
Does anyone know if the trinity faceplates work on the pro?
Still waiting Wireless G600 Lightspeed with HERO sensor.
What mouse should i buy right now? What do you recommend ? Im thinking about the Model O wireless.
I've not tried that yet but the wired version was great
Logitech G Pro X looks extra spicy right now.
@@TheProvokedPrawn will there be a video about it?
@@adam_kpjk the wireless?
I'm from Indonesian, i love this channel
Thanks!
How bout a side plate with 9 buttons, now there's an idea!!! Then there wouldn't be a 4th rear row to get confused about! It would then truly cater to EVERY genre ;)
🤣
I tried the naga trinity 2 years ago and it had a double click issue straight out of the box with the left click. Makes me very hesitant to spend so much money on another Razer product. I'd definitely buy the extra warranty option on Amazon. I wish another company, literally any other company, would make a modular mouse like this.
Challenge : beating minecraft using only a Naga pro
Love you dawg, but what's up with the audio? Sounds like you're talking through a pillow!
I don’t know what your talking about, might be what your listening with
Ur probably listening from a pillow
@@deadlygames5162 I'm not sure what's making me think it's different to other videos. More bass than usual?
Lol. I got a new GoXLR and it has a desser. I noticed the audio wasn't as good - after I'd recorded the entire thing - so I've now tweaked it. Hopefully the next one will be better
2005 called, they want their micro usb cable back
I find that frustrating. The 6 button pad or 2 button pad does Not have Light-up buttons Only the 12 slot button pad lights up. so shall be sending back. All i wanted was a MMO mouse that has a 6 pad that lights up. Guess i'll be changing to a Trinity.
Did you really need an expensive knife to tear tissue paper?...
Haha. People are hating that
That knife is £25 btw
150 bucks for this is insane...
You need a knife to remove tracing paper, then remove a plastic sticker with your hand. Is this backwards day?!
Lol. It's Prawn Time
so this would be for larger hands? is there a mouse like this for smaller hands?
I remember thinking the Scimitar felt smaller kzhead.info/sun/oq2Gh6eugHV_aqs/bejne.html
That’s not my video.
What
ITs the Naga not the Nigle
Whut
What's the point removing buttons? Might as well just have them all at all times.
Micro USB ARE YOU F KIDDING ME??
chill
hi
LMAO did you seriously just use a knife to open something covered in tissue paper?
I'm a mad man
It costs just like good mechanical rgb keyboards with 100+ rgb leds, but has just one lighting zone for 12 side keys. And usb micro. What a garbage.
Actually first lol
nah i was
Hahahaha
Let’s be honest. If you’re spending this kind of money you’re buying this mouse for an MMO or MOBA. They might as well leave the two button side out of the box.
well, yeah I play mainly wow and test other mmos but I also have hundreds of hours in overwatch and dozens of single player games like witcher, ff etc. where less buttons for a grippier mouse are much better :)
@@user-kl1ds9vb4j Sure, but this mouse doesn’t really speak to the players who are looking for a single device to do everything. It’s going to be mediocre at shooters because of its weight and ergonomics. If someone is willing to spend this much money for a mouse, chances are they will have a dedicated shooter mouse, too. I use a track ball for every day tasks and work, and a Viper Ultimate for shooters.
@@ephektz well, depends on if you want to play competitively or not, I have a lot of fun with my chonky mmo mouse in shooters - though yeah, if you want the best mouse in every scenario you would probably have to buy at least 2 mice (which would probably be cheaper than this one sadly xD)
@@user-kl1ds9vb4j I guess that’s kind of my point. Buying a mouse that can do everything is more of a budget conscious move. At this price it would be difficult to classify it as thrifty. So if it isn’t meant for those trying to save money, and it isn’t aimed at shooters, then what we’re left with what is one of the best MMO mice on the market that comes with an extra side plate most people won’t touch. It would have made more sense to leave it out of the box and drop a few bucks off.
@@ephektz i use the naga trinity for fps only really. And i bet i can clap those cheeks of yours.
